ਇਮ ਬੇਦ ਉਚਾਰਤ ਸਾਰਸੁਤੀ ॥
eim bed uchaarat saarasutee |The Superb Shrutis (of the Vedas) declare thus!
ਜੋਊ ਵਾ ਰਸ ਕੇ ਚਸਕੇ ਰਸ ਹੈਂ ॥
joaoo vaa ras ke chasake ras hain |Those who are absorbed with the ambrosia of the Name even by Mistake !
ਤੇਊ ਭੂਲ ਨ ਕਾਲ ਫੰਧਾ ਫਸਿ ਹੈਂ ॥੨੦॥੧੬੦॥
teaoo bhool na kaal fandhaa fas hain |20|160|They will not be entrapped in he snare of death! 20. 160
ਤ੍ਵ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥ ਨਰਾਜ ਛੰਦ ॥

ਅਗੰਜ ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵ ਹੈਂ ਅਭੰਜ ਭੰਜ ਜਾਨੀਐਂ ॥
aganj aad dev hain abhanj bhanj jaaneeain |The Primal Lord is Eternal, He may be comprehended as the breaker of the Unbreakable.
ਅਭੂਤ ਭੂਤ ਹੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਅਗੰਜ ਗੰਜ ਮਾਨੀਐਂ ॥
abhoot bhoot hain sadaa aganj ganj maaneeain |He is ever both Gross and Subtle, He assails the Unassailable.
ਅਦੇਵ ਦੇਵ ਹੈਂ ਸਦਾ ਅਭੇਵ ਭੇਵ ਨਾਥ ਹੈਂ ॥
adev dev hain sadaa abhev bhev naath hain |He is both god and demon, He is the Lord of both covert and overt.
ਸਮਸਤ ਸਿਧ ਬ੍ਰਿਧਿ ਦਾ ਸਦੀਵ ਸਰਬ ਸਾਥ ਹੈਂ ॥੧॥੧੬੧॥
samasat sidh bridh daa sadeev sarab saath hain |1|161|He is the Donor of all powers and ever accompanies all. 1.161.
ਅਨਾਥ ਨਾਥ ਨਾਥ ਹੈਂ ਅਭੰਜ ਭੰਜ ਹੈਂ ਸਦਾ ॥
anaath naath naath hain abhanj bhanj hain sadaa |He is the Patron of patronless and breaker of the Unbreakable.
ਅਗੰਜ ਗੰਜ ਗੰਜ ਹੈਂ ਸਦੀਵ ਸਿਧ ਬ੍ਰਿਧ ਦਾ ॥
aganj ganj ganj hain sadeev sidh bridh daa |He is the Donor of treasure to treasureless and also Giver of power.
ਅਨੂਪ ਰੂਪ ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈਂ ਅਛਿਜ ਤੇਜ ਮਾਨੀਐਂ ॥
anoop roop saroop hain achhij tej maaneeain |His form is unique and His Glory be considered invincible.
ਸਦੀਵ ਸਿਧ ਬੁਧਿ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਪਤ੍ਰ ਜਾਨੀਐਂ ॥੨॥੧੬੨॥
sadeev sidh budh daa prataap patr jaaneeain |2|162|He is the chastiser of powers and is the Splendour-incarnate. 2.162.
ਨ ਰਾਗ ਰੰਗ ਰੂਪ ਹੈਂ ਨ ਰੋਗ ਰਾਗ ਰੇਖ ਹੈਂ ॥
n raag rang roop hain na rog raag rekh hain |He is without affection, colour and form and without the ailment, attachment and sign.
ਅਦੋਖ ਅਦਾਗ ਅਦਗ ਹੈਂ ਅਭੂਤ ਅਭਰਮ ਅਭੇਖ ਹੈਂ ॥
adokh adaag adag hain abhoot abharam abhekh hain |He is devoid of blemish, stain and traud, He is without element, illusion and guise.
ਨ ਤਾਤ ਮਾਤ ਜਾਤ ਹੈਂ ਨ ਪਾਤਿ ਚਿਹਨ ਬਰਨ ਹੈਂ ॥
n taat maat jaat hain na paat chihan baran hain |He is without father, mother and caste and He is without lineage, mark and colour.
ਅਦੇਖ ਅਸੇਖ ਅਭੇਖ ਹੈਂ ਸਦੀਵ ਬਿਸੁ ਭਰਨ ਹੈਂ ॥੩॥੧੬੩॥
adekh asekh abhekh hain sadeev bis bharan hain |3|163|He is Imperceptible, perfect and guiseless and is always the Sustainer of the Universe. 3.163.
