ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਐਸੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਚਿਤਹਿ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ॥
triy aaisee bidh chiteh bichaaraa |Rani thought thus in Chit
ਇਹ ਰਾਜਾ ਕਹ ਚਹਿਯਤ ਮਾਰਾ ॥
eih raajaa kah chahiyat maaraa |That this king should be killed.
ਲੈ ਤਿਹ ਰਾਜ ਜੋਗਿਯਹਿ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
lai tih raaj jogiyeh deejai |The kingdom should be taken from it and given to Jogi.
ਕਛੂ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਐਸਿ ਬਿਧਿ ਕੀਜੈ ॥੫॥
kachhoo charitr aais bidh keejai |5|Some character of such a method should be done. 5.
ਸੋਵਤ ਸਮੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕਹ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
sovat samai nripat kah maariyo |(He) killed the sleeping king.
ਗਾਡਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
gaadd taeh ih bhaat uchaariyo |He fell (on the ground) and said thus,
ਰਾਜੈ ਰਾਜ ਜੋਗਿਯਹਿ ਦੀਨਾ ॥
raajai raaj jogiyeh deenaa |The king has given the kingdom to Jogi
ਆਪਨ ਭੇਸ ਜੋਗ ਕੋ ਲੀਨਾ ॥੬॥
aapan bhes jog ko leenaa |6|And he has assumed the guise of yoga. 6.
ਜੋਗ ਭੇਸ ਧਾਰਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਭਏ ॥
jog bhes dhaarat nrip bhe |The king has disguised himself as a jog
ਦੈ ਇਹ ਰਾਜ ਬਨਹਿ ਉਠ ਗਏ ॥
dai ih raaj baneh utth ge |And by giving it the kingdom, Ban has risen.
ਹਮਹੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਜੋਗਿਯਹਿ ਦੈ ਹੈ ॥
hamahoon raaj jogiyeh dai hai |I also give Raj Jogi
ਨਾਥ ਗਏ ਜਿਤ ਤਹੀ ਸਿਧੈ ਹੈ ॥੭॥
naath ge jit tahee sidhai hai |7|And where the king has gone, I go there. 7.
ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਸਭ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਬਖਾਨਿਯੋ ॥
sat sat sabh prajaa bakhaaniyo |(Hearing the words of the queen) all the people said 'Sat Sat'
ਜੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਵਹੈ ਹਮ ਮਾਨਿਯੋ ॥
jo nrip kahiyo vahai ham maaniyo |And we accepted what the king said.
ਸਭਹਿਨ ਰਾਜ ਜੋਗਯਹਿ ਦੀਨਾ ॥
sabhahin raaj jogayeh deenaa |Everyone gave the kingdom to Jogi
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਮੂੜ ਨਹਿ ਚੀਨਾ ॥੮॥
bhed abhed moorr neh cheenaa |8|And the fools did not understand the difference. 8.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਮਾਰਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕਹ ਚੰਚਲੈ ਕਿਯੋ ਆਪਨੇ ਕਾਜ ॥
maar nripat kah chanchalai kiyo aapane kaaj |The queen has done her job by killing the king
ਸਕਲ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਡਾਰੀ ਪਗਨ ਦੈ ਜੋਗੀ ਕਹ ਰਾਜ ॥੯॥
sakal prajaa ddaaree pagan dai jogee kah raaj |9|And by giving the kingdom to Jogi, he put the whole nation at his feet. 9.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥

ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਰਾਜ ਜੋਗਿਯਹਿ ਦੀਯਾ ॥
eih bidh raaj jogiyeh deeyaa |Thus the kingdom was given to Jogi
ਇਹ ਛਲ ਸੌ ਪਤਿ ਕੋ ਬਧ ਕੀਯਾ ॥
eih chhal sau pat ko badh keeyaa |And with this trick killed the husband.
