ਕੁਅਰ ਬਿਲੋਕ ਥਕਿਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹੀ ॥
kuar bilok thakit hvai rahee |She was relieved to see Kumar.
ਹੌਸ ਮਿਲਨ ਕੀ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਬਢਾਈ ॥
hauas milan kee hridai badtaaee |The desire to meet (him) increased in the heart.
ਏਕ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਤਹਾ ਪਠਾਈ ॥੫॥
ek sahacharee tahaa patthaaee |5|One Sakhi was sent to him (by Kumar).5.
ਸਖੀ ਕੁਅਰ ਤਨ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਜਨਾਈ ॥
sakhee kuar tan brithaa janaaee |Sakhi told everything to Kumar
ਸਾਹ ਸੁਤਾ ਤਵ ਹੇਰਿ ਲੁਭਾਈ ॥
saah sutaa tav her lubhaaee |That the Shah's daughter has become fascinated by seeing you.
ਕਰਹੁ ਸਜਨ ਤਿਹ ਧਾਮ ਪਯਾਨਾ ॥
karahu sajan tih dhaam payaanaa |O gentleman! Let's go to his house
ਭੋਗ ਕਰੋ ਵਾ ਸੌ ਬਿਧਿ ਨਾਨਾ ॥੬॥
bhog karo vaa sau bidh naanaa |6|And do many kinds of sports with him. 6.
ਦ੍ਵੈ ਹੈਗੇ ਇਹ ਨਗਰ ਖੁਦਾਈ ॥
dvai haige ih nagar khudaaee |(Kumar sent a message to Sakhi that) there are two Maulanas ('Khudai') in this town.
ਤਿਨ ਦੁਹੂੰਅਨ ਮੌ ਰਾਰਿ ਬਢਾਈ ॥
tin duhoonan mau raar badtaaee |Both of them have quarreled with me.
ਜੌ ਤੂ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਜਿਯਨ ਤੈ ਮਾਰੈ ॥
jau too duhoon jiyan tai maarai |If you kill them both,
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਹਮਾਰੋ ਸਾਥ ਬਿਹਾਰੈ ॥੭॥
bahur hamaaro saath bihaarai |7|Then make love with me. 7.
ਸੁਨਿ ਬਚ ਭੇਸ ਤੁਰਕ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਧਰਾ ॥
sun bach bhes turak triy dharaa |Hearing (this) thing, Kumari disguised herself as a Turk
ਬਾਨਾ ਵਹੈ ਆਪਨੋ ਕਰਾ ॥
baanaa vahai aapano karaa |And made the same arrow of his own.
ਗਹਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਤਿਹ ਕਿਯੋ ਪਯਾਨਾ ॥

ਸਿਜਦਾ ਬਿਖੈ ਸੁ ਗਏ ਤੁਰਕ ਜਬ ॥
sijadaa bikhai su ge turak jab |And when (he) the Turks began to prostrate themselves.
ਤਬ ਇਹ ਘਾਤ ਭਲੀ ਕਰਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
tab ih ghaat bhalee kar paaee |Then by reprimanding this good opportunity
ਕਾਟਿ ਮੂੰਡ ਦੁਹੂੰਅਨ ਕੇ ਆਈ ॥੯॥
kaatt moondd duhoonan ke aaee |9|She came after cutting off the heads of both of them. 9.

ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਨ ਕਿਨੀ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ॥
bhed abhed na kinee bichaaraa |No one considered the difference
ਕਿਨਹੀ ਦੁਸਟ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਇਨ ਮਾਰਾ ॥੧੦॥
kinahee dusatt kahiyo in maaraa |10|And kept saying that some evil person has killed them. 10.

kanak avatt saachai jan dtaaree |It is as if the gold has been refined and molded into a coin.
ਅਪਸਰ ਮਤੀ ਸੁਤਾ ਤਿਹ ਸੋਹੈ ॥
apasar matee sutaa tih sohai |Apsar Mati used to be his daughter
ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਨਾਗ ਅਸੁਰ ਮਨ ਮੋਹੈ ॥੨॥

ਜਿਹ ਸਮ ਦੂਸਰ ਭਯੋ ਨ ਮਹਿ ਮਹ ॥
jih sam doosar bhayo na meh mah |There is no one else like him on earth.
ਰਾਜ ਸੁਤਾ ਤਿਹ ਊਪਰ ਅਟਕੀ ॥
raaj sutaa tih aoopar attakee |Raj Kumari fell in love with him.
ਬਿਸਰਿ ਗਈ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਸੁਧਿ ਘਟ ਕੀ ॥੩॥

ਚਤੁਰਿ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਤਹਾ ਪਠਾਈ ॥
chatur sahacharee tahaa patthaaee |(Raja Kumari sent a) wise Sakhi there.
ਨਾਰਿ ਭੇਸ ਕਰਿ ਤਿਹ ਲੈ ਆਈ ॥
naar bhes kar tih lai aaee |(She) disguised him as a woman and brought him there.
ਜਬ ਵਹੁ ਤਰੁਨ ਤਰੁਨਿਯਹਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
jab vahu tarun taruniyeh paayo |When that young man was received by Raj Kumari
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਜਿ ਗਰੇ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥੪॥

ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਨ ਚੁੰਬਨ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥
bhaat bhaat tan chunban kai kai |And with all kinds of kisses,
ਤਿਹ ਤਿਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਬਿਰਮਾਯੋ ॥
tih tih bidh taa ko biramaayo |Tempted him in many ways
ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਜੈਬੋ ਤਿਨਹੂੰ ਸੁ ਭੁਲਾਯੋ ॥੫॥
