ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕੀ ਰੀਤਿ ਕਰੀ ਉਨ ਸੋ ਟਸਕ੍ਯੋ ਨ ਹੀਯੋ ਕਸਕ੍ਯੋ ਨ ਕਸਾਈ ॥੯੨੪॥
preet kee reet karee un so ttasakayo na heeyo kasakayo na kasaaee |924|That Krishna has extended his love to the residents of that city and in doing so, no pain has arisen in his heart.924.
ਫਾਗੁਨ ਫਾਗੁ ਬਢਿਯੋ ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਸੁਹਾਗਨਿ ਭਾਗ ਸੁਹਾਗ ਸੁਹਾਈ ॥
faagun faag badtiyo anuraag suhaagan bhaag suhaag suhaaee |In the month of Phalgun, the love for playing Holi has increased in the mind of married women
ਕੇਸਰ ਚੀਰ ਬਨਾਇ ਸਰੀਰ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਅੰਬੀਰ ਗੁਲਾਲ ਉਡਾਈ ॥
kesar cheer banaae sareer gulaab anbeer gulaal uddaaee |They have worn the red garments and have begun to bleach others with the colours
ਸੋ ਛਬਿ ਮੈ ਨ ਲਖੀ ਜਨੁ ਦ੍ਵਾਦਸ ਮਾਸ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਤ ਆਗਿ ਜਗਾਈ ॥
so chhab mai na lakhee jan dvaadas maas kee sobhat aag jagaaee |I have not seen the beautiful spectacle of these twelve months and my mind is burning to see that spectacle
ਆਸ ਕੋ ਤ੍ਯਾਗਿ ਨਿਰਾਸ ਭਈ ਟਸਕ੍ਯੋ ਨ ਹੀਯੋ ਕਸਕ੍ਯੋ ਨ ਕਸਾਈ ॥੯੨੫॥
aas ko tayaag niraas bhee ttasakayo na heeyo kasakayo na kasaaee |925|I have abandoned all hopes and have become disappointed, but in the heart of that butcher, no pang or pain has arisen.925.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕੇ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਾਵਤਾਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਹ ਨਾਟਕ ਬਾਰਹਮਾਹ ਸੰਪੂਰਨਮ ਸਤੁ ॥
eit sree bachitr naattake granthe krisanaavataare brih naattak baarahamaah sanpooranam sat |End of the description of the spectacle depicting pangs of separation in twelve months in Krishnavatara in Bachittar Natak.
ਗੋਪਿਨ ਬਾਚ ਆਪਸ ਮੈ ॥
gopin baach aapas mai |Speech of gopis with one another:
ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥
savaiyaa |SWAYYA
ਯਾ ਹੀ ਕੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੁਨੋ ਮਿਲ ਕੈ ਹਮ ਕੁੰਜ ਗਲੀਨ ਮੈ ਖੇਲ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥
yaa hee ke sang suno mil kai ham kunj galeen mai khel machaayo |O friend! listen, with the same Krishna we have been absorbed in the much-publicised amorous play in the alcoves
ਗਾਵਤ ਭਯੋ ਸੋਊ ਠਉਰ ਤਹਾ ਹਮ ਹੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੈ ਤਹ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਯੋ ॥
gaavat bhayo soaoo tthaur tahaa ham hoon mil kai tah mangal gaayo |Wherever he used to sing, we also sang songs of praise with him
ਸੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਤ੍ਯਾਗਿ ਗਯੋ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਇਨ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨ ਤੇ ਮਨੂਆ ਉਚਟਾਯੋ ॥
so brij tayaag gayo mathuraa in gvaaran te manooaa uchattaayo |The mind of that Krishna has become inattentive towards these gopis and having relinquished Braja, he has gone to Matura
ਯੌ ਕਹਿ ਊਧਵ ਸੋ ਤਿਨ ਟੇਰਿ ਹਹਾ ਹਮਰੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਨ ਆਯੋ ॥੯੨੬॥
yau keh aoodhav so tin tter hahaa hamare grihi sayaam na aayo |926|They said all these things, looking towards Udhava and also said regretting that Krishna had not come to their homes again.926.
ਗੋਪਿਨ ਬਾਚ ਊਧਵ ਸੋ ॥
gopin baach aoodhav so |Speech of gopis addressed to Udhava:
ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥
savaiyaa |SWAYYA
ਏਕ ਸਮੈ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਸੁਨਿ ਊਧਵ ਕੁੰਜਨ ਮੈ ਫਿਰੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਲੀਯੇ ॥
ek samai ham ko sun aoodhav kunjan mai firai sang leeye |“O Udhava! there was a time when Krishna used to take us alongwith him and roamed in the alvoces
ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਹਿਤ ਸਾਥ ਘਨੇ ਹਮ ਪੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੀਯੇ ॥
har joo at hee hit saath ghane ham pai at hee kahiyo prem keeye |He gave profound love to us
ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਬਸਿ ਗਯੋ ਹਮਰੋ ਮਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਭਯੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਰਿ ਹੀਯੇ ॥
tin ke bas gayo hamaro man hvai at hee sukh bhayo brij naar heeye |“Our mind was under the control of that Krishna and all the women of Braja were in extreme comfort
ਅਬ ਸੋ ਤਜਿ ਕੈ ਮਥਰਾ ਕੋ ਗਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਕੇ ਬਿਛੁਰੇ ਫਲੁ ਕਵਨ ਜੀਯੇ ॥੯੨੭॥
ab so taj kai matharaa ko gayo tih ke bichhure fal kavan jeeye |927|Now the same Krishna has abandoned us and gone to Matura, how can we survive without that Krishna?”927.
ਕਬਿਯੋ ਬਾਚ ॥
kabiyo baach |Speech of the Poet:
ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥
savaiyaa |SWAYYA
ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿ ਪੈ ਜਿਤਨੀ ਫੁਨਿ ਊਧਵ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਤ ਬਖਾਨੀ ॥
gvaaran pai jitanee fun aoodhav sayaam kahai har baat bakhaanee |Udhava talked to the gopis all the things about Krishna
ਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਕੋ ਉਤਰ ਦੇਤ ਭਈ ਨਹਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਚਿਤਾਰ ਸਭੇ ਉਚਰਾਨੀ ॥
gayaan ko utar det bhee neh prem chitaar sabhe ucharaanee |They did not say anything in respone to his words of wisdom and only uttered their language of love:
ਜਾਹੀ ਕੇ ਦੇਖਤ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਤ ਸਖੀ ਜਿਹ ਕੇ ਬਿਨੁ ਪੀਤ ਨ ਪਾਨੀ ॥
jaahee ke dekhat bhojan khaat sakhee jih ke bin peet na paanee |
ਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਕੀ ਜੋ ਇਨ ਬਾਤ ਕਹੀ ਤਿਨ ਹੂੰ ਹਿਤ ਸੋ ਕਰਿ ਏਕ ਨ ਜਾਨੀ ॥੯੨੮॥
gayaan kee jo in baat kahee tin hoon hit so kar ek na jaanee |928|Krishna, seeing whom, they used to take their meals and did not even drink water without him, whatever Udhava said to them about him in his wisdom, the gopis did not accept anything.928.
