ਬਾਜੰਤ ਢੋਲ ਦੁੰਦਭਿ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
baajant dtol dundabh apaar |Innumerable drums and drums were played.
ਬਾਜੰਤ ਤੂਰ ਝਨਕੰਤ ਤਾਰ ॥
baajant toor jhanakant taar |The small and big drums were resounding
ਸੋਭਾ ਅਪਾਰ ਬਰਨੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
sobhaa apaar baranee na jaae |(His) immense splendor cannot be described,
ਜਨੁ ਬੈਠਿ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਆਭਾ ਬਨਾਇ ॥੯॥
jan baitth indr aabhaa banaae |9|The glory of that place is indescribable all of them appeared to be like Indra.9.
ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਬੈਠਿ ॥
eih bhaat raaj manddalee baitth |Thus the Rajya Sabha was sitting,
ਅਵਿਲੋਕਿ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਜਹ ਨਾਕ ਐਠਿ ॥
avilok indr jah naak aaitth |That royal assembly was such that seeing it, Indra shrunk his nose, who should describe its glory?
ਆਭਾ ਅਪਾਰ ਬਰਨੇ ਸੁ ਕਉਨ ॥
aabhaa apaar barane su kaun |Who can describe (that) immense splendor?
ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹੇ ਜਛ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਮਉਨ ॥੧੦॥
hvai rahe jachh gandhrab maun |10|The Gandharvas and Yakshas kept silent on seeing it.10.
ਅਰਧ ਪਾਧੜੀ ਛੰਦ ॥
aradh paadharree chhand |ARDH PAADHARI STANZA
ਸੋਭੰਤ ਸੂਰ ॥
sobhant soor |The warriors were magnificent.
ਲੋਭੰਤ ਹੂਰ ॥
lobhant hoor |The warriors looked splendid, seeing whom the heavenly damsels got allured
ਅਛ੍ਰੀ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
achhree apaar |With immense suffering
ਰਿਝੀ ਸੁ ਧਾਰ ॥੧੧॥
rijhee su dhaar |11|There were innumerable heavenly damsels.11.
ਗਾਵੰਤ ਗੀਤ ॥
gaavant geet |They used to sing songs.
ਮੋਹੰਤ ਚੀਤ ॥
mohant cheet |Chit was fascinated.
ਮਿਲਿ ਦੇ ਅਸੀਸ ॥
mil de asees |They used to bless together
ਜੁਗ ਚਾਰਿ ਜੀਸ ॥੧੨॥
jug chaar jees |12|They were singing fascinating songs, in which they were blessing together for their long like till the end of four ages.12.
ਬਾਜੰਤ ਤਾਰ ॥
baajant taar |There was clapping.
ਡਾਰੈ ਧਮਾਰ ॥
ddaarai dhamaar |Dhamar was being found.
ਦੇਵਾਨ ਨਾਰਿ ॥
devaan naar |Innumerable wives of the gods
ਪੇਖਤ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੧੩॥
pekhat apaar |13|The knocking on the instruments were being heard and many heavenly damsels were being seen.13.
ਕੈ ਬੇਦ ਰੀਤਿ ॥
kai bed reet |with the ritual of the Vedas
ਗਾਵੰਤ ਗੀਤ ॥
gaavant geet |were singing songs
ਸੋਭਾ ਅਨੂਪ ॥
sobhaa anoop |Incomparably beautiful
ਸੋਭੰਤ ਭੂਪ ॥੧੪॥
sobhant bhoop |14|The songs were being sung according to Vedic rites and the kings of unique glory looked magnificent.14.

ਰੀਝੰਤ ਨਾਰਿ ॥
reejhant naar |The women were happy.
ਗਾਵੰਤ ਗੀਤ ॥

ਆਨੰਦ ਚੀਤਿ ॥੧੫॥
aanand cheet |15|The stringed instruments were being played and the women, being pleased, were happily singing songs.15.

