ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚਤੁਰ ਲੀਜੀਅਹੁ ਜਾਨ ॥੩੧੧॥
naam paas ke hot hai chatur leejeeahu jaan |311|Saying primarily the word “Vaat” and then adding the words “Haa” and " Astar" , the names names of Paash are formed, which are recognized by the wise people. 311.
ਮਗ ਪਦ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਛਿਦ ਪਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
mag pad aad bakhaan kai chhid pad ant bakhaan |By saying the word 'mug' first, then add the word 'chid' at the end.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜੋ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨ ॥੩੧੨॥

ਮਾਰਗ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਮਾਰ ਬਖਾਨਹੁ ਅੰਤਿ ॥

naam paas ko hot hai nikasat chalai biant |313|Saying the word “Marg” in the beginning and keeping the word “Maar” at the end, innumerable names of Paash continue to be evolved.313.
ਪੰਥ ਆਦਿ ਪਦ ਉਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਕਰਖਣ ਪੁਨਿ ਪਦ ਦੇਹੁ ॥
panth aad pad uchar kai karakhan pun pad dehu |First pronounce the word 'Panth' and then say the word 'Karkhan'.
ਆਯੁਧ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਲਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥੩੧੪॥
aayudh bahur bakhaaneeai naam paas lakh lehu |314|Uttering firstly the word “Panth” and then adding the words “Karshan and “Aayudh”, the names of Paash are known.314.
ਬਾਟ ਆਦਿ ਸਬਦ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਹਾ ਅਸਤ੍ਰਾਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
baatt aad sabad uchaar kai haa asatraat bakhaan |Pronounce the word 'Bat' first, then chant 'Astra' (word) at the end.

ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੈ ਧਨ ਸਬਦੋ ਉਚਰਿ ਹਰਤਾ ਆਯੁਧ ਦੀਨ ॥
prithamai dhan sabado uchar harataa aayudh deen |First pronounce the word 'Dhan', then add the words 'Harta' and 'Ayudha'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚਤੁਰ ਲੀਜੀਅਹੁ ਚੀਨ ॥੩੧੭॥
naam paas ke hot hai chatur leejeeahu cheen |317|Uttering the word “Dhan” in the beginning and then speaking “Hartaa-Aayudh”, all the names of Paash are known.317.
ਮਾਲ ਆਦਿ ਸਬਦੋਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਕਾਲ ਜਾਲ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤਿ ॥
maal aad sabadochar kai kaal jaal keh ant |Pronounce the word 'maal' first (then) recite 'kaal jal' at the end.
ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਇਹ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਚੀਨੀਅਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਗ੍ਰਯਾਵੰਤ ॥੩੧੮॥
sakal naam ih paas ke cheeneeahu pragrayaavant |318|Uttering primarily the word “Maal” and adding “Kaal Jaal” at the end, the talented people know all the names of Paash.318.
ਮਾਯਾ ਹਰਨ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਆਯੁਧ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
maayaa haran uchaar kai aayudh bahur bakhaan |(First) recite the word 'Maya Haran', then say the word 'Ayudha'.
ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਏ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤ ਮਹਿ ਜਾਨ ॥੩੧੯॥
sakal naam e paas ke chatur chit meh jaan |319|Uttering firstly the word “Maya-Haran” and then adding the word “Aayudh”, the wise people know all the names of Paash.319.
ਮਗਹਾ ਪਥਹਾ ਪੈਂਡਹਾ ਧਨਹਾ ਦ੍ਰਿਬਹਾ ਸੋਇ ॥
magahaa pathahaa painddahaa dhanahaa dribahaa soe |Magha', 'Pathha', 'Pandha', 'Dhanha', 'Dribaha' (all pass names) are.
ਜਾ ਕੋ ਡਾਰਤ ਸੋ ਸਨੋ ਪਥਕ ਨ ਉਬਰ੍ਯੋ ਕੋਇ ॥੩੨੦॥
jaa ko ddaarat so sano pathak na ubarayo koe |320|“Mag-haa, Path-haa Dhanhaa, Dravya-haa etc.,” are all the names of Paash, in whose fear no traveler could be redeemed.320.

ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜੀਅਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਸੁ ਧਾਰ ॥੩੨੧॥
naam paas ke hot hai leejeeahu chatur su dhaar |321|Saying the word “Vish” in the beginning and then adding “Aayudh” the names of Paash are correctly known in the mind.321.
ਬਿਖ ਸਬਦਾਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਦਾਇਕ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
bikh sabadaad uchaar kai daaeik asatr bakhaan |First pronounce the word 'Bikh' and then pronounce the words 'Daik' and 'Astra'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚਤੁਰ ਲੀਜੀਅਹੁ ਜਾਨ ॥੩੨੨॥
naam paas ke hot hai chatur leejeeahu jaan |322|Saying primarily “Vish” and then adding “Dayak Astar”, all the names of Paash are formed, which are known by the wise people.322.
ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਪਤਿ ਕਹਿ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
chandrabhagaa ke naam lai pat keh asatr bakhaan |Take the name of Chandrabhaga first and then say 'Pati' and 'Astra'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨੀਅਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਗ੍ਰਯਾਵਾਨ ॥੩੨੩॥
naam paas ke hot hai cheeneeahu pragrayaavaan |323|Naming the river “Chandarbhagaa” and then adding “Pati Astar”, the talented people recognize the names of Paash.323.
ਸਤੁਦ੍ਰਵ ਨਾਥ ਬਖਾਨ ਕੈ ਪੁਨਿ ਕਹਿ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਿਸੇਖ ॥
satudrav naath bakhaan kai pun keh asatr bisekh |(First) recite the word 'Satudrava Nath' (the word) and then the word 'Astra'.
ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਏ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਸਤ ਚਲਤੁ ਅਸੇਖ ॥੩੨੪॥
sakal naam e paas ke nikasat chalat asekh |324|Uttering “Shatdrav Naath” and then saying “Astar Vishesh”, many names of Pash continue to be evolved.324.
ਸਤਲੁਜ ਸਬਦਾਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਏਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤਿ ॥
sataluj sabadaad bakhaan kai esaraasatr keh ant |Say the word 'Sutlej' first (and then) say 'Esrastra'.
ਨਾਮ ਸਕਲ ਹੈ ਪਾਸ ਕੇ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਬੁਧਿਵੰਤ ॥੩੨੫॥
naam sakal hai paas ke cheen lehu budhivant |325|Uttering the word “Shat” in the beginning and then adding “Aishrastra” at the end, the wise people recognize all the names of Paash.325.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਬਿਪਾਸਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਏਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਨਿ ਭਾਖੁ ॥
pritham bipaasaa naam lai esaraasatr pun bhaakh |First take the name 'Bipasa' (Beas), then say 'Esrastra'.
ਨਾਮ ਸਕਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਚੀਨ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਰਾਖੁ ॥੩੨੬॥
naam sakal sree paas ke cheen chit mai raakh |326|Naming the river “Vipaasha” in the beginning and then saying “Aishraastra”, the names of Paash are known in mind.326.
ਰਾਵੀ ਸਾਵੀ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਆਯੁਧ ਏਸ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
raavee saavee aad keh aayudh es bakhaan |First say the river 'Ravi' ('Savi' Sraavi), then recite the verse 'Es Ayudh'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਗ੍ਰਯਾਵਾਨ ॥੩੨੭॥
naam paas ke hot hai cheenahu pragrayaavaan |327|Saying primarily the names of river “Raavi” in the beginning and then uttering “Aayudh”, the talented people recognize the names of Paash.327.
ਸਾਵੀ ਈਸ੍ਰਾਵੀ ਸਭਿਨ ਆਯੁਧ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਉਚਾਰ ॥
saavee eesraavee sabhin aayudh bahur uchaar |(First) say 'Savi' and 'Israwi' and then add the term 'Ayudh'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਸੁਧਾਰ ॥੩੨੮॥
naam paas ke hot hai leejahu sukab sudhaar |328|Naming firstly the Lord of all the rivers and then uttering “Aayudh” the poets know correctly all the names of Paash.328.
ਜਲ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਏਸ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਆਯੁਧ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
jal sindh es bakhaan kai aayudh ant bakhaan |(First) say 'Jal Sindhu' and then pronounce the words 'A' and 'Ayudha'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤ ਮਹਿ ਜਾਨ ॥੩੨੯॥
naam paas ke hot hai chatur chit meh jaan |329|Saying “Jal Sindhu Ish” and then uttering “Aayudh” at the end, the wise people know the names of Paash.329.
ਬਿਹਥਿ ਆਦਿ ਸਬਦੋਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਏਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹੁ ਅੰਤਿ ॥
bihath aad sabadochar kai esaraasatr kahu ant |By first saying the word 'bihthi', then say the 'esrastra' (word).
ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਏ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਮਤਿਵੰਤ ॥੩੩੦॥
sakal naam e paas ke cheen lehu mativant |330|Uttering the word “Vihath” in the beginning and then saying “Aishraastra” at the end, the wise people know the names of Paash.330.
ਸਿੰਧੁ ਆਦਿ ਸਬਦ ਉਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਆਯੁਧ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
sindh aad sabad uchar kai aayudh ant bakhaan |Say the word 'Sindhu' first and then pronounce the word 'Ayudh' at the end.

ਨੀਲ ਆਦਿ ਸਬਦੁਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਏਸਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
neel aad sabaduchar kai esar asatr bakhaan |By first pronouncing the word 'Neel', then recite 'Aesar Astra'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਸੁਰ ਗਿਆਨ ॥੩੩੨॥
naam paas ke hot hai cheen lehu sur giaan |332|Saying primarily the word “Neet” and then uttering “Ishraastrra”, the names of Paash are recognized.332.
ਅਸਿਤ ਬਾਰਿ ਸਬਦਾਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਪਤਿ ਅਸਤ੍ਰਾਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
asit baar sabadaad keh pat asatraat bakhaan |First say the word 'asit bari' then say the word 'pati' and finally say the word 'astra'.

ਕਿਸਨਾ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਆਯੁਧ ਏਸ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
kisanaa aad uchaar kai aayudh es bakhaan |First pronounce the word 'kisna' and then) pronounce the words 'ayudh' and 'as'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਲੀਜਹੁ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨ ॥੩੩੪॥
