ਭੁਜ ਤੇ ਪਕਰਿ ਸੇਜ ਪਰ ਦਿਯੋ ॥
bhuj te pakar sej par diyo |So he held him by the arm and put him on the sedge.
ਅਧਿਕ ਮਾਨਿ ਰੁਚਿ ਗਰੇ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥
adhik maan ruch gare lagaayo |Being very happy embraced (him).
ਉਛਰਿ ਉਛਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਭੋਗ ਕਮਾਯੋ ॥੯॥
auchhar uchhar kar bhog kamaayo |9|And joined him by leaping and jumping. 9.
ਏਕ ਤਰੁਨ ਦੂਸਰ ਮਦ ਮਾਤੋ ॥
ek tarun doosar mad maato |One is young and the other drunk
ਤੀਸਰ ਭੋਗ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਕੇ ਰਾਤੋ ॥
teesar bhog tarun ke raato |And the third indulging in pleasure with a young woman,
ਦੁਹੂੰਅਨ ਮਧ ਹਾਰ ਕੋ ਮਾਨੈ ॥
duhoonan madh haar ko maanai |Tell me which of the two should give up.
ਚਾਰਹੁ ਬੇਦ ਭੇਦ ਇਹ ਜਾਨੈ ॥੧੦॥
chaarahu bed bhed ih jaanai |10|All four Vedas know this secret. 10.
ਜਬ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਤਰੁਨ ਕਹ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
jab triy tarun tarun kah paavai |When a young woman gets a young man,
ਛਿਨ ਛਤਿਯਾ ਤੇ ਛੋਰਿ ਨ ਭਾਵੈ ॥
chhin chhatiyaa te chhor na bhaavai |So she does not like to part with the breast even for a moment.
ਗਹਿ ਗਹਿ ਤਾ ਕਹ ਗਰੇ ਲਗਾਵੈ ॥
geh geh taa kah gare lagaavai |(The queen) used to hold her and hug her
ਚਾਰਿ ਪਹਿਰ ਨਿਸਿ ਭੋਗ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥੧੧॥
chaar pahir nis bhog kamaavai |11|And she was having fun till four o'clock in the night. 11.
ਭੋਗ ਕਰਤ ਤਰੁਨੀ ਬਸਿ ਭਈ ॥
bhog karat tarunee bas bhee |While indulging, the queen became possessed by him.
ਪਰ ਕੀ ਤੇ ਵਾ ਕੀ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਈ ॥
par kee te vaa kee hvai gee |That parai (woman) now became his.
ਛਿਨ ਇਕ ਛੈਲ ਨ ਛੋਰਿਯੋ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
chhin ik chhail na chhoriyo jaavai |(That) man was not being spared even for an inch.
ਛੈਲਿਯਹਿ ਯਾਰ ਛਬੀਲੋ ਭਾਵੈ ॥੧੨॥
chhailiyeh yaar chhabeelo bhaavai |12|(That) young man (the queen) liked the young man. 12.
ਕੋਕਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਮਤਨ ਉਚਾਰੈ ॥
kokasaar ke matan uchaarai |Kok used to recite the text ('matan') of the Shastra
ਅਮਲ ਪਾਨ ਕਰਿ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਰਤਿ ਧਾਰੈ ॥
amal paan kar drirr rat dhaarai |And Amal used to drink and play well.
ਆਨ ਪੁਰਖ ਕੀ ਕਾਨਿ ਨ ਕਰਹੀ ॥
aan purakh kee kaan na karahee |(They) did not care for any other man
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੇ ਭੋਗਨ ਭਰਹੀ ॥੧੩॥
bhaat bhaat ke bhogan bharahee |13|And they were getting satisfied by indulging in various things. 13.
ਪੋਸਤ ਭਾਗ ਅਫੀਮ ਮੰਗਾਵੈ ॥
posat bhaag afeem mangaavai |By ordering poppy seeds, hemp and opium
ਏਕ ਖਾਟ ਪਰ ਬੈਠਿ ਚੜਾਵੈ ॥
ek khaatt par baitth charraavai |They were praying while sitting on a bed.
ਹਸਿ ਹਸਿ ਕਰਿ ਦੋਊ ਜਾਘਨ ਲੇਹੀ ॥
has has kar doaoo jaaghan lehee |(That man) was holding both the legs of (the queen) laughing
ਰਾਜ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਕੌ ਬਹੁ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਹੀ ॥੧੪॥
raaj tarun kau bahu sukh dehee |14|And was giving a lot of happiness to the queen. 14.
