ਦੂਜੋ ਰਾਵ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਸੁ ਬੀਰ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
doojo raav bulaae su beer bulaae kai |Summoned the second king.
ਹੋ ਬਾਹੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੈ ਚੜਿਯੋ ਮਹਾ ਰਿਸਿ ਖਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੧੪॥
ho baahoo singh pai charriyo mahaa ris khaae kai |14|He was very angry with Bahu Singh and attacked him. 14.

ਨਾਜ ਮਤੀ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰੀ ॥
naaj matee ih bhaat uchaaree |(Then) Naj Mati said thus,
ਸੁਨੋ ਰਾਵ ਤੁਮ ਬਾਤ ਹਮਾਰੀ ॥
suno raav tum baat hamaaree |O Rajan! You listen to me.
ਸਭ ਬੀਰਨ ਕੋ ਬੋਲਿ ਪਠੈਯੈ ॥
sabh beeran ko bol patthaiyai |Call all the braves
ਸਭ ਕੇ ਸਰ ਪਰ ਨਾਮ ਡਰੈਯੈ ॥੧੫॥
sabh ke sar par naam ddaraiyai |15|And engrave (their) names on the arrows of all. 15.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਜਬ ਗਾੜੋ ਰਨ ਪਰੈਗੋ ਬਹੈ ਤੀਰ ਤਰਵਾਰਿ ॥
jab gaarro ran paraigo bahai teer taravaar |When there will be a fierce war and arrows and swords will fly.
ਬਿਨਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਰ ਪੈ ਲਿਖੈ ਸਕਿ ਹੈ ਕਵਨ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ॥੧੬॥
binaa naam sar pai likhai sak hai kavan bichaar |16|Without writing names on the arrows, who will be able to think (that who has killed whom). 16.

ਨਾਜ ਮਤੀ ਜਬ ਐਸ ਬਖਾਨ੍ਯੋ ॥
naaj matee jab aais bakhaanayo |When Naj Mati said like this
ਸਤ੍ਯ ਸਤ੍ਯ ਰਾਜੇ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨ੍ਯੋ ॥
satay satay raaje kar maanayo |So the king truly accepted.
ਸਕਲ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਬੋਲਿ ਪਠਾਏ ॥
sakal sooramaa bol patthaae |He called all the heroes
ਸਭਨ ਸਰਨ ਪਰ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਖਾਏ ॥੧੭॥
sabhan saran par naam likhaae |17|And wrote the names on the arrows of all. 17.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਸਰ ਪਰ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਖਾਇ ਕੈ ਰਨ ਕਹ ਚੜੇ ਰਿਸਾਇ ॥
sar par naam likhaae kai ran kah charre risaae |After writing names on the arrows, they went up to the battlefield full of anger.
ਜਾ ਕੋ ਸਰ ਜਿਹ ਲਾਗਿ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਭਟ ਚੀਨੋ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੮॥
jaa ko sar jih laag hai so bhatt cheeno jaae |18|Whose arrow hits, (from him) that warrior will be recognized. 18.
ਜੁਧ ਜਬੈ ਗਾੜੋ ਪਰਿਯੋ ਘਾਤ ਬਾਲ ਤਿਨ ਪਾਇ ॥
judh jabai gaarro pariyo ghaat baal tin paae |When the war became very fierce, that woman seized the opportunity,
ਉਹਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਕੋ ਬਾਨ ਲੈ ਇਹ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਹਨ੍ਯੋ ਰਿਸਾਇ ॥੧੯॥
auhi raajaa ko baan lai ih nrip hanayo risaae |19|He took the arrow of that king and killed this king with anger. 19.

ਲਾਗਤ ਬਾਨ ਰਾਵ ਰਿਸਿ ਭਯੋ ॥
laagat baan raav ris bhayo |As soon as the arrow strikes
ਸਰ ਪਰ ਨਾਮ ਲਿਖਿਯੋ ਲਖਿ ਲਯੋ ॥
sar par naam likhiyo lakh layo |Seeing the name written on the arrow, the king was filled with anger.
ਮੁਹਿ ਇਨ ਹਨ੍ਯੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੋਊ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
muhi in hanayo nripat soaoo maariyo |I have killed it, the king killed him
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਆਪਹੂੰ ਸ੍ਵਰਗ ਸਿਧਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੨੦॥
bahur aapahoon svarag sidhaariyo |20|And then he also went to heaven. 20.

