ਹੋ ਸੁਧਨਿ ਸਵੈਯਾ ਮਾਝ ਨਿਡਰ ਹੁਇ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥੧੨੮੫॥

ho sudhan savaiyaa maajh niddar hue deejeeai |1285|

Uttering firstly the names of the noose of Yama, add the word “Har” and hen the word “Nrip” four times and in this way, O good poet know the names of Tupak and use them consciously in Swayyas.1285.

ਅਰਬਲਾਰਿ ਅਰਿ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥

arabalaar ar aad uchaaran keejeeai |

First pronounce 'Arbalari (age-enemy, dead) Ari'.

ਚਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਪਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥

chaar baar pat sabad tavan ke deejeeai |

Then add the word 'Pati' four times.

ਸਕਲ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਜਾਨ ਜੀਅ ਲੀਜੀਅਹਿ ॥

sakal tupak ke naam jaan jeea leejeeeh |

Consider (it) the name of a drop in all hearts.

ਹੋ ਛੰਦ ਕੁੰਡਰੀਆ ਮਾਹਿ ਸੰਕ ਤਜਿ ਦੀਜੀਅਹਿ ॥੧੨੮੬॥

ho chhand kunddareea maeh sank taj deejeeeh |1286|

Saying firstly the words “Aribalaari ari”, add the word “Pati” four times and know all the names of Tupak for using them in Kundaryaa stanza.1286.

ਆਰਜਾਰਿ ਅਰਿ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥

aarajaar ar aad uchaaran keejeeai |

First pronounce the word 'arjari (death) ari'.

ਚਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦ ਕੋ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਭਣੀਜੀਐ ॥

chaar baar nrip pad ko bahur bhaneejeeai |

Then recite the word 'Nrip' four times.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨੀਐ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke chatur pachhaaneeai |

Then by adding the term 'Ari', wise people recognize Tupak's name.

ਹੋ ਛੰਦ ਝੂਲਨਾ ਮਾਹਿ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੮੭॥

ho chhand jhoolanaa maeh nisank bakhaaneeai |1287|

Saying firstly the words “Aarjaar ari”. Add the word “Nrip” four times and uttering the word “ari”, recognize all the names of Tupak for using them in Jhoolnaa stanza.1287.

ਦੇਹਬਾਸੀ ਅਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਦ ਆਦਿ ਭਨੀਜੀਐ ॥

dehabaasee ar har pad aad bhaneejeeai |

First recite the verse 'Dehbasi (life) Ari Hari'.

ਚਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦ ਸੁ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਕਹੀਜੀਐ ॥

chaar baar nrip sabad su bahur kaheejeeai |

Then add the word 'Nrip' four times.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਬਿਚਾਰੀਐ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke chatur bichaareeai |

(Then) thinking of it as the name of the wise drop by saying the word 'Ari'.

ਹੋ ਛੰਦ ਅੜਿਲ ਕੇ ਮਾਹਿ ਨਿਡਰ ਕਹਿ ਡਾਰੀਐ ॥੧੨੮੮॥

ho chhand arril ke maeh niddar keh ddaareeai |1288|

Saying firstly the words “Dehvaasi ari Har”, and uttering the word “Nrip” four times, add the word “ari” and considering the names of Tupak, use them fearlessly in Aril stanza.1288.

ਬਪੁਬਾਸੀ ਅਰਿ ਅਰਿ ਸਬਦਾਦਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥

bapubaasee ar ar sabadaad bakhaaneeai |

First recite the words 'Bapubasi' (life) ari ari'.

ਚਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਠਾਨੀਐ ॥

chaar baar nrip sabad tavan ke tthaaneeai |

Add the word 'Nrip' to it four times.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨੀਐ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke chatur pachhaaneeai |

(Then) identify it as the name of the drop by saying 'Ari'.

ਹੋ ਛੰਦ ਚੰਚਰੀਆ ਮਾਹਿ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੮੯॥

ho chhand chanchareea maeh nisank pramaaneeai |1289|

Saying firstly the words “Vapuvaasi ari”, add the word “Nrip” four times and uttering the word “ari” know the names of Tupak for using them in CHandchariyaa stanza.1289.

ਤਨਬਾਸੀ ਅਰ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ॥

tanabaasee ar har ko aad bakhaan kai |

First recite the word 'Tanabasi (life) Ari Hari'.

ਚਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਠਾਨਿ ਨੈ ॥

chaar baar nrip sabad tavan ke tthaan nai |

(Then) add the word 'Nrip' four times.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨੀਐ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke chatur pachhaaneeai |

(Then) be wise by saying 'Ari'! Identify as Tupak's name.

