ਮੁਨਿ ਨਾਰਦ ਕਹੂੰ ਬੇਨੁ ਬਜਾਵੈ ॥
mun naarad kahoon ben bajaavai |Somewhere Narada Muni was playing the bean
ਕਹੂੰ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਡਮਰੂ ਡਮਕਾਵੈ ॥
kahoon rudr ddamaroo ddamakaavai |And somewhere Rudra Damru was blazing.
ਰੁਧਿਰ ਖਪਰ ਜੁਗਿਨ ਭਰਿ ਭਾਰੀ ॥
rudhir khapar jugin bhar bhaaree |(Somewhere) the Jogans had big foreheads full of blood
ਮਾਰਹਿ ਭੂਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਕਿਲਕਾਰੀ ॥੩੨॥
maareh bhoot pret kilakaaree |32|And (somewhere) ghosts and ghosts were screaming. 32.
ਰਨ ਅਗੰਮ ਕੋਊ ਜਾਨ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
ran agam koaoo jaan na paavai |No one was understanding the coming war

jaanuk dhujaa kaal kee lahakai |33|(It seemed) as if the flag of time was waving. 33.
ਹਸਤ ਪਾਰਬਤੀ ਨੈਨ ਬਿਸਾਲਾ ॥
hasat paarabatee nain bisaalaa |Parbati with big eyes was laughing
ਨਾਚਤ ਭੂਪ ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਬੈਤਾਲਾ ॥
naachat bhoop pret baitaalaa |And ghosts, ghosts and ghosts were dancing.
ਕਹ ਕਹਾਟ ਕਹੂੰ ਕਾਲ ਸੁਨਾਵੈ ॥

ketin maar maar kar boleh |And how many were shouting 'Maro-Maro'.
ਕਿਤੇ ਤਮਕਿ ਰਨ ਤੁਰੈ ਨਚਾਵੈ ॥
kite tamak ran turai nachaavai |How angry the horses were dancing
ਜੂਝਿ ਕਿਤਕ ਜਮ ਲੋਕ ਸਿਧਾਵੈ ॥੩੫॥
joojh kitak jam lok sidhaavai |35|And how much Yama-Loka had been reformed by fighting. 35.
ਕਟਿ ਕਟਿ ਪਰੇ ਸੁਭਟ ਛਿਤ ਭਾਰੇ ॥
katt katt pare subhatt chhit bhaare |Many big heroes were cut and fell on the ground
ਭੂਪ ਸੁਤਾ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਪਛਾਰੇ ॥
bhoop sutaa kar kop pachhaare |And (many) were overtaken by Raja Kumari in anger.
ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਪਰੀ ਹਾਥ ਨਹਿ ਪ੍ਯਾਰੀ ॥
jin ke paree haath neh payaaree |Whose hands did not get Raj Kumari,
ਬਿਨੁ ਮਾਰੇ ਹਨਿ ਮਰੇ ਕਟਾਰੀ ॥੩੬॥
bin maare han mare kattaaree |36|They died by stabbing without being killed. 36.

ਮੋੜਤੇਸ ਅੰਬੇਰ ਪਤਿ ਅਮਿਤ ਸੈਨ ਲੈ ਸਾਥ ॥

ਬਾਲ ਨਿਮਿਤਿ ਆਵਤ ਭਏ ਗਹੇ ਬਰਛਿਯੈ ਹਾਥ ॥੩੭॥

ਬਿਕਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਅੰਬੇਰ ਪਤਿ ਅਮਿਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਮ ॥
bikatt singh anber pat amitt singh tih naam |(Name of the king of Morta) Bikat Singh and the name of the king of Amer was Amit Singh.
ਕਬਹੂੰ ਦਈ ਨ ਪੀਠ ਰਨ ਜੀਤੇ ਬਹੁ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮ ॥੩੮॥

