ਕਿ ਬਜੈਤਿ ਢੋਲੰ ॥

ki bajait dtolan |

Somewhere drums are playing,

ਕਿ ਬਕੈਤਿ ਬੋਲੰ ॥

ki bakait bolan |

Goats call,

ਕਿ ਬਜੇ ਨਗਾਰੇ ॥

ki baje nagaare |

the bells are ringing,

ਕਿ ਜੁਟੇ ਹਠਿਆਰੇ ॥੨੭੧॥

ki jutte hatthiaare |271|

The drums are being played and the warriors are shouting, the trumpets are sounding and the persistent warriors are fighting with one another.271.

ਉਛਕੈਤਿ ਤਾਜੀ ॥

auchhakait taajee |

Somewhere the horses jump,

ਹਮਕੈਤ ਗਾਜੀ ॥

hamakait gaajee |

Heroes are proud,

ਛੁਟਕੈਤ ਤੀਰੰ ॥

chhuttakait teeran |

Arrows shoot,

ਭਟਕੈਤ ਭੀਰੰ ॥੨੭੨॥

The warriors are thundering, the horses are jumping, the arrows are being discharged and the fighters are going astray in the multitude.272.

ਭਵਾਨੀ ਛੰਦ ॥

BHAVANI STANZA

ਜਹਾ ਬੀਰ ਜੁਟੈ ॥

jahaa beer juttai |

Where the warriors are assembled (to fight there)

ਸਬੈ ਠਾਟ ਠਟੈ ॥

sabai tthaatt tthattai |

Makes all the plans.

ਕਿ ਨੇਜੇ ਪਲਟੈ ॥

ki neje palattai |

They repel (enemies) with spears

ਚਮਤਕਾਰ ਛੁਟੈ ॥੨੭੩॥

chamatakaar chhuttai |273|

Where the warriors are fighting in the battlefield, there is much pomp and show, when the lances are turned upside down, there appears a miracle (that all the warriors re killed).273.

ਜਹਾ ਸਾਰ ਬਜੈ ॥

jahaa saar bajai |

Where iron strikes iron,

ਤਹਾ ਬੀਰ ਗਜੈ ॥

tahaa beer gajai |

Warriors roar there.

ਮਿਲੈ ਸੰਜ ਸਜੈ ॥

milai sanj sajai |

Armored and met (among others)

ਨ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਪੈਗ ਭਜੈ ॥੨੭੪॥

n dvai paig bhajai |274|

Where the steel is colliding, there the warriors are thundering, the armours are colliding with the armours, but the warriors are not retracing even two steps.274.

ਕਹੂੰ ਭੂਰ ਭਾਜੈ ॥

kahoon bhoor bhaajai |

Somewhere many (cowards) are running away,

ਕਹੂੰ ਵੀਰ ਗਾਜੈ ॥

kahoon veer gaajai |

Somewhere the heroes are roaring,

ਕਹੂੰ ਜੋਧ ਜੁਟੈ ॥

kahoon jodh juttai |

Somewhere the warriors are gathered,

ਕਹੂੰ ਟੋਪ ਟੁਟੈ ॥੨੭੫॥

Somewhere the horses are running, somewhere the warriors are thundering, somewhere the heroic fighters are fighting and somewhere the warriors with breaking of their helmets are falling down.275.
