ਅਉਰ ਭੁਜਾ ਕਟਿ ਕੈ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਸਬ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਭੁਜ ਰਾਖਿ ਤ੍ਵੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਬਚੈ ਹੈ ॥੨੨੧੨॥
aaur bhujaa katt kai tumaree sab dvai bhuj raakh tvai praan bachai hai |2212|He will chop all your arms except the two and release you alive.”2212.
ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਨ ਮਾਨਤ ਭਯੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਆਪਨੋ ਓਜ ਅਖੰਡ ਜਨਾਯੋ ॥
mantree kee baat na maanat bhayo nrip aapano oj akhandd janaayo |Not accepting the advice of his minister, the king considered his power as indestructible
ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਭਾਰ ਕੈ ਹਾਥਨ ਮੈ ਫੁਨਿ ਬੀਰਨ ਮੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਗਰਬਾਯੋ ॥
sasatr sanbhaar kai haathan mai fun beeran mai at hee garabaayo |Taking up his weapons, he began to move amongst the warriors
ਸੈਨ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਹੁਤੋ ਜਿਤਨੋ ਤਿਸ ਕਉ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਆਪਨੇ ਧਾਮਿ ਬੁਲਾਯੋ ॥
sain prachandd huto jitano tis kau nrip aapane dhaam bulaayo |
ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਮਨਾਇ ਜਨਾਇ ਘਨੋ ਬਲੁ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਜੂ ਸੋ ਲਰਬੈ ਕਹੁ ਧਾਯੋ ॥੨੨੧੩॥
rudr manaae janaae ghano bal sayaam joo so larabai kahu dhaayo |2213|He called his powerful army near him and started moving for fighting with Krishna with all his strength after worshipping Shiva.2213.
ਉਤ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਜੂ ਬਾਨ ਚਲਾਵਤ ਭਯੋ ਇਤ ਤੇ ਦਸ ਸੈ ਭੁਜ ਬਾਨ ਚਲਾਏ ॥
aut sayaam joo baan chalaavat bhayo it te das sai bhuj baan chalaae |On this side, Krishna is discharging his arrows and from that side Sahasrabahu is doing the same
ਜਾਦਵ ਆਵਤ ਭੇ ਉਤ ਤੇ ਇਤ ਤੇ ਇਨ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਭਟ ਧਾਏ ॥
jaadav aavat bhe ut te it te in ke sabh hee bhatt dhaae |From that side Yadavas were coming and from this side, the warriors of the king fell upon them
ਘਾਇ ਕਰੈ ਮਿਲ ਆਪਸ ਮੈ ਤਿਨ ਯੌ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਸੁਨਾਏ ॥
ghaae karai mil aapas mai tin yau upamaa kab sayaam sunaae |
ਮਾਨਹੁ ਫਾਗੁਨ ਕੀ ਰੁਤਿ ਭੀਤਰ ਖੇਲਨ ਬੀਰ ਬਸੰਤਹਿ ਆਏ ॥੨੨੧੪॥
maanahu faagun kee rut bheetar khelan beer basanteh aae |2214|They were mutually inflicting like the warriors roaming and playing Holi in spring season.2214.
ਏਕ ਭਿਰੇ ਕਰਵਾਰਿਨ ਸੌ ਭਟ ਏਕ ਭਿਰੇ ਬਰਛੀ ਕਰਿ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
ek bhire karavaarin sau bhatt ek bhire barachhee kar lai kai |
ਏਕ ਕਟਾਰਿਨ ਸੰਗ ਭਿਰੇ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਅਤਿ ਰੋਸਿ ਬਢੈ ਕੈ ॥
ek kattaarin sang bhire kab sayaam bhanai at ros badtai kai |Someone is fighting with the sword, someone with the lance someone with the dagger in great anger
ਬਾਨ ਕਮਾਨਨ ਕਉ ਇਕ ਬੀਰ ਸੰਭਾਰਤ ਭੇ ਅਤਿ ਕ੍ਰੁਧਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕੈ ॥
baan kamaanan kau ik beer sanbhaarat bhe at krudhat hvai kai |
ਕਉਤੁਕ ਦੇਖਤ ਭਯੋ ਉਤ ਭੂਪ ਇਤੈ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥੨੨੧੫॥
kautuk dekhat bhayo ut bhoop itai brij naaeik aanand kai kai |2215|Someone taking his bow and arrows is getting enraged, from that side the king and from this side Krishna, are seeing this spectacle.2215.