ਰਾਜ ਸੁਤਾ ਜਬ ਨੈਨ ਨਿਹਾਰੇ ॥
raaj sutaa jab nain nihaare |When Raj Kumari saw them with her eyes
ਸੈਨਾ ਸਹਿਤ ਮਾਰ ਹੀ ਡਾਰੇ ॥੩੯॥
sainaa sahit maar hee ddaare |39|So he killed them along with the army. 39.
ਜਬ ਅਬਲਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਦੋਊ ਸੰਘਾਰੇ ॥
jab abalaa nrip doaoo sanghaare |When Raj Kumari killed both the kings,
ਠਟਕੇ ਸੁਭਟ ਸਕਲ ਤਬ ਭਾਰੇ ॥
tthattake subhatt sakal tab bhaare |Then all the great kings stood silent.
ਖੇਤ ਛਾਡਿ ਯਹ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਨ ਟਰਿਹੈ ॥
khet chhaadd yah tarun na ttarihai |(He began to think in his mind) that this Raj Kumari will not leave the battlefield
ਸਭਹਿਨ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਨ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਰਿ ਹੈ ॥੪੦॥
sabhahin ko praanan bin kar hai |40|And will make everyone without souls. 40.
ਬੂੰਦੀ ਨਾਥ ਰਣੁਤ ਕਟ ਧਾਯੋ ॥
boondee naath ranut katt dhaayo |King Ranut of Bundi (princely state) died
ਅਧਿਕ ਮਦੁਤ ਕਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਿਸਾਯੋ ॥
adhik madut katt singh risaayo |And Madut Kat Singh also became very angry.
ਨਾਥ ਉਜੈਨ ਜਿਸੇ ਜਗ ਕਹਈ ॥
naath ujain jise jag kahee |Whom people called the King of Ujjain,
ਵਾ ਕਹਿ ਜੀਤੈ ਜਗ ਕੋ ਰਹਈ ॥੪੧॥
vaa keh jeetai jag ko rahee |41|Who could live in the world without him. 41.
ਜਬ ਅਬਲਾ ਆਵਤ ਵਹੁ ਲਹੇ ॥
jab abalaa aavat vahu lahe |When Raj Kumari saw them coming
ਹਾਥ ਹਥਯਾਰ ਆਪਨੇ ਗਹੇ ॥
haath hathayaar aapane gahe |(So he) took weapons in his hands.
ਅਧਿਕ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਿ ਕੁਵਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥
adhik kop kar kuvat prahaare |(Raj Kumari) became very angry and drove forcefully ('Kuvati').
ਛਿਨਿਕ ਬਿਖੈ ਦਲ ਸਹਿਤ ਸੰਘਾਰੇ ॥੪੨॥
chhinik bikhai dal sahit sanghaare |42|And killed (them) with the party in a matter of seconds. 42.
ਗੰਗਾਦ੍ਰੀ ਜਮੁਨਾਦ੍ਰੀ ਹਠੇ ॥
gangaadree jamunaadree hatthe |The hill kings of the Ganges and the kings living in the mountains of the Yamuna
ਸਾਰਸ੍ਵਤੀ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਚਲੇ ਇਕਠੇ ॥
saarasvatee hvai chale ikatthe |And the kings of Saraswati have stubbornly gathered together.
ਸਤੁਦ੍ਰਵਾਦਿ ਅਤਿ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਪਗ ਰੋਪੇ ॥
satudravaad at drirr pag rope |The kings of Sutlej and Beas etc. set their feet
ਬ੍ਰਯਾਹਾਦ੍ਰੀ ਸਿਗਰੇ ਮਿਲਿ ਕੋਪੇ ॥੪੩॥

ਪਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੂਰੋ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੁਰ ਗ੍ਯਾਨ ॥
param singh pooro purakh karam singh sur gayaan |Param Singh was a perfect man and Karam Singh was as knowledgeable as the gods.
ਧਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਾਠੋ ਹਠੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਜੁਧ ਕੀ ਖਾਨ ॥੪੪॥
dharam singh haattho hatthee amit judh kee khaan |44|Dharam Singh was very stubborn and Amit was a food for war. 44.
ਅਮਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਰੁ ਅਚਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਕੋਪ ਬਢਾਇ ॥
amar singh ar achal singh man mai kop badtaae |Amar Singh and Achal Singh were very angry.
ਪਾਚੌ ਭੂਪ ਪਹਾਰਿਯੈ ਸਨਮੁਖਿ ਪਹੁਚੇ ਆਇ ॥੪੫॥
paachau bhoop pahaariyai sanamukh pahuche aae |45|These five mountain kings (to fight with Raj Kumari) came forward. 45.

