ਸਰਕਿ ਸੇਲ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਮਟਿਕ ਬਾਜ ਸੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥
sarak sel sooramaa mattik baaj sutt hai |Surma swings the spear (forward) and drives away the horse.
ਅਮੰਡ ਮੰਡਲੀਕ ਸੇ ਅਫੁਟ ਸੂਰ ਫੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥
amandd manddaleek se afutt soor futt hai |Riding enthusiastically on horses, the warriors will throw the pike immediately and will chop down the infinitely glorious warriors
ਸੁ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਮ ਸੂਰ ਕੋ ਬਿਸੇਖ ਭੂਪ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
su prem naam soor ko bisekh bhoop jaaneeai |O king of that warrior named 'Love'! A special form is known.
ਸੁ ਸਾਖ ਤਾਸ ਕੀ ਸਦਾ ਤਿਹੂੰਨ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥੨੫੩॥
su saakh taas kee sadaa tihoon lok maaneeai |253|O king! the warriors named Prem (love) is a significant fighter, whose greatness is known in all the there worlds.26.253.
ਅਨੂਪ ਰੂਪ ਭਾਨ ਸੋ ਅਭੂਤ ਰੂਪ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥
anoop roop bhaan so abhoot roop maaneeai |(Whose) incomparable form is like the sun, he is considered to be a form without elements.
ਸੰਜੋਗ ਨਾਮ ਸਤ੍ਰੁਹਾ ਸੁ ਬੀਰ ਤਾਸੁ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
sanjog naam satruhaa su beer taas jaaneeai |This warrior of sun-like unique beauty, the killer of enemies, is known by the name of Sanjog (coherence)
ਸੁ ਸਾਤਿ ਨਾਮ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਏਕ ਬੋਲੀਐ ॥
su saat naam sooramaa su aaur ek boleeai |Another hero named 'Santi' is said to be,
ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਜਾਸ ਕੋ ਸਦਾ ਸੁ ਸਰਬ ਲੋਗ ਤੋਲੀਐ ॥੨੫੪॥
prataap jaas ko sadaa su sarab log toleeai |254|There is also another warriors named Shaani (peace), whom all the people recognize as glorious and powerful.27.254.
ਅਖੰਡ ਮੰਡਲੀਕ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਰੂਪ ਦੇਖੀਐ ॥
akhandd manddaleek so prachandd roop dekheeai |(Whose) form is seen as mighty as the unbroken king ('mandalik').
ਸੁ ਕੋਪ ਸੁਧ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੀ ਸਮਾਨ ਸੂਰ ਪੇਖੀਐ ॥
su kop sudh singh kee samaan soor pekheeai |This warrior of indivisible and powerful beauty looks highly infuriated like a lion
ਸੁ ਪਾਠ ਨਾਮ ਤਾਸ ਕੋ ਅਠਾਟ ਤਾਸੁ ਭਾਖੀਐ ॥
su paatth naam taas ko atthaatt taas bhaakheeai |His name is Supaath (good religious study)
ਭਜ੍ਯੋ ਨ ਜੁਧ ਤੇ ਕਹੂੰ ਨਿਸੇਸ ਸੂਰ ਸਾਖੀਐ ॥੨੫੫॥
bhajayo na judh te kahoon nises soor saakheeai |255|Both Surya and Chandra are a witness to it hat he never runs away from war.28.255.
ਸੁਕਰਮ ਨਾਮ ਏਕ ਕੋ ਸੁਸਿਛ ਦੂਜ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
sukaram naam ek ko susichh dooj jaaneeai |One is known as 'Karma' and the other is known as 'Sichh'.
ਅਭਿਜ ਮੰਡਲੀਕ ਸੋ ਅਛਿਜ ਤੇਜ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥
abhij manddaleek so achhij tej maaneeai |He has one disciple, who is known by the name Sukran (good action) and is considered a warrior of indestructible brilliance in the whole universe
ਸੁ ਕੋਪ ਸੂਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜ੍ਯੋਂ ਘਟਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਜੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥
su kop soor singh jayon ghattaa samaan jutt hai |They rage like a mighty lion and join (in battle) like the weak.