ਜਾ ਭਟ ਆਹਵ ਮੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸੋ ਜੁਧੁ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥
jaa bhatt aahav mai kab sayaam kahai bhagavaan so judh machaayo |
ਤਾਹੀ ਕੋ ਏਕ ਹੀ ਬਾਨ ਸੋ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਧਰਾ ਪਰਿ ਕੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਗਿਰਾਯੋ ॥
taahee ko ek hee baan so sayaam dharaa par kai bin praan giraayo |Those warriors who fought with Krishna, they were knocked down by Krishna and thrown on the earth with a single arrow
ਜੋ ਧਨੁ ਬਾਨਿ ਸੰਭਾਰਿ ਬਲੀ ਕੋਊ ਅਉ ਇਹ ਕੇ ਰਿਸਿ ਊਪਰ ਆਯੋ ॥
jo dhan baan sanbhaar balee koaoo aau ih ke ris aoopar aayo |
ਸੋ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੇ ਅਪਨੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਕੋ ਫਿਰਿ ਜੀਵਤ ਜਾਨ ਨ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੨੨੧੬॥
so kab sayaam bhane apanai grihi ko fir jeevat jaan na paayo |2216|Any powerful warrior, taking his bow and arrows in his hands and in fury, fell upon him, the poet Shyam says that he could not return alive.2216.
ਗੋਕੁਲ ਨਾਥ ਜੂ ਬੈਰਿਨ ਸੋ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਜਬ ਹੀ ਰਨ ਮਾਡਿਯੋ ॥
gokul naath joo bairin so kab sayaam bhanai jab hee ran maaddiyo |
ਜੇਤਿਕ ਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਸਾਮੁਹੇ ਭੇ ਰਿਸਿ ਸੋ ਸਭਿ ਗਿਧ ਸ੍ਰਿੰਗਾਲਨ ਬਾਡਿਯੋ ॥
jetik satran saamuhe bhe ris so sabh gidh sringaalan baaddiyo |When Krishna, the Lord of Gokul fought with his enemies, then all those enemies who were in front of him, he killed them in his anger, distributed them amongst the vultures and jackals
ਪਤਿ ਰਥੀ ਗਜਿ ਬਾਜ ਘਨੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਕੀਏ ਕੋਊ ਜੀਤ ਨ ਛਾਡਿਯੋ ॥
pat rathee gaj baaj ghane bin praan kee koaoo jeet na chhaaddiyo |
ਦੇਵ ਸਰਾਹਤ ਭੇ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਸੁ ਭਲੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਅਖੰਡਨ ਖਾਡਿਯੋ ॥੨੨੧੭॥
dev saraahat bhe sabh hee su bhale bhagavaan akhanddan khaaddiyo |2217|He made many warriors on foot and on chariots lifeless and also killed many elephants and horses and did not let anyone go alive, all the gods also praised him that Krishna had destroyed even the indestructible warriors.2217.
ਜੀਤੇ ਸਭੈ ਭਯ ਭੀਤ ਭਏ ਤਜਿ ਆਹਵ ਕੋ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਭਟ ਭਾਗੇ ॥
jeete sabhai bhay bheet bhe taj aahav ko sabh hee bhatt bhaage |The conquered and frightened warriors left fighting and fled away
ਠਾਢੋ ਬਨਾਸੁਰ ਥੋ ਜਿਹ ਠਉਰ ਸਭੈ ਚਲਿ ਕੈ ਤਿਹ ਪਾਇਨ ਲਾਗੇ ॥
tthaadto banaasur tho jih tthaur sabhai chal kai tih paaein laage |And where banasura was standing, they came there and rolled down at his feet
ਛੂਟ ਗਯੋ ਸਭਹੂਨ ਤੇ ਧੀਰਜ ਤ੍ਰਾਸਹਿ ਕੇ ਰਸ ਮੈ ਅਨੁਰਾਗੇ ॥
chhoott gayo sabhahoon te dheeraj traaseh ke ras mai anuraage |On account of fear, the endurance of all of them ended and they were saying,