ਪਰਬਤੀਸ ਪਾਚੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਧਾਏ ॥
parabatees paacho nrip dhaae |The five mountain kings set out (for war).
ਖਸੀਯਾ ਅਧਿਕ ਸੰਗ ਲੈ ਆਏ ॥
khaseeyaa adhik sang lai aae |Many brought with them goats.
ਪਾਹਨ ਬ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਿ ਕਰੀ ॥
paahan brisatt kop kar karee |They pelted stones angrily
ਮਾਰਿ ਮਾਰਿ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਉਚਰੀ ॥੪੬॥
maar maar mukh te ucharee |46|And pronounced 'Maro Maro' from the mouth. 46.
ਦੁੰਦਭ ਢੋਲ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਦਿਸਿ ਬਾਜੇ ॥
dundabh dtol duhoon dis baaje |Drums and bells are played on both sides
ਸਾਜੇ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਗਾਜੇ ॥
saaje sasatr sooramaa gaaje |And the armor-clad warriors went forth.
ਕੁਪਿ ਕੁਪਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਹ੍ਰਿਦਨ ਮੈ ਲਰੇ ॥
kup kup adhik hridan mai lare |They fought with anger in their hearts
ਕਟਿ ਕਟਿ ਮਰੇ ਬਰੰਗਨਿ ਬਰੇ ॥੪੭॥
katt katt mare barangan bare |47|And cut and cut the dying Apacharas. 47.
ਭੂਪ ਪਾਚਉ ਬਾਨ ਚਲਾਵੈਂ ॥
bhoop paachau baan chalaavain |The five kings were shooting arrows
ਬਾਧੇ ਗੋਲ ਸਾਮੁਹੇ ਆਵੈਂ ॥
baadhe gol saamuhe aavain |And they were coming forward in a circle.
ਤਬ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥
tab bachitr de sasatr prahaare |Then Bachitra Dei struck weapons
ਛਿਨਿਕ ਬਿਖੈ ਸਕਲੇ ਹਨਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥੪੮॥
chhinik bikhai sakale han ddaare |48|And they all shot in a blink of an eye. 48.
ਦੇਇ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਾਚ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
dee bachitr paach nrip maare |Bachitra Dei killed five kings
ਔਰ ਸੁਭਟ ਚੁਨਿ ਚੁਨਿ ਹਨਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥
aauar subhatt chun chun han ddaare |And more heroes were chosen and given.
ਸਾਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਵਰੈ ਤਬ ਚਲੇ ॥
saat nripat avarai tab chale |Then the seven kings went further
ਜੋਧਾ ਜੋਰ ਜੁਧ ਕਰਿ ਭਲੇ ॥੪੯॥
jodhaa jor judh kar bhale |49|Who were very powerful in war. 49.
ਕਾਸਿ ਰਾਜ ਮਘਧੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੋਪੇ ॥
kaas raaj maghadhesvar kope |The kings of Kashi and Magadha were enraged and
ਅੰਗ ਬੰਗ ਰਾਜਨ ਪਗ ਰੋਪੇ ॥
ang bang raajan pag rope |The kings of Ang and Bang (Bengal) took their feet.
ਔਰ ਕੁਲਿੰਗ ਦੇਸ ਪਤਿ ਧਾਯੋ ॥
aauar kuling des pat dhaayo |Apart from this, the king of Kuling country also walked
ਤ੍ਰਿਗਤਿ ਦੇਸ ਏਸ੍ਵਰ ਹੂੰ ਆਯੋ ॥੫੦॥