ਮੂਰਖ ਅਬ ਲਗ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
moorakh ab lag bhed na paavai |Fools have not yet understood the secret
ਅਬ ਤਕ ਆਇ ਸੁ ਰਾਜ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥੧੦॥
ab tak aae su raaj kamaavai |10|And till now he is earning the kingdom. 10.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਦੋਇ ਸੌ ਅਸੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨੮੦॥੫੩੭੬॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade doe sau asee charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |280|5376|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 280th chapter of Mantri Bhup Sambad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 280.5376. goes on

ਬਿਜੈ ਨਗਰ ਇਕ ਰਾਇ ਬਖਨਿਯਤ ॥
bijai nagar ik raae bakhaniyat |It was said that there was a king of Bijay Nagar
ਜਾ ਕੋ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਦੇਸ ਸਭ ਮਨਿਯਤ ॥
jaa ko traas des sabh maniyat |Whom the whole country feared.
ਬਿਜੈ ਸੈਨ ਜਿਹ ਨਾਮ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਬਰ ॥
bijai sain jih naam nripat bar |The name of that great king was Bijay Sen.
ਬਿਜੈ ਮਤੀ ਰਾਨੀ ਜਿਹ ਕੇ ਘਰ ॥੧॥
bijai matee raanee jih ke ghar |1|In his house there was a queen named Bijay Mati. 1.
ਅਜੈ ਮਤੀ ਦੂਸਰਿ ਤਿਹ ਰਾਨੀ ॥
ajai matee doosar tih raanee |Ajay Mati was his second queen
ਜਾ ਕੇ ਕਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਦੇਹਿ ਬਿਕਾਨੀ ॥
jaa ke kar nrip dehi bikaanee |In whose hands the king was sold.
ਬਿਜੈ ਮਤੀ ਕੇ ਸੁਤ ਇਕ ਧਾਮਾ ॥
bijai matee ke sut ik dhaamaa |Bijay Mati had a son.
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਸੈਨ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਮਾ ॥੨॥
sree sulataan sain tih naamaa |2|His name was Sultan Sain. 2.
ਬਿਜੈ ਮਤੀ ਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
bijai matee ko roop apaaraa |Bijay Mati's form was immense,
ਜਾ ਸੰਗ ਨਹੀ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਯਾਰਾ ॥
jaa sang nahee nripat ko payaaraa |But the king did not love her.
ਅਜੈ ਮਤੀ ਕੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਕਾਯਾ ॥
ajai matee kee sundar kaayaa |Ajay Mati's body was very beautiful.
ਜਿਨ ਰਾਜਾ ਕੋ ਚਿਤ ਲੁਭਾਯਾ ॥੩॥
jin raajaa ko chit lubhaayaa |3|Who had enticed the heart of the king. 3.
ਤਾ ਕੇ ਰਹਤ ਰੈਨਿ ਦਿਨ ਪਰਾ ॥
taa ke rahat rain din paraa |(The king) used to lie on it day and night.
ਜੈਸੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਗੋਰ ਮਹਿ ਮਰਾ ॥
jaisee bhaat gor meh maraa |Like a dead person lying in a grave.
ਦੁਤਿਯ ਨਾਰਿ ਕੇ ਧਾਮ ਨ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
dutiy naar ke dhaam na jaavai |(He) did not go to the other queen's house,
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਕੁਰਰਾਵੈ ॥੪॥
taa te tarun adhik kuraraavai |4|Because of which that woman was very angry. 4.
ਆਗ੍ਯਾ ਚਲਤ ਤਵਨ ਕੀ ਦੇਸਾ ॥
aagayaa chalat tavan kee desaa |Only her (the second queen's) order was used in the country.
ਰਾਨੀ ਭਈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕੇ ਭੇਸਾ ॥
raanee bhee nripat ke bhesaa |(Actually) the queen (ruled) in the guise of the king.
ਯਹਿ ਰਿਸਿ ਨਾਰਿ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਜਿਯ ਰਾਖੀ ॥
yeh ris naar dutiy jiy raakhee |The second queen took this resentment in her heart (because of the cold).
ਬੋਲਿਕ ਬੈਦ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਅਸਿ ਭਾਖੀ ॥੫॥
bolik baid pragatt as bhaakhee |5|He called a doctor and said clearly like this. 5.
ਯਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਕਹ ਜੁ ਤੈ ਖਪਾਵੈਂ ॥
yaa raajaa kah ju tai khapaavain |If you kill this king
ਮੁਖ ਮਾਗੈ ਮੋ ਤੇ ਸੋ ਪਾਵੈਂ ॥
mukh maagai mo te so paavain |So receive the (reward) you have asked for from me.
