ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਨ ਪੈ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਉਹ ਕੇ ਢਿਗ ਹਉ ਚਲਿ ਜੈਹੋ ॥
har paaein pai ih bhaat kahiyo har joo uh ke dtig hau chal jaiho |
ਜਾ ਹੀ ਉਪਾਵ ਤੇ ਆਇ ਹੈ ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਤਾਹੀ ਉਪਾਇ ਮਨਾਇ ਲਿਯੈ ਹੋ ॥
jaa hee upaav te aae hai sundar taahee upaae manaae liyai ho |Standing near Krishna, Mainprabha said, “I shall go myself to her and with whatever means she comes, I shall persuade and bring her
ਪਾਇਨ ਪੈ ਬਿਨਤੀਅਨ ਕੈ ਰਿਝਵਾਇ ਕੈ ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿ ਮਨੈਹੋ ॥
paaein pai binateean kai rijhavaae kai sundar gvaar manaiho |“I shall get the assent of that winsome gopi, either by falling at her feet, or by request or getting her pleased
ਆਜ ਹੀ ਤੋ ਢਿਗ ਆਨਿ ਮਿਲੈਹੋ ਜੂ ਲ੍ਯਾਏ ਬਿਨਾ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਨ ਕਹੈ ਹੋ ॥੬੯੫॥
aaj hee to dtig aan milaiho joo layaae binaa tumaree na kahai ho |695|I shall bring her to you even today, otherwise I shall not be called yours.”695.
ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਨ ਪੈ ਤਿਹ ਠਉਰ ਚਲੀ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਫੁਨਿ ਮੈਨਪ੍ਰਭਾ ॥
har paaein pai tih tthaur chalee kab sayaam kahai fun mainaprabhaa |Getting up from near Krishna, Mainprabha started
ਜਿਹ ਕੇ ਨਹੀ ਤੁਲਿ ਮੰਦੋਦਰਿ ਹੈ ਜਿਹ ਤੁਲ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਾ ਨਹੀ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਸਭਾ ॥
jih ke nahee tul mandodar hai jih tul treeyaa nahee indr sabhaa |Mandodari does not equal her in beauty and none the damsels of the court of Indra, has any charm before her
ਜਿਹ ਕੋ ਮੁਖ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰਾਜਤ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਲਸੈ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਾ ਵਾ ਕੀ ਅਭਾ ॥
jih ko mukh sundar raajat hai ih bhaat lasai treeyaa vaa kee abhaa |
ਮਨੋ ਚੰਦ ਕੁਰੰਗਨ ਕੇਹਰ ਕੀਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਕੋ ਸਭੋ ਧਨ ਯਾਹਿ ਲਭਾ ॥੬੯੬॥
mano chand kurangan kehar keer prabhaa ko sabho dhan yaeh labhaa |696|The glory of this woman’s charming face appears like this that the moon, deer, lion and parrot have borrowed their wealth of beauty from her.696.

