ਆਠ ਬਰਸਿ ਹਮ ਸੌ ਤੁਮ ਸੋਵੌ ॥
aatth baras ham sau tum sovau |(And said that) you sleep with me for eight years
ਰੈਨਿ ਦਿਵਸ ਮੋਰੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਖੋਵੌ ॥੭॥
rain divas more grih khovau |7|And spend day and night in my house. 7.
ਪਟੀ ਬਾਧਿ ਦ੍ਰਿਗਨ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਸੋਵੌ ॥
pattee baadh drigan duhoon sovau |Sleep with a blindfold on both eyes
ਆਠ ਬਰਸਿ ਲਗਿ ਜਗਹਿ ਨ ਜੋਵੌ ॥
aatth baras lag jageh na jovau |And do not see the world for eight years.
ਉਪਜੋ ਪੂਤ ਧਾਮ ਬਿਨ ਸਾਸਾ ॥
aupajo poot dhaam bin saasaa |A son will be born in your house without any doubt
ਸਕਲ ਖਲਨ ਕੋ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਹੈ ਨਾਸਾ ॥੮॥
sakal khalan ko hvai hai naasaa |8|And all the wicked will perish. 8.
ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਏਕ ਨ ਤਵ ਤਨ ਰਹੈ ॥
kilabikh ek na tav tan rahai |Not a single sin will remain in your body.
ਮੁਹਿ ਸਿਵ ਸੁਪਨ ਬਿਖੈ ਇਮਿ ਕਹੈ ॥
muhi siv supan bikhai im kahai |Shiva said to me in a dream,
ਅਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ਧਨ ਭਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰਾ ॥
apramaan dhan bhare bhanddaaraa |(Your) storehouses will be filled with unlimited wealth
ਸਕਲ ਕਾਜ ਸਭ ਹੋਇ ਤਿਹਾਰਾ ॥੯॥
sakal kaaj sabh hoe tihaaraa |9|And all your works will be transformed. 9.
ਰਾਜੈ ਸਤਿ ਇਹੀ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਕੀਨੀ ॥
raajai sat ihee drirr keenee |The king accepted it as true
ਪਟੀ ਬਾਧਿ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਦ੍ਰਿਗ ਲੀਨੀ ॥
pattee baadh duhoon drig leenee |And blindfolded both eyes.
ਆਠ ਬਰਸ ਰਾਨੀ ਸੰਗ ਸੋਯੋ ॥
aatth baras raanee sang soyo |Slept with the queen for eight years
ਚਿਤ ਜੁ ਹੁਤੋ ਸਕਲ ਦੁਖੁ ਖੋਯੋ ॥੧੦॥
chit ju huto sakal dukh khoyo |10|And destroyed all the sorrows that were in Chit. 10.
ਆਖੈ ਬਾਧਿ ਤਹਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੋਵੈ ॥
aakhai baadh tahaa nrip sovai |The king would sleep there with his eyes closed
ਆਵਤ ਜਾਤ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਜੋਵੈ ॥
aavat jaat na kaahoo jovai |And could not see anyone coming and going.
ਉਤ ਰਾਨੀ ਕਹ ਜੋ ਨਰ ਭਾਵੈ ॥
aut raanee kah jo nar bhaavai |On the other hand, the man who likes the queen,
ਤਾਹਿ ਤੁਰਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਬੋਲਿ ਪਠਾਵੈ ॥੧੧॥
taeh turat grih bol patthaavai |11|She would call him home immediately. 11.
ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਕਰੈ ਕੇਲ ਸੰਗ ਤਾ ਕੇ ॥
bahu bidh karai kel sang taa ke |The man who pleases her (queen) mind,
ਜੋ ਨਰ ਰੁਚੈ ਚਿਤ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਵਾ ਕੇ ॥
jo nar ruchai chit triy vaa ke |She indulged him in many ways.
ਬਾਤ ਕਰਤ ਪਤਿ ਸੋ ਇਤ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
baat karat pat so it jaavai |(She) used to talk with her husband here
ਉਤੈ ਜਾਰ ਤਰ ਪਰੀ ਠੁਕਾਵੈ ॥੧੨॥
autai jaar tar paree tthukaavai |12|And there she was engaged in sex-sports lying under the man. 12.
ਜੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਚਹੈ ਵਹੈ ਤਹ ਆਵੈ ॥
jo triy chahai vahai tah aavai |The woman who wants, comes there.