ਦੁਰੰਤ ਬਾਜ ਬਾਜਿ ਹੈ ਅਨੰਤ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਛੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥੨੫੬॥
durant baaj baaj hai anant sasatr chhutt hai |256|When that warrior in his fury, thundering like the lion and clouds, will fall upon the enemy, then the dreadful musical instruments will be played and many weapons will strike the blows.29.256.
ਸੁ ਜਗਿ ਨਾਮ ਏਕ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਬੋਧ ਅਉਰ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥
su jag naam ek ko prabodh aaur maaneeai |One warrior's name is 'Jag' and the other's (name) is considered to be 'Enlightenment'.
ਸੁ ਦਾਨ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਹਠੀ ਅਖੰਡ ਤਾਸੁ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
su daan teesaraa hatthee akhandd taas jaaneeai |There is another warriors Suyang (good Yajna), the second is Prabodh (knowledge) and the third warrior is Daan (Charity), who is indivisible persistent
ਸੁ ਨੇਮ ਨਾਮ ਅਉਰ ਹੈ ਅਖੰਡ ਤਾਸੁ ਭਾਖੀਐ ॥
su nem naam aaur hai akhandd taas bhaakheeai |There is another warrior named Suniyam (good principle), who has conquered the whole world
ਜਗਤ ਜਾਸੁ ਜੀਤਿਆ ਜਹਾਨ ਭਾਨੁ ਸਾਖੀਐ ॥੨੫੭॥
jagat jaas jeetiaa jahaan bhaan saakheeai |257|The whole universe and the sun are its witnesses.30.257.
ਸੁ ਸਤੁ ਨਾਮ ਏਕ ਕੋ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਅਉਰ ਬੋਲੀਐ ॥
su sat naam ek ko santokh aaur boleeai |There is another warrior Susatya (truth) and another one is Santokh (contentment)
ਸੁ ਤਪੁ ਨਾਮ ਤੀਸਰੋ ਦਸੰਤ੍ਰ ਜਾਸੁ ਛੋਲੀਐ ॥
su tap naam teesaro dasantr jaas chholeeai |The third one is Tapsaya (austerity), who has subjugated all the ten directions
ਸੁ ਜਾਪੁ ਨਾਮ ਏਕ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਆਜ ਤਾਸ ਕੋ ॥
su jaap naam ek ko prataap aaj taas ko |Another glorious warrior is Japa (repetition of the name).,
ਅਨੇਕ ਜੁਧ ਜੀਤਿ ਕੈ ਬਰਿਯੋ ਜਿਨੈ ਨਿਰਾਸ ਕੋ ॥੨੫੮॥
anek judh jeet kai bariyo jinai niraas ko |258|Who after conquering many wars has assumed detachment.31.258.
ਛਪੈ ਛੰਦ ॥
chhapai chhand |CHHAPAI STANZA
ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਬਲਵੰਡ ਨੇਮ ਨਾਮਾ ਇਕ ਅਤਿ ਭਟ ॥
at prachandd balavandd nem naamaa ik at bhatt |There is a warrior named 'Nem' who is very powerful.
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਮ ਦੂਸਰੋ ਸੂਰ ਬੀਰਾਰਿ ਰਣੋਤਕਟ ॥
prem naam doosaro soor beeraar ranotakatt |An extremely powerful and potent warrior is named Niyam (principle) the second warrior is Prem (love),
ਸੰਜਮ ਏਕ ਬਲਿਸਟਿ ਧੀਰ ਨਾਮਾ ਚਤੁਰਥ ਗਨਿ ॥
sanjam ek balisatt dheer naamaa chaturath gan |Third one is Snjam (restraint) and the fourth one is Dhairya (patience)
ਪ੍ਰਾਣਯਾਮ ਪੰਚਵੋ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਮਾ ਖਸਟਮ ਭਨਿ ॥
praanayaam panchavo dhiaan naamaa khasattam bhan |And the sixth one is Panayama (regulation of breath) and the sixth one is called Dhyan (meditation)
ਜੋਧਾ ਅਪਾਰ ਅਨਖੰਡ ਸਤਿ ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਤਿਹ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥
jodhaa apaar anakhandd sat at prataap tih maaneeai |This great warriors is considered extremely truthful and gloruiou,
ਸੁਰ ਅਸੁਰ ਨਾਗ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਧਰਮ ਨਾਮ ਜਵਨ ਕੋ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥੨੫੯॥
sur asur naag gandhrab dharam naam javan ko jaaneeai |259|He is also known by the name Dharma (duty) by the gods, demons, Nagas, and Gandharvas.32.259.
