ਆਪੁ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੌ ਜਾਇ ਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੬॥
aap nripat sau jaae uchaariyo |6|And he went to the king and said. 6.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਗਾੜੋ ਅਮਲੀ ਨ ਹੁਤੋ ਗਾੜ ਰਹੈ ਹਠਵਾਨ ॥
gaarro amalee na huto gaarr rahai hatthavaan |He (Rajkumar) was not a firm practitioner who could tolerate strong (drugs like a practitioner).
ਸੋਫੀ ਥੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕਹਤ ਲੌ ਪਲ ਮੈ ਤਜੈ ਪਰਾਨ ॥੭॥

ਰਾਜ ਨਸਟ ਤੇ ਅਧਿਕ ਡਰਾਊਾਂ ॥
raaj nasatt te adhik ddaraaooaan |Because I am very afraid of the destruction of the kingdom.
ਭਾਨ ਛਟਾ ਤਵ ਸੁਤ ਬਿਖਿ ਦ੍ਰਯਾਈ ॥
bhaan chhattaa tav sut bikh drayaaee |Bhan Chhata has poisoned your son,
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਮੈ ਧਾਵਤ ਹ੍ਯਾਂ ਆਈ ॥੯॥
taa te mai dhaavat hayaan aaee |9|Because of this, I have come running here. 9.
ਮੇਰੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਤਿਹ ਕਹਿ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
mero naam na tih keh deejai |Do not tell him my name
ਨਿਜੁ ਸੁਤ ਕੀ ਰਛਾਊ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
nij sut kee rachhaaoo keejai |And protect your son.
ਜੌ ਸੁਨਿ ਭਾਨ ਛਟਾ ਇਹ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
jau sun bhaan chhattaa ih jaavai |If Bhan Chhata hears it (then)
ਚਿਤ ਕੌ ਹਿਤ ਹਮ ਸੌ ਬਿਸਰਾਵੈ ॥੧੦॥
chit kau hit ham sau bisaraavai |10|The love of the mind with me will end. 10.
ਸੁਨਤ ਬਚਨ ਉਠਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸਿਧਾਰਾ ॥
sunat bachan utth nripat sidhaaraa |After hearing (the queen's) words, the king went away
ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਪੂਤ ਛਿਤ ਪਰਿਯੋ ਨਿਹਾਰਾ ॥
mritak poot chhit pariyo nihaaraa |And saw the dead son lying on the ground.
ਰੋਵੈ ਲਾਗ ਅਧਿਕ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਇਸਿ ॥
rovai laag adhik dukh paaeis |(He) was very sad and started crying
ਦੈ ਦੈ ਪਾਗ ਧਰਨਿ ਪਟਕਾਇਸਿ ॥੧੧॥
dai dai paag dharan pattakaaeis |11|And took off the turban and started beating it on the ground. 11.

ਸੂਰ ਨ ਥੋ ਕੈਫੀ ਨ ਥੋ ਜਿਯਤ ਰਹੈ ਐਠਾਇ ॥
soor na tho kaifee na tho jiyat rahai aaitthaae |He was neither brave, nor practical that he would have lived on.
ਭਖਤ ਸੂਮ ਸੋਫੀ ਮਰਿਯੋ ਬਿਖਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਿਯੋ ਪਚਾਇ ॥੧੨॥
bhakhat soom sofee mariyo bikheh na sakiyo pachaae |12|As soon as he ate, Sofi died and could not digest (Amal's) desire. 12.
ਤਬ ਰਾਜਾ ਗਹਿ ਕੇਸ ਤੇ ਰਾਨੀ ਲਈ ਮੰਗਾਇ ॥
tab raajaa geh kes te raanee lee mangaae |Then the king took the queen by the hair.
ਸਾਚੁ ਝੂਠ ਸਮਝਿਯੋ ਨ ਕਛੁ ਜਮ ਪੁਰ ਦਈ ਪਠਾਇ ॥੧੩॥
saach jhootth samajhiyo na kachh jam pur dee patthaae |13|He did not understand anything about truth and falsehood and sent (him) to Jampuri. 13.
ਸੁਤ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ਸਵਤਿਹ ਸਹਿਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੌ ਕਿਯਾ ਪ੍ਯਾਰ ॥
sut maariyo savatih sahit nrip sau kiyaa payaar |He killed his son with sleep and fell in love with the king.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬਿਸਨ ਲਹਿ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੧੪॥
braham bisan leh na sakai triyaa charitr apaar |14|Even Brahma and Vishnu could not understand the immense character of woman. 14.
ਰਾਨੀ ਬਾਚ ॥
raanee baach |Rani said:
ਰਾਜ ਨਸਟ ਤੇ ਮੈ ਡਰੀ ਸੁਨੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁਰਹੂਤ ॥
raaj nasatt te mai ddaree sun mere purahoot |O my husband like Indra Dev! Listen, I was afraid of the destruction of the kingdom.
ਕਹਾ ਭਯੋ ਜੌ ਸਵਤਿ ਕੋ ਤਊ ਤਿਹਾਰੋ ਪੂਤ ॥੧੫॥
kahaa bhayo jau savat ko taoo tihaaro poot |15|What happened who was (the son of) Sonkan, but was your son. 15.

ਜਬ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਰਾਵ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਵਾ ॥

taa kau sativantee tthahiraavaa |So he was accepted as Satvanti.
ਤਾ ਸੌ ਅਧਿਕ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਉਪਜਾਇਸਿ ॥
taa sau adhik preet upajaaeis |Loved him more
ਔਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਹਿ ਸਭ ਕੌ ਬਿਸਰਾਇਸਿ ॥੧੬॥
aauar triyeh sabh kau bisaraaeis |16|And forgot all other women. 16.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਦੋਇ ਸੌ ਤੇਤਾਲੀਸ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨੪੩॥੪੫੩੫॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade doe sau tetaalees charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |243|4535|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 243rd character of Mantri Bhup Sambad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 243.4535. goes on

ਬਿਧਿ ਸੁਨਾਰ ਸਾਚੇ ਜਨੁ ਢਾਰੀ ॥੧॥

ਸੁੰਭ ਕਰਨ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਸੁਤ ਅਤਿ ਬਲ ॥
sunbh karan taa kau sut at bal |He had a very strong son named Sumbha Karan
ਅਰਿ ਅਨੇਕ ਜੀਤੇ ਜਿਹ ਦਲਿ ਮਲਿ ॥

ਅਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ਤਿਹ ਰੂਪ ਕਹਤ ਜਗ ॥
apramaan tih roop kahat jag |All people called him Anupam Roop.
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਨਾਰਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹਤ ਥਕਿਤ ਮਗ ॥੨॥
nirakh naar hvai rahat thakit mag |2|The women used to get tired of seeing him. 2.
ਜਾਤ ਜਿਤੈ ਰਿਤੁ ਪਤਿ ਜਿਮਿ ਭਯੋ ॥
jaat jitai rit pat jim bhayo |Wherever he went, it was like spring
ਹ੍ਵੈ ਉਜਾਰਿ ਪਾਛੇ ਬਨ ਗਯੋ ॥
hvai ujaar paachhe ban gayo |And then it would become a desert.