ਨਾਜ ਮਤੀ ਇਹ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸੋ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਨ ਕੌ ਘਾਇ ॥
naaj matee ih charitr so duhoon nripan kau ghaae |Naj Mati killed both the kings with this character
ਬਹੁਰ ਰੈਬਾਰੀ ਰਾਵ ਸੋਂ ਆਨਿ ਦਈ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇ ॥੨੧॥
bahur raibaaree raav son aan dee sukh paae |21|And then came and gave the king (Bahu Singh) a pleasant leadership ('Raibari').21.

ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਮੈ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਕਾਜ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
nrip mai tumare kaaj savaare |(Come and say) Hey Rajan!
ਦੋਨੋ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
dono satru tihaare maare |By killing both your enemies, I have prepared your work.
ਅਬ ਮੋ ਕੋ ਤੁਮ ਧਾਮ ਬੁਲਾਵੋ ॥
ab mo ko tum dhaam bulaavo |Now you invite me to your house
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਮੁਹਿ ਸਾਥ ਕਮਾਵੋ ॥੨੨॥
kaam bhog muhi saath kamaavo |22|And have sex with me. 22.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਤਬ ਰਾਜੈ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਤੁਰਤ ਲੀਨੋ ਸਦਨ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥
tab raajai taa kau turat leeno sadan bulaae |Then the king immediately called him in the house
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਤਾ ਸੋ ਕਿਯੋ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਇ ॥੨੩॥
kaam bhog taa so kiyo hridai harakh upajaae |23|And having pleasure in his mind, he had intercourse with her. 23.
ਏਕ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਨਿਜੁ ਕਰ ਹਨ੍ਯੋ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਹਨਾਇ ॥
ek nripat nij kar hanayo taa te dutiy hanaae |Killed one king with his own hand and killed the other.
ਰਤਿ ਮਾਨੀ ਇਹ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਭਏ ਨਾਜ ਮਤੀ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇ ॥੨੪॥
rat maanee ih nrip bhe naaj matee sukh paae |24|Naj Mati happily played with this king. 24.

ਨਾਜ ਮਤੀ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਲੈ ਘਰ ਰਾਖੀ ॥
naaj matee nrip lai ghar raakhee |Naj Mati was taken by the king and kept at home.
ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕੀਨੀ ਰਵਿ ਸਸਿ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਖੀ ॥
triy keenee rav sas kar saakhee |Taking the sun and the moon as witnesses, he made her his wife.
ਰਾਕ ਹੁਤੀ ਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਿ ਡਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
raak hutee raanee kar ddaariyo |(She) was destitute, made a queen.
ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਨ ਜਾਤ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੨੫॥
triyaa charitr na jaat bichaariyo |25|The character of a woman cannot be understood. 25.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਨੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੫੩॥੩੦੫੧॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade ik sau tripano charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |153|3051|afajoon|Here ends the 153rd charitra of Mantri Bhup Sambad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 153.3051. goes on

ਸ੍ਰਯਾਲਕੋਟ ਕੇ ਦੇਸ ਮੈ ਦਰਪ ਕਲਾ ਇਕ ਬਾਮ ॥
srayaalakott ke des mai darap kalaa ik baam |There was a woman named Darap Kala in Sialkot country.
ਤਰੁਨ ਦੇਹ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਰਹੈ ਅਧਿਕ ਸਤਾਵਤ ਕਾਮ ॥੧॥
tarun deh taa kau rahai adhik sataavat kaam |1|His body was young (because of this) Kama used to torment him a lot. 1.
ਦਾਨੀ ਰਾਇ ਤਹਾ ਹੁਤੋ ਏਕ ਸਾਹ ਕੇ ਪੂਤ ॥
daanee raae tahaa huto ek saah ke poot |There used to be Dani Rai, the son of a Shah.
ਸੂਰਤਿ ਸੀਰਤਿ ਕੇ ਬਿਖੈ ਬਿਧਨੈ ਕਿਯੋ ਸਪੂਤ ॥੨॥
soorat seerat ke bikhai bidhanai kiyo sapoot |2|He was made a son by Vidhadata as a shape and character. 2.
ਦਰਪ ਕਲਾ ਇਹ ਸਾਹ ਕੀ ਦੁਹਿਤ ਰਹੈ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
darap kalaa ih saah kee duhit rahai apaar |The art of the daughter of the king there was very (beautiful).
ਹਿਯੈ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ਸਾਹ ਕੇ ਸੁਤ ਸੌ ਰਮੌ ਸੁਧਾਰ ॥੩॥
hiyai bichaariyo saah ke sut sau ramau sudhaar |3|(He) thought in his heart that he should have good intercourse with the son of the Shah. 3.