ਸੁਭਾਚਾਰ ਜਿਹ ਨਾਮ ਸਬਲ ਦੂਸਰ ਅਨੁਮਾਨੋ ॥
subhaachaar jih naam sabal doosar anumaano |Shubh Acharan (good character) is considered the second warrior
ਬਿਕ੍ਰਮ ਤੀਸਰੋ ਸੁਭਟ ਬੁਧਿ ਚਤੁਰਥ ਜੀਅ ਜਾਨੋ ॥
bikram teesaro subhatt budh chaturath jeea jaano |The third warrior is Vikram (Bravery) and the fourth one is mighty Buddh (intellect)
ਪੰਚਮ ਅਨੁਰਕਤਤਾ ਛਠਮ ਸਾਮਾਧ ਅਭੈ ਭਟ ॥
pancham anurakatataa chhattham saamaadh abhai bhatt |The fifth one is Anuraktata (attachment) and the sixth warrior is Samadhi (contemplaton)
ਉਦਮ ਅਰੁ ਉਪਕਾਰ ਅਮਿਟ ਅਨਜੀਤ ਅਨਾਕਟ ॥
audam ar upakaar amitt anajeet anaakatt |Uddam (effort), Upakaar (benevolence) etc. are also unconquerable, invincible and ineffaceable
ਜਿਹ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਤਜਿ ਆਸਨਨਿ ਬਿਮਨ ਚਿਤ ਭਾਜਤ ਤਵਨ ॥
jih nirakh satru taj aasanan biman chit bhaajat tavan |Seeing them, the enemies forsake their seat and run away, while deviating from their position
ਬਲਿ ਟਾਰਿ ਹਾਰਿ ਆਹਵ ਹਠੀ ਅਠਟ ਠਾਟ ਭੁਲਤ ਗਵਨ ॥੨੬੦॥
bal ttaar haar aahav hatthee atthatt tthaatt bhulat gavan |260|The glory of these mighty warrior is spread all over the earth.33.260.
ਤੋਮਰ ਛੰਦ ॥
tomar chhand |TOMAR STANZA
ਸੁ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਹੈ ਭਟ ਏਕ ॥
su bichaar hai bhatt ek |There is a hero called 'Bichar',
ਗੁਨ ਬੀਚ ਜਾਸੁ ਅਨੇਕ ॥
gun beech jaas anek |There is a warrior named Suvichar (good thought), who has many qualities
ਸੰਜੋਗ ਹੈ ਇਕ ਅਉਰ ॥
sanjog hai ik aaur |Another (surma) is the 'conjunction',
ਜਿਨਿ ਜੀਤਿਆ ਪਤਿ ਗਉਰ ॥੨੬੧॥
jin jeetiaa pat gaur |261|There is another warriors named Sanjog (coherence), who had even conquered Shiva.34.261.
ਇਕ ਹੋਮ ਨਾਮ ਸੁ ਬੀਰ ॥
eik hom naam su beer |There is a warrior named 'Home'
ਅਰਿ ਕੀਨ ਜਾਸੁ ਅਧੀਰ ॥
ar keen jaas adheer |There is one warrior named Hom (sacrifice), who has made the enemies impatient
ਪੂਜਾ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
poojaa su aaur bakhaan |Another named 'Pooja' (warrior) is called,
ਜਿਹ ਸੋ ਨ ਪਉਰਖੁ ਆਨਿ ॥੨੬੨॥
jih so na paurakh aan |262|Another one is Pooja (worship), who is unequalled in courage by anyone.35.262.
ਅਨੁਰਕਤਤਾ ਇਕ ਅਉਰ ॥
anurakatataa ik aaur |Another is 'Anurukatta' (named hero),
ਸਭ ਸੁਭਟ ਕੋ ਸਿਰ ਮਉਰ ॥
sabh subhatt ko sir maur |The chief of all the warriors is Anuraktita