ਚਲਿ ਚੰਦਮੁਖੀ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਢਿਗ ਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਖਭਾਨ ਸੁਤਾ ਪਹਿ ਪੈ ਚਲਿ ਆਈ ॥
chal chandamukhee har ke dtig te brikhabhaan sutaa peh pai chal aaee |That moon-faced gopi, leaving Krishna, reached near Radha
ਆਇ ਕੈ ਐਸੇ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਸੋ ਬਲ ਬੇਗ ਚਲੋ ਨੰਦ ਲਾਲ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥
aae kai aaise kahiyo tih so bal beg chalo nand laal bulaaee |She said on coming, “Go quickly, the son Nand has called you.
ਮੈ ਨ ਚਲੋ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਸ ਹਹਾ ਚਲੁ ਐਸੇ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਨ ਕਰੋ ਦੁਚਿਤਾਈ ॥
mai na chalo har paas hahaa chal aaise kahiyo na karo duchitaaee |
ਕਾਹੇ ਕੋ ਬੈਠ ਰਹੀ ਇਹ ਠਉਰ ਮੈ ਮੋਹਨ ਕੋ ਮਨੋ ਚਿਤੁ ਚੁਰਾਈ ॥੬੯੭॥
kaahe ko baitth rahee ih tthaur mai mohan ko mano chit churaaee |697|“Why did you say that you would not go to Krishna? Leave this duality. Why are you sitting at this place on stealing the heart of charming Krishna?”697.
ਜਾਹਿ ਘੋਰ ਘਟਾ ਘਟ ਆਏ ਘਨੇ ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰਨ ਮੈ ਜਹ ਮੋਰ ਪੁਕਾਰੈ ॥
jaeh ghor ghattaa ghatt aae ghane chahoon oran mai jah mor pukaarai |
ਨਾਚਤ ਹੈ ਜਹ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨੀਯਾ ਤਿਹ ਪੇਖਿ ਘਨੇ ਬਿਰਹੀ ਤਨ ਵਾਰੈ ॥
naachat hai jah gvaaraneeyaa tih pekh ghane birahee tan vaarai |“When the thundering clouds spread, the peacocks shout on all the four sides, the gopis dance and the love-sick people offer themselves as sacrifice,
ਤਉਨ ਸਮੈ ਜਦੁਰਾਇ ਸੁਨੋ ਮੁਰਲੀ ਕੇ ਬਜਾਇ ਕੈ ਤੋਹਿ ਚਿਤਾਰੈ ॥
taun samai jaduraae suno muralee ke bajaae kai tohi chitaarai |“At that time, O friend! listen, Krishna, playing on his flute remembers you
ਤਾਹੀ ਤੇ ਬੇਗ ਚਲੋ ਸਜਨੀ ਤਿਹ ਕਉਤਕ ਕੋ ਹਮ ਜਾਇ ਨਿਹਾਰੈ ॥੬੯੮॥
taahee te beg chalo sajanee tih kautak ko ham jaae nihaarai |698|O friend! go quickly so that on reaching there we may be able to see the wonderful sport.”698.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਨ ਮਾਨ ਕਰੋ ਸਜਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਸ ਚਲੋ ਨਾਹਿ ਸੰਕ ਬਿਚਾਰੋ ॥
taa te na maan karo sajanee har paas chalo naeh sank bichaaro |“Therefore, O friend! forsaking you pride, abandon your doubts and go to Krishna
ਬਾਤ ਧਰੋ ਰਸ ਹੂੰ ਕੀ ਮਨੈ ਅਪਨੈ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਨ ਕਛੂ ਹਠ ਧਾਰੋ ॥
baat dharo ras hoon kee manai apanai man mai na kachhoo hatth dhaaro |Fill your mind with passion and do not involve yourself in persistence.”
ਕਉਤਕ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ੍ਰਹ ਕੋ ਦੇਖਨ ਕੋ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਜਸ ਪੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਉਚਾਰੋ ॥
kautak kaanrahrah ko dekhan ko tih ko jas pai kab sayaam uchaaro |The poet Shyam says that with out seeing the amorous sport of Krishna, why do you persist in sitting here?
ਕਾਹੇ ਕਉ ਬੈਠ ਰਹੀ ਹਠ ਕੈ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਦੇਖਨ ਕਉ ਉਮਗਿਯੋ ਮਨ ਸਾਰੋ ॥੬੯੯॥
kaahe kau baitth rahee hatth kai kahiyo dekhan kau umagiyo man saaro |699|My mind is eager to see his amorous sport.699.
ਹਰਿ ਪਾਸ ਨ ਮੈ ਚਲਹੋ ਸਜਨੀ ਪਿਖਬੇ ਕਹੁ ਕਉਤੁਕ ਜੀਯ ਨ ਮੇਰੋ ॥
har paas na mai chalaho sajanee pikhabe kahu kautuk jeey na mero |Radha said, “O friend! I shall not go to Krishna and I have no desire to see his amorous sport
ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਰਚੇ ਸੰਗ ਅਉਰ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਾ ਤਜ ਕੈ ਹਮ ਸੋ ਫੁਨਿ ਨੇਹ ਘਨੇਰੋ ॥
sayaam rache sang aaur treeyaa taj kai ham so fun neh ghanero |Krishna has forsaken his love with me and is absorbed in the love of other women
ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਹੂੰ ਕੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਨਹਿ ਨਾਰੀ ਕਹਾ ਮੁਹਿ ਨੈਨਨ ਹੇਰੋ ॥
chandrabhagaa hoon ke sang kahiyo neh naaree kahaa muhi nainan hero |“He is absorbed in love with Chandarbhaga and does not even see me with his eyes
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਨ ਪਾਸ ਚਲੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਉ ਉਠਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਜੋਊ ਉਮਗਿਯੋ ਮਨ ਤੇਰੋ ॥੭੦੦॥
taa te na paas chalo har hau utth jaeh joaoo umagiyo man tero |700|Therefore inspite of the upthrust of your mind, I shall not go to Krishna.”700.