ਭੋਗ ਕਰਤ ਨਿਸਿ ਸਕਲ ਬਿਤਾਵੈ ॥
bhog karat nis sakal bitaavai |They used to spend the whole night indulging
ਸੋਇ ਰਹੈ ਉਠਿ ਕੇਲਿ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥
soe rahai utth kel kamaavai |And would wake up after sleeping (then) would start playing sports.
ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਆਸਨ ਕਹ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
fir fir triy aasan kah lai kai |Again and again he would sit down with the woman
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੈ ਚੁੰਬਨ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥੧੫॥
bhaat bhaat kai chunban kai kai |15|And he used to kiss each other. 15.
ਭੋਗ ਕਰਤ ਤਰੁਨਿਯਹਿ ਰਿਝਾਯੋ ॥
bhog karat taruniyeh rijhaayo |He made the woman very happy by indulging
ਭਾਤਿ ਅਨਿਕ ਤਿਨ ਕੇਲ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥
bhaat anik tin kel machaayo |And in many ways he played the game.
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਹੌ ਹਸਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਉਚਾਰੋ ॥
eih bidh hau has taeh uchaaro |She (the queen) laughed and said to him thus,
ਕਹੌ ਜੁ ਤੁਮ ਸੌ ਸੁਨਹੋ ਪ੍ਯਾਰੋ ॥੧੬॥
kahau ju tum sau sunaho payaaro |16|Oh dear! Listen to what I tell you. 16.
ਜਬ ਤਰੁਨੀ ਸੰਗ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਰਤਿ ਕਰੀ ॥
jab tarunee sang drirr rat karee |When (he) played well with the woman
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੇ ਭੋਗਨ ਭਰੀ ॥
bhaat bhaat ke bhogan bharee |And indulged in various pleasures.
ਰੀਝਿ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰੀ ॥
reejh tarun ih bhaat uchaaree |Then the woman was happy and said thus,
ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਭਈ ਮੈ ਦਾਸ ਤਿਹਾਰੀ ॥੧੭॥
mitr bhee mai daas tihaaree |17|O friend! I have (now) become your servant. 17.
ਅਬ ਜੌ ਕਹੋ ਨੀਰ ਭਰਿ ਲ੍ਯਾਊ ॥
ab jau kaho neer bhar layaaoo |If you say now, let me fill you with water,
ਬਾਰ ਅਨੇਕ ਬਜਾਰ ਬਿਕਾਊ ॥
baar anek bajaar bikaaoo |(or for you) sell many times in the market.
ਜੇ ਤੁਮ ਕਹੋ ਵਹੈ ਮੈ ਕਰਿਹੌ ॥
je tum kaho vahai mai karihau |I will do whatever you say
ਔਰ ਕਿਸੂ ਤੇ ਨੈਕੁ ਨ ਡਰਿਹੋ ॥੧੮॥
aauar kisoo te naik na ddariho |18|And I am not afraid of anyone else. 18.
ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਿਹਸਿ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰਾ ॥
mitr bihas ih bhaat uchaaraa |Mitra laughed and said,
ਅਬ ਮੈ ਭਯੋ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਤਿਹਾਰਾ ॥
ab mai bhayo gulaam tihaaraa |I am now your slave.
ਤੋ ਸੀ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਭੋਗ ਕਹ ਪਾਈ ॥
to see tarun bhog kah paaee |A woman like you is made for marriage.
ਪੂਰਨ ਭਈ ਮੋਰਿ ਭਗਤਾਈ ॥੧੯॥
pooran bhee mor bhagataaee |19|(Thus) my devotion is complete. 19.
ਅਬ ਇਹ ਬਾਤ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਮੇਰੇ ॥
ab ih baat chit mai mere |Now I have this thing in my mind,
ਸੋ ਮੈ ਕਹਤ ਯਾਰ ਸੰਗ ਤੇਰੇ ॥
so mai kahat yaar sang tere |Oh dear! I share it with you.
ਅਬ ਕਛੁ ਐਸ ਉਪਾਵ ਬਨੈਯੈ ॥
ab kachh aais upaav banaiyai |Now let's do something like that
ਜਾ ਤੇ ਤੋ ਕਹ ਸਦਾ ਹੰਢੈਯੈ ॥੨੦॥
jaa te to kah sadaa handtaiyai |20|With which (I) always enjoy you. 20.
ਅਬ ਤੁਮ ਐਸ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਨਾਵਹੁ ॥
ab tum aais charitr banaavahu |Now you (someone) play such a character
