ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਰੀਟ ਤਵੀਤ ਲਯੋ ਹਰਿ ਗਾਜਿ ਉਠੇ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਸਬ ਸੂਰੇ ॥

Brahma took away the crown and Krishna the amulet, then all the warriors roared and

ਧਾਇ ਪਰੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪੈ ਮਿਲਿ ਕੈ ਚਿਤਿ ਮੈ ਚਪਿ ਰੋਸਿ ਕੈ ਮਾਰਿ ਮਰੂਰੈ ॥

Getting extremely enraged in their mind they fell upon the king

ਭੂਪਿ ਹਨੇ ਬਰ ਬੀਰ ਘਨੇ ਸੁ ਪਰੇ ਧਰਿ ਊਪਰਿ ਲਾਗਤਿ ਰੂਰੇ ॥

The king had destroyed many warriors and they were looking so elegant,

ਛਾਰ ਲਗਾਇ ਕੈ ਅੰਗ ਮਲੰਗ ਰਹੇ ਮਨੋ ਸੋਇ ਕੈ ਖਾਇ ਧਤੂਰੇ ॥੧੫੬੧॥

While lying on the earth as if the hermits were sleeping on the earth, after smearing their bodies with ashes and eating thorn-apples.1561.

ਹੇਰਿ ਸਬੈ ਮਿਲਿ ਘੇਰਿ ਲਯੋ ਸੁ ਭਯੋ ਮਨ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਕੋਪਮਈ ਹੈ ॥

After searching for the king, all besieged him, who became extremely angry.

ਰਾਮ ਅਯੋਧਨ ਮੈ ਫਿਰ ਕੈ ਕਰਰੀ ਕਰ ਬੀਚ ਕਮਾਨ ਲਈ ਹੈ ॥

He, moving in the battlefield, caught hold of a firm bow in his hand,

ਸੂਰਜ ਕੀ ਸਸਿ ਕੀ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਬਹੁ ਸੈਨ ਗਿਰਾਇ ਦਈ ਹੈ ॥

And knocked down the forces of Surya, Chandra and

ਮਾਨਹੁ ਫਾਗੁਨ ਮਾਸ ਕੇ ਭੀਤਰ ਪਉਨ ਬਹਿਓ ਪਤ ਝਾਰ ਭਈ ਹੈ ॥੧੫੬੨॥

Yama like the leaves falling on the ground by the blowing wind in the season of Phagun.1562.

ਪਾਨਿ ਸੰਭਾਰਿ ਬਡੋ ਧਨੁ ਭੂਪਤਿ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਲਿਲਾਟ ਮੈ ਬਾਨੁ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥

Taking a large bow in his hand, the king inflicted an arrow in the forehead of Rudra

ਏਕ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਕੇ ਮਾਰਿਓ ਰਿਦੈ ਸਰ ਲਾਗਤਿ ਡਾਰਿ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਪਰਾਯੋ ॥

He shot one arrow in the heart of Kuber, who ran away from the field, throwing away his weapons

ਦੇਖਿ ਜਲਾਧਿਪ ਤਾਹਿ ਦਸਾ ਰਨ ਛਾਡਿ ਭਜਿਯੋ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਡਰ ਪਾਯੋ ॥

ਧਾਇ ਪਰਿਯੋ ਰਿਸ ਕੈ ਜਮੁ ਯਾ ਪਰ ਸੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਬਾਨ ਸੋ ਭੂਮਿ ਗਿਰਾਯੋ ॥੧੫੬੩॥

Varuna, seeing their plight, became fearful and fled away, on this, Yama in fury fell upon the king, who knocked him down on the ground with this arrow.1563.

ਯੌ ਜਮਰਾਜ ਗਿਰਾਇ ਦਯੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਰਿਸ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਦਲ ਧਾਯੋ ॥

ਆਏ ਹੈ ਕੋਪ ਭਰੈ ਪਟ ਦੁਇ ਬਿਬਿਧਾਯੁਧ ਲੈ ਤਿਨ ਜੁਧੁ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥

When Yama was knocked down, then the army of Krishna ran forward, in ire, and two of its warriors began a dreadful war, taking up various types of arms

ਸਿੰਘ ਹੁਤੋ ਬਲਵੰਡ ਸੋ ਜਾਦਵ ਸੋ ਰਿਸ ਸੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਮਾਰਿ ਗਿਰਾਯੋ ॥

The Yadava warriors were very brave, the king, in his anger, killed them

ਬਾਹੁ ਬਲੀ ਬਰਮਾਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਬੰਧੁ ਸੋਊ ਰਨ ਤੇ ਜਮਲੋਕਿ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥੧੫੬੪॥

And in this way, both the brothers, Bahubali and Vikramakrat were despatched to the abode of Yama.1564.

ਅਉਰ ਮਹਾਬਲੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੁਤੋ ਸੰਗ ਤੇ ਜਸ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋ ਮਾਰਿ ਲਯੋ ॥

Mahabali Singh and Tej Singh, who were with them, they were also killed by the kinhg

ਪੁਨਿ ਬੀਰ ਮਹਾ ਜਸ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੁਤੋ ਰਿਸ ਕੈ ਇਹ ਸਾਮੁਹੇ ਆਇ ਗਯੋ ॥

Then Mahajas Singh, another warrior, getting enraged, came in front of the king,

ਸੋਊ ਖਗ ਸੰਭਾਰ ਕੈ ਕੋਪ ਭਰੇ ਤਿਹ ਕੌ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਨੈ ਲਲਕਾਰ ਲਯੋ ॥

Who challenged him, holding out his dagger

ਕੀਯੋ ਏਕ ਹੀ ਬਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਕੋ ਅੰਤ ਕੇ ਧਾਮਿ ਪਠਾਇ ਦਯੋ ॥੧੫੬੫॥

With only one stroke of the dagger, he went to the abode of Yama.1565.

ਉਤਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਪ੍ਰਲੈ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਏ ॥

ਪਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਸਿ ਲੈ ਕਰਿ ਆਏ ॥

Then Uttam Singh and Pralay Singh ran forward and Param Singh also reached up his sword

ਅਤਿ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਏ ॥