ਬਿਸ੍ਵੰਭਰ ਬਿਸੁਨਾਥ ਹੈਂ ਬਿਸੇਖ ਬਿਸ੍ਵ ਭਰਨ ਹੈਂ ॥
bisvanbhar bisunaath hain bisekh bisv bharan hain |He is the Creator and Master of the Universe and especially its Sustainer.
ਜਿਮੀ ਜਮਾਨ ਕੇ ਬਿਖੈ ਸਦੀਵ ਕਰਮ ਭਰਨ ਹੈਂ ॥
jimee jamaan ke bikhai sadeev karam bharan hain |Within the earth and the universe, He is always engaged in actions.
ਅਦ੍ਵੈਖ ਹੈਂ ਅਭੇਖ ਹੈਂ ਅਲੇਖ ਨਾਥ ਜਾਨੀਐਂ ॥
advaikh hain abhekh hain alekh naath jaaneeain |He is without malice, without guise, and is known as the Accountless Master.
ਸਦੀਵ ਸਰਬ ਠਉਰ ਮੈ ਬਿਸੇਖ ਆਨ ਮਾਨੀਐਂ ॥੪॥੧੬੪॥
sadeev sarab tthaur mai bisekh aan maaneeain |4|164|He may especially be considered abiding for ever in all the places. 4.164.
ਨ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੈ ਨ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੈ ਨ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਬਸਿ ਆਵਈ ॥
n jantr mai na tantr mai na mantr bas aavee |He is not within Yantras and tantras, He cannot be brought under control through Mantras.
ਪੁਰਾਨ ਔ ਕੁਰਾਨ ਨੇਤਿ ਨੇਤਿ ਕੈ ਬਤਾਵਈ ॥
puraan aau kuraan net net kai bataavee |The Puranas and the Quran speak of Him as ‘Neti, Neti’ (infinite).
ਨ ਕਰਮ ਮੈ ਨ ਧਰਮ ਮੈ ਨ ਭਰਮ ਮੈ ਬਤਾਈਐ ॥
n karam mai na dharam mai na bharam mai bataaeeai |He cannot be told within any Karmas, religions and illusions.
ਅਗੰਜ ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵ ਹੈ ਕਹੋ ਸੁ ਕੈਸ ਪਾਈਐ ॥੫॥੧੬੫॥
aganj aad dev hai kaho su kais paaeeai |5|165|The Primal Lord is Indestructible, say, how can He be realized? 5.165.
ਜਿਮੀ ਜਮਾਨ ਕੇ ਬਿਖੈ ਸਮਸਤਿ ਏਕ ਜੋਤਿ ਹੈ ॥
jimee jamaan ke bikhai samasat ek jot hai |Within all the earth and sky, there is only one Light.
ਨ ਘਾਟਿ ਹੈ ਨ ਬਾਢਿ ਹੈ ਨ ਘਾਟਿ ਬਾਢਿ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ॥
n ghaatt hai na baadt hai na ghaatt baadt hot hai |Which neither decreases nor increases in any being, It never decreases or increases.
ਨ ਹਾਨ ਹੈ ਨ ਬਾਨ ਹੈ ਸਮਾਨ ਰੂਪ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
n haan hai na baan hai samaan roop jaaneeai |It is without decadence and without habit, it is known to have the same form.
ਮਕੀਨ ਔ ਮਕਾਨ ਅਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ਤੇਜ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥੬॥੧੬੬॥
makeen aau makaan apramaan tej maaneeai |6|166|In all houses and places its unlimited brilliance is acknowledged. 6.166.
ਨ ਦੇਹ ਹੈ ਨ ਗੇਹ ਹੈ ਨ ਜਾਤਿ ਹੈ ਨ ਪਾਤਿ ਹੈ ॥
n deh hai na geh hai na jaat hai na paat hai |He hath no body, no home, no caste and no lineage.
ਨ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਨ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਨ ਤਾਤ ਹੈ ਨ ਮਾਤ ਹੈ ॥
n mantr hai na mitr hai na taat hai na maat hai |He hath no minister, no friend, no father and no mother.
ਨ ਅੰਗ ਹੈ ਨ ਰੰਗ ਹੈ ਨ ਸੰਗ ਸਾਥ ਨੇਹ ਹੈ ॥
n ang hai na rang hai na sang saath neh hai |He hath no limb, no colour, and hath no affection for a companion.
ਨ ਦੋਖ ਹੈ ਨ ਦਾਗ ਹੈ ਨ ਦ੍ਵੈਖ ਹੈ ਨ ਦੇਹ ਹੈ ॥੭॥੧੬੭॥
n dokh hai na daag hai na dvaikh hai na deh hai |7|167|He hath no blemish, no stain, no malice and no body.7.167.
ਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੈ ਨ ਸ੍ਯਾਰ ਹੈ ਨ ਰਾਉ ਹੈ ਨ ਰੰਕ ਹੈ ॥
n singh hai na sayaar hai na raau hai na rank hai |He is neither a lion, nor a jackal, nor a king nor a poor.
ਨ ਮਾਨ ਹੈ ਨ ਮਉਤ ਹੈ ਨ ਸਾਕ ਹੈ ਨ ਸੰਕ ਹੈ ॥
n maan hai na maut hai na saak hai na sank hai |He egoless, deathless, kinless and doubtless.
ਨ ਜਛ ਹੈ ਨ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਹੈ ਨ ਨਰੁ ਹੈ ਨ ਨਾਰ ਹੈ ॥
n jachh hai na gandhrab hai na nar hai na naar hai |He is neither a Yaksha, nor a Gandharva, nor a man nor a woman.
ਨ ਚੋਰ ਹੈ ਨ ਸਾਹੁ ਹੈ ਨ ਸਾਹ ਕੋ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਹੈ ॥੮॥੧੬੮॥
n chor hai na saahu hai na saah ko kumaar hai |8|168|He is neither a thief, nor a moneylender nor a prince.8.168.
ਨ ਨੇਹ ਹੈ ਨ ਗੇਹ ਹੈ ਨ ਦੇਹ ਕੋ ਬਨਾਉ ਹੈ ॥
n neh hai na geh hai na deh ko banaau hai |He is without attachment, without home and without the formation of the body.
ਨ ਛਲ ਹੈ ਨ ਛਿਦ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਨ ਛਲ ਕੋ ਮਿਲਾਉ ਹੈ ॥
n chhal hai na chhidr hai na chhal ko milaau hai |He is without deceit, without blemish and without the blend of deceit.
ਨ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਨ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਨ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਕੋ ਸਰੂਪ ਹੈ ॥
n tantr hai na mantr hai na jantr ko saroop hai |He is neither Tantra , nor a mantra nor the form of Yantra.
ਨ ਰਾਗ ਹੈ ਨ ਰੰਗ ਹੈ ਨ ਰੇਖ ਹੈ ਨ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ॥੯॥੧੬੯॥
n raag hai na rang hai na rekh hai na roop hai |9|169|He is without affection, without colour, without form and without lineage. 9.169.
ਨ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਨ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਨ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਕੋ ਬਨਾਉ ਹੈ ॥
n jantr hai na mantr hai na tantr ko banaau hai |He is neither a Yantra, nor a Mantra nor the formation of a Tantra.
ਨ ਛਲ ਹੈ ਨ ਛਿਦ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਨ ਛਾਇਆ ਕੋ ਮਿਲਾਉ ਹੈ ॥
n chhal hai na chhidr hai na chhaaeaa ko milaau hai |He is without deceit, without blemish and without the blend of ignorance.
ਨ ਰਾਗ ਹੈ ਨ ਰੰਗ ਹੈ ਨ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਨ ਰੇਖ ਹੈ ॥
n raag hai na rang hai na roop hai na rekh hai |He is without affection, without colour, without form and without line.
ਨ ਕਰਮ ਹੈ ਨ ਧਰਮ ਹੈ ਅਜਨਮ ਹੈ ਅਭੇਖ ਹੈ ॥੧੦॥੧੭੦॥
n karam hai na dharam hai ajanam hai abhekh hai |10|170|He is actionless, religionless, birthless and guiseless. 10.170.
ਨ ਤਾਤ ਹੈ ਨ ਮਾਤ ਹੈ ਅਖ੍ਯਾਲ ਅਖੰਡ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ॥
n taat hai na maat hai akhayaal akhandd roop hai |He is without father, without nother, beyond thought and Indivisible Entity.
ਅਛੇਦ ਹੈ ਅਭੇਦ ਹੈ ਨ ਰੰਕ ਹੈ ਨ ਭੂਪ ਹੈ ॥
achhed hai abhed hai na rank hai na bhoop hai |He is Invincible and Indiscriminate He is neither a pauper nor a king.
ਪਰੇ ਹੈ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਹੈ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਹੈ ॥
pare hai pavitr hai puneet hai puraan hai |He is in the Yond, He is Holy, Immaculate and Ancient.
ਅਗੰਜ ਹੈ ਅਭੰਜ ਹੈ ਕਰੀਮ ਹੈ ਕੁਰਾਨ ਹੈ ॥੧੧॥੧੭੧॥
aganj hai abhanj hai kareem hai kuraan hai |11|171|He is Indestructible, Invincible, Merciful and Holy like Quran. 11.171.