ਬੋਲਿ ਸਾਹੁ ਕੋ ਪੂਤ ਮੰਗਾਯੋ ॥
bol saahu ko poot mangaayo |He called Shah's son.
ਕਾਮ ਕੇਲ ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਕਮਾਯੋ ॥
kaam kel tih sang kamaayo |Played with him.
ਦਿਵਸ ਭਏ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਦੇਤ ਪਠਾਈ ॥
divas bhe grih det patthaaee |She used to send (him) home during the day.
ਰੈਨਿ ਭਏ ਪੁਨਿ ਲੇਤ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥੪॥
rain bhe pun let bulaaee |4|She would call again when the night falls. 4.
ਐਸੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਦੁਹਨਿ ਮੈ ਭਈ ॥
aaisee preet duhan mai bhee |There was such a love between them both
ਲੋਕ ਲਾਜ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਤਜਿ ਦਈ ॥
lok laaj sabh hee taj dee |That he renounced the entire Lok Lodge.
ਜਾਨੁਕ ਕਹੂੰ ਬ੍ਯਾਹ ਕਰਿ ਆਨੀ ॥
jaanuk kahoon bayaah kar aanee |(It seemed) as if brought in marriage.
ਤਿਨ ਪਰ ਨਾਰਿ ਐਸ ਪਹਿਚਾਨੀ ॥੫॥
tin par naar aais pahichaanee |5|That foreign woman looked like this. 5.

ਇਸਕ ਮੁਸਕ ਖਾਸੀ ਅਰੁ ਖੁਰਕ ਬਖਾਨਿਯੈ ॥
eisak musak khaasee ar khurak bakhaaniyai |Ishq, Mushak, Cough, Scabies,
ਖੂਨ ਖੈਰ ਮਦਪਾਨ ਸੁ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨਿਯੈ ॥
khoon khair madapaan su bahur pramaaniyai |There is talk of blood (murder), khair (virtue or pundan) and alcohol
ਕਸ ਕੋਊ ਕਰਈ ਸਾਤ ਛਪਾਏ ਛਪਤ ਨਹਿ ॥
kas koaoo karee saat chhapaae chhapat neh |That no matter how much one does about these seven, they are not hidden.
ਹੋ ਹੋਵਤ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਨਿਦਾਨ ਸੁ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਮਹਿ ॥੬॥
ho hovat pragatt nidaan su saaree srisatt meh |6|These finally appear in the whole creation. 6.

ਦਰਪ ਕਲਾ ਸੁਤ ਸਾਹੁ ਕੇ ਊਪਰ ਰਹੀ ਬਿਕਾਇ ॥
darap kalaa sut saahu ke aoopar rahee bikaae |Darap was sold to Kala Shah's son.
ਰੈਨਿ ਦਿਵਸ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਰਮੈ ਸਭਹਿਨ ਸੁਨੀ ਬਨਾਇ ॥੭॥
rain divas taa sau ramai sabhahin sunee banaae |7|Day and night she used to dance with him; Everyone had heard this.7.
ਦਰਪ ਕਲਾ ਜਬ ਸਾਹੁ ਕੌ ਲੀਨੋ ਪੂਤ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥
darap kalaa jab saahu kau leeno poot bulaae |Darap Kala called Jad Shah's son.
ਆਨ ਪਿਯਾਦਨ ਗਹਿ ਲਿਯੋ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਨ ਕਛੂ ਉਪਾਇ ॥੮॥
aan piyaadan geh liyo rahiyo na kachhoo upaae |8|Then the pawns (foot soldiers) came and caught him, there was no way to escape. 8.