ਮੈ ਕਹਾ ਦੇਖਨ ਜਾਉ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਾ ਤੁਹਿ ਲ੍ਯਾਵਨ ਕੋ ਜਦੁਰਾਇ ਪਠਾਈ ॥
mai kahaa dekhan jaau treeyaa tuhi layaavan ko jaduraae patthaaee |“Why should I go to see the women? Krishna has sent me to bring you
ਤਾਹੀ ਤੇ ਹਉ ਸਭ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿ ਤੇ ਉਠ ਕੈ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਪਹਿ ਆਈ ॥
taahee te hau sabh gvaaran te utth kai tab hee tumare peh aaee |Therefore, I, keeping away from all the gopis, have come to you
ਤੂ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਕੈ ਬੈਠ ਰਹੀ ਨਹੀ ਮਾਨਤ ਹੈ ਕਛੂ ਸੀਖ ਪਰਾਈ ॥
too abhimaan kai baitth rahee nahee maanat hai kachhoo seekh paraaee |“You are sitting here in vanity and do not listen to the advice of anyone
ਬੇਗ ਚਲੋ ਤੁਹਿ ਸੰਗ ਕਹੋ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਮਗੁ ਹੇਰਤ ਠਾਢਿ ਕਨ੍ਰਹਾਈ ॥੭੦੧॥
beg chalo tuhi sang kaho tumare mag herat tthaadt kanrahaaee |701|Go quickly, because Krishna will be waiting for you.”701.
ਰਾਧੇ ਬਾਚ ॥

ਸਵੈਯਾ ॥

ਹਰਿ ਪਾਸ ਨ ਮੈ ਚਲਹੋ ਰੀ ਸਖੀ ਤੁ ਕਹਾ ਭਯੋ ਜੁ ਤੁਹਿ ਬਾਤ ਬਨਾਈ ॥
har paas na mai chalaho ree sakhee tu kahaa bhayo ju tuhi baat banaaee |“O friend! I shall not go to Krishna why are you talking in vain?
ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਨ ਮੋਰੇ ਤੂ ਪਾਸ ਪਠੀ ਇਹ ਬਾਤਨ ਤੇ ਕਪਟੀ ਲਖਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
sayaam na more too paas patthee ih baatan te kapattee lakh paaee |Krishna has not sent you to me, because I feel an element of deceit in your talk
ਭੀ ਕਪਟੀ ਤੁ ਕਹਾ ਭਯੋ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿ ਤੂ ਨ ਲਖੈ ਕਛੁ ਪੀਰ ਪਰਾਈ ॥
bhee kapattee tu kahaa bhayo gvaaran too na lakhai kachh peer paraaee |“O gopi, you have become a cheat and do not feel another’s pain,” saying this, Radha sat down with bowed head
ਯੌ ਕਹਿ ਕੈ ਸਿਰ ਨ੍ਯਾਇ ਰਹੀ ਕਹਿ ਐਸੋ ਨ ਮਾਨ ਪਿਖਿਯੋ ਕਹੂੰ ਮਾਈ ॥੭੦੨॥
yau keh kai sir nayaae rahee keh aaiso na maan pikhiyo kahoon maaee |702|The poet say, “I have not seen such an ego at any other place.”702.
ਦੂਤੀ ਬਾਚ ॥

ਫਿਰਿ ਐਸੇ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਚਲੀਯੇ ਰੀ ਹਹਾ ਬਲ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਪਹਿ ਯੋ ਕਹਿ ਆਈ ॥
fir aaise kahiyo chaleeye ree hahaa bal mai har ke peh yo keh aaee |Then she said thus, “O friend! you go with me, I have come with a promise to Krishna
ਹੋਹੁ ਨ ਆਤੁਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਹਉ ਲ੍ਯਾਵਤ ਹੋ ਉਹਿ ਜਾਇ ਮਨਾਈ ॥
hohu na aatur sree brijanaath hau layaavat ho uhi jaae manaaee |While coming, I have said this to Krishna, ‘O, the Lord of Braja! do not feel perturbed, I shall go now and persuade and bring Radha with me,’
ਇਤ ਤੂ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨ ਰਹੀ ਸਜਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਪੈ ਤੁ ਚਲੋ ਤਜਿ ਕੈ ਦੁਚਿਤਾਈ ॥
eit too kar maan rahee sajanee har pai tu chalo taj kai duchitaaee |“But here you are sitting in your pride, O friend! you go to Krishna, leaving the duality,
ਤੋ ਬਿਨੁ ਮੋ ਪੈ ਨ ਜਾਤ ਗਯੋ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਜਾਨਤ ਹੈ ਕਛੁ ਬਾਤ ਪਰਾਈ ॥੭੦੩॥
to bin mo pai na jaat gayo kahiyo jaanat hai kachh baat paraaee |703|I shall not be able to go without you, reflect somewhat on another’s words.”703.

ਉਠ ਆਈ ਹੁਤੀ ਤੁ ਕਹਾ ਭਯੋ ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿ ਆਈ ਨ ਪੂਛਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਕਛੁ ਸੋਰੀ ॥
autth aaee hutee tu kahaa bhayo gvaaran aaee na poochh kahiyo kachh soree |“O gopi! why have you come without thinking? You should have come after consulting some magician
ਜਾਹਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਫਿਰਿ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਪੈ ਇਹ ਤੇ ਕਛੁ ਲਾਜ ਨ ਲਾਗਤ ਤੋਰੀ ॥
jaeh kahiyo fir kai har pai ih te kachh laaj na laagat toree |You go and tell Krishna that Radha is not feeling shy of him