ਹੋ ਕਰਹੁ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਤਹਾ ਜਹਾ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੯੦॥

ho karahu uchaaran tahaa jahaa jeea jaaneeai |1290|

Saying firstly the words “Tanvaasi ari Har”, add the word “:Nrip four times and uttering the word “ari” recognize cleverly the names of Tupak for using them as desired.1290.

ਅਸੁਰ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥

asur sabad ko aad uchaaran keejeeai |

First pronounce the word 'Asura'.

ਪਿਤ ਕਹਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥

pit keh nrip pad ant tavan ke deejeeai |

Then say 'pith' and add the word 'nrip' at the end of it.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨੀਐ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke chatur pachhaaneeai |

(Thus) by saying the word 'Ari' to identify the wise as the name of the drop.

ਹੋ ਨਿਡਰ ਬਖਾਨੋ ਤਹਾ ਜਹਾ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੯੧॥

ho niddar bakhaano tahaa jahaa jeea jaaneeai |1291|

Saying firsly the word “Asur”, add the word “Pit” and then the word “Nrip” at the end and then uttering the word “Nrip” at the end and then uttering the word “ari” recognize the names of Tupak for using them as desired.1291.

ਰਾਛਸਾਰਿ ਪਦ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਅਹੁ ॥

raachhasaar pad mukh te aad bakhaaneeahu |

First say the word 'Rachsari' from the mouth.

ਚਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਪਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਠਾਨੀਅਹੁ ॥

chaar baar pat sabad tavan ke tthaaneeahu |

(Then) add the word 'Pati' to it four times.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਜਾਨ ਲੈ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke chit mai jaan lai |

(Then) say the word 'Ari' and get it in your heart as the name of the drop.

ਹੋ ਜੋ ਪੂਛੈ ਤੁਹਿ ਆਇ ਨਿਸੰਕ ਬਤਾਇ ਦੈ ॥੧੨੯੨॥

ho jo poochhai tuhi aae nisank bataae dai |1292|

Saying the word “Raakshsaari”, add the word “Pati” four tiems and then uttering the word “ari” at the end, know the names of Tupak for conveying to all unhesitatingly.1292.

ਦਾਨਵਾਰਿ ਪਦ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਸੁਘਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਉਚਰਿ ॥

daanavaar pad mukh te sughar pritham uchar |

First pronounce the word 'Danwari' (enemy of the demon) from the mouth.

ਚਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਧਰੁ ॥

chaar baar nrip sabad tavan ke ant dhar |

At the end of it add the word 'Nrip' four times.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਪਛਾਨ ਲੈ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke chatur pachhaan lai |

(Then) identify it as the name of the drop by saying the word 'Ari'.

ਹੋ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਸਭਾ ਕੇ ਮਾਝ ਨਿਡਰ ਹੁਇ ਰਾਖ ਦੈ ॥੧੨੯੩॥

ho sukab sabhaa ke maajh niddar hue raakh dai |1293|

Saying firstly the word “Daanvaari”, add the word “Nrip” four times and then adding the word “ari”, know the name of Tupak for uttering them fearlessly.1293.

ਅਮਰਾਰਦਨ ਅਰਿ ਆਦਿ ਸੁਕਬਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥

amaraaradan ar aad sukab uchaar kai |

First recite the word 'Amarardan (Giant) Ari'! Pronounce

ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਤਿਹ ਡਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥

teen baar nrip sabad ant tih ddaar kai |

At the end of it put the word 'Nrip' three times.

ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਸਕਲ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਲੈ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke sakal sudhaar lai |

(Then) consider the name of the drop by saying the word 'Ari'.

ਹੋ ਪੜ੍ਯੋ ਚਹਤ ਤਿਹ ਨਰ ਕੋ ਤੁਰਤ ਸਿਖਾਇ ਲੈ ॥੧੨੯੪॥

ho parrayo chahat tih nar ko turat sikhaae lai |1294|

Saying firstly the words “Amraardan ari” and adding the word “Nrip” three times at the end then uttering the word “ari”, know all the names of Tupak for instructing all.1294.

ਸਕ੍ਰ ਸਬਦ ਕਹੁ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥

sakr sabad kahu aad uchaaran keejeeai |

First pronounce the word 'Skr' (Indra).

ਅਰਿ ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਪਤਿ ਚਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਪਦ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥

ar ar keh pat chaar baar pad deejeeai |

Then say 'Ari' 'Ari' and add the word 'Pati' four times.

ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਕਹੁ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥

satru sabad kahu taa ke ant bakhaaneeai |

At the end of it say the word 'Satru'.

ਹੋ ਸਕਲ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਚਤੁਰ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੨੯੫॥

ho sakal tupak ke naam chatur jeea jaaneeai |1295|

Saying firstly the word “Sakar”, and adding the word “ari” and then uttering the word “Pati” four times, then adding the word “Shatru” at the end, know all the names of Tupak cleverly.1295.