ਖੈਚਿ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਤਰੁ ਐਚਿ ਬਜਾਵੈ ॥
khaich tarun tar aaich bajaavai |(He) would pull the woman down and enjoy it well.
ਬਹੁ ਨਰ ਜਾ ਸੌ ਭੋਗ ਕਮਾਹੀ ॥
bahu nar jaa sau bhog kamaahee |With which many people indulge
ਏਕੋ ਪੂਤ ਹੋਇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੧੩॥
eko poot hoe grih naahee |13|There is not a single son in (his) house. 13.
ਕਿਤਕ ਦਿਨਨ ਮਹਿ ਸੁਤ ਇਕ ਜਾਯੋ ॥
kitak dinan meh sut ik jaayo |After many days (meaning years) (the queen) gave birth to a son.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੋ ਸਾਚ ਹਿਯੇ ਮਹਿ ਆਯੋ ॥
nrip ko saach hiye meh aayo |(The woman's words) became convinced in the king's mind.
ਆਗੈ ਜੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕਹੈ ਸੁ ਮਾਨੈ ॥
aagai jo triy kahai su maanai |He used to accept what the woman used to say.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਨ ਮੂੜ ਪਛਾਨੈ ॥੧੪॥
bhed abhed na moorr pachhaanai |14|(He) the fool did not understand the matter of separation. 14.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਦੋਇ ਸੌ ਉਨਾਸੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨੭੯॥੫੩੬੬॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade doe sau unaasee charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |279|5366|afajoon|Here ends the 279th charitra of Mantri Bhup Sambad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 279.5366. goes on

ਬਿਸਨ ਚੰਦ ਇਕ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਫਿਰੰਗਾ ॥
bisan chand ik nripat firangaa |Bisan Chand was the king of a Firangi (country).
ਜਾ ਕੇ ਦਿਪਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਛਬਿ ਅੰਗਾ ॥
jaa ke dipat adhik chhab angaa |Her body was very beautiful.
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜੁਗਰਾਜ ਮੰਜਰੀ ਰਾਨੀ ॥
sree jugaraaj manjaree raanee |Jugraj Manjari was his queen
ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਭਵਨ ਚਤੁਰਦਸ ਜਾਨੀ ॥੧॥
sundar bhavan chaturadas jaanee |1|Who was considered beautiful among fourteen people. 1.
ਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਥ ਜੋਗੀ ਇਕ ਤਹਾ ॥
sukrit naath jogee ik tahaa |One Sukrit Nath Jogi (lived) there
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜੁਗਰਾਜ ਮਤੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਜਹਾ ॥
sree jugaraaj matee triy jahaa |Where Jugraj Mati was a woman (living).
ਜੋਗੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਜਬੈ ਤਿਹ ਆਯੋ ॥
jogee drisatt jabai tih aayo |When Rani saw Jogi,
ਸਦਨ ਚੰਚਲੈ ਬੋਲਿ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥੨॥
sadan chanchalai bol patthaayo |2|So Chanchala called him home. 2.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਤਾ ਸੋ ਕਿਯੋ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਇ ॥
kaam bhog taa so kiyo hridai harakh upajaae |Being happy in the heart, he had sexual intercourse with her
ਪਕਰਿ ਭੁਜਨ ਆਸਨ ਤਰੇ ਜਾਤ ਭਈ ਲਪਟਾਇ ॥੩॥
pakar bhujan aasan tare jaat bhee lapattaae |3|And holding (her) arms, she fell down on the seat. 3.

ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਭੋਗ ਤਾਹਿ ਤਿਨ ਕੀਯਾ ॥
bahu bidh bhog taeh tin keeyaa |He had many kinds of pleasures with her (the queen).
ਮੋਹਿ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਰਾਨੀ ਕੋ ਲੀਯਾ ॥
mohi hridai raanee ko leeyaa |And captivated the queen's heart.
ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਅਤਿ ਹਿਤ ਉਪਜਾਯੋ ॥
triy taa sau at hit upajaayo |The woman became very interested in him
ਰਾਜਾ ਕਹ ਚਿਤ ਤੇ ਬਿਸਰਾਯੋ ॥੪॥
raajaa kah chit te bisaraayo |4|And made the king forget about Chit. 4.