ਬਾਜਤ ਤਾਰੀ ॥
baajat taaree |There was clapping.
ਦੇਖਤ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
dekhat raajaa |The king was watching.
ਦੇਵਤ ਸਾਜਾ ॥੧੬॥
devat saajaa |16|The women were singing with the clapping of their hands and the kings with the decoration of gods, were looking at them.16.
ਗਾਵਤ ਗੀਤੰ ॥
gaavat geetan |(They) used to sing songs.
ਆਨੰਦ ਚੀਤੰ ॥
aanand cheetan |Anandita was in Chit.
ਸੋਭਤ ਸੋਭਾ ॥
sobhat sobhaa |Shobha was very handsome
ਲੋਭਤ ਲੋਭਾ ॥੧੭॥
lobhat lobhaa |17|The singing of songs continued with happy mind and seeing the glory of that place, even the mind of greed was becoming greedy.17.
ਦੇਖਤ ਨੈਣੰ ॥
dekhat nainan |(The king's people) used to see with their eyes.
ਭਾਖਤ ਬੈਣੰ ॥
bhaakhat bainan |They used to speak words (from the mouth).
ਸੋਹਤ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ॥
sohat chhatree |Umbrellas were being decorated.
ਲੋਭਤ ਅਤ੍ਰੀ ॥੧੮॥
lobhat atree |18|They were talking with the signs of their eyes and all the weapon wielders were looking splendid.18.
ਗਜਤ ਹਾਥੀ ॥
gajat haathee |The elephants were roaring.
ਸਜਤ ਸਾਥੀ ॥
sajat saathee |The elephants were thundering and the companions were bedecked
ਕੂਦਤ ਬਾਜੀ ॥
koodat baajee |The horses were jumping.
ਨਾਚਤ ਤਾਜੀ ॥੧੯॥
naachat taajee |19|The horses were jumping and dancing.19.
ਬਾਜਤ ਤਾਲੰ ॥
baajat taalan |There was applause.
ਨਾਚਤ ਬਾਲੰ ॥
naachat baalan |The women were dancing.
ਗਾਵਤ ਗਾਥੰ ॥
gaavat gaathan |They were singing songs.
ਆਨੰਦ ਸਾਥੰ ॥੨੦॥
aanand saathan |20|The young damsels were dancing and were singing happily while clapping their hands.20.
ਕੋਕਿਲ ਬੈਣੀ ॥
kokil bainee |had voices like cuckoos,
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨੈਣੀ ॥
sundar nainee |had beautiful eyes,
ਗਾਵਤ ਗੀਤੰ ॥
gaavat geetan |sang songs,
ਚੋਰਤ ਚੀਤੰ ॥੨੧॥
chorat cheetan |21|These women of the voice of a nightingale and having beautiful eyes, were alluring the mind by singing the song.21.
ਅਛ੍ਰਣ ਭੇਸੀ ॥
achhran bhesee |They were shaped like Apachara.
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕੇਸੀ ॥
sundar kesee |There were beautiful cases.
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨੈਣੀ ॥
sundar nainee |They had beautiful pearls.
ਕੋਕਿਲ ਬੈਣੀ ॥੨੨॥
kokil bainee |22|These women having beautiful hair, charming eyes and in the garb of heavenly damsels had the voice of a nightingale.22.
ਅਦਭੁਤ ਰੂਪਾ ॥
adabhut roopaa |They were amazing.
ਕਾਮਿਣ ਕੂਪਾ ॥
kaamin koopaa |The voices were wells of emotions.
ਚਾਰੁ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਸੰ ॥
chaar prahaasan |She had a beautiful smile.
ਉਨਤਿ ਨਾਸੰ ॥੨੩॥
aunat naasan |23|These women had marvelous figures, full of desires, with bewitching smiles and long nostrils.23.
ਲਖਿ ਦੁਤਿ ਰਾਣੀ ॥
lakh dut raanee |Seeing the beauty of queens
ਲਜਿਤ ਇੰਦ੍ਰਾਣੀ ॥
lajit indraanee |Seeing the beauty of the queens, the wife of Indra also felt shy
ਸੋਹਤ ਬਾਲਾ ॥
sohat baalaa |(Those) women were thus adorned
ਰਾਗਣ ਮਾਲਾ ॥੨੪॥
raagan maalaa |24|These heavenly maidens were like the rosary of musical modes.24.
ਮੋਹਣੀ ਛੰਦ ॥
mohanee chhand |MOHINI STANZA
ਗਉਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਮਹਾ ਛਬਿ ਸੋਹਤ ॥
gaur saroop mahaa chhab sohat |The image of Gauri (Parbati) Vali was very beautiful.
ਦੇਖਤ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਕੋ ਮਨ ਮੋਹਤ ॥
dekhat sur nar ko man mohat |These whit-complexioned elegant women were fascinating the mind of gods and men
ਰੀਝਤ ਤਾਕਿ ਬਡੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਐਸੇ ॥
reejhat taak badde nrip aaise |Seeing (them), the big kings were getting angry like this
ਸੋਭਹਿੰ ਕਉਨ ਸਕੈ ਕਹਿ ਤੈਸੇ ॥੨੫॥
sobhahin kaun sakai keh taise |25|Seeing them, the great kings got pleased what more description can be given of their glory?.25.
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਮਹਾ ਦੁਤਿ ਬਾਲੀਯ ॥
sundar roop mahaa dut baaleey |(Those) women were of great form and brightness.
