ਚਖਨ ਚਾਰੁ ਚੰਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਖੰਜਨ ਲਖਿ ਲਾਜਤ ॥
chakhan chaar chanchal prabhaav khanjan lakh laajat |Seeing his beautiful eyes and feeling his mercurial influence, the birds named Khanjan (wagtail) feel shy
ਗਾਵਤ ਰਾਗ ਬਸੰਤ ਬੇਣ ਬੀਨਾ ਧੁਨਿ ਬਾਜਤ ॥
gaavat raag basant ben beenaa dhun baajat |He sings Basant Raga and the lyre continues to be played near him
ਧਧਕਤ ਧ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ ਝਾਝ ਝਾਲਰ ਸੁਭ ਸੋਹਤ ॥
dhadhakat dhrikatt mridang jhaajh jhaalar subh sohat |The sound of the drum and anklets etc. are heard near him
ਖਗ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਜਛ ਭੁਜੰਗ ਅਸੁਰ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਮਨ ਮੋਹਤ ॥
khag mrig jachh bhujang asur sur nar man mohat |He allures the mind of all the birds, deer, Yakshas, serpents, demons, gods and men
ਅਸ ਲੋਭ ਨਾਮ ਜੋਧਾ ਬਡੋ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਜੁਧ ਕਹ ਜੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥
as lobh naam jodhaa baddo jidin judh kah jutt hai |The day on which this mighty warriors Lobh (greed) will come forward for war,
ਜਸ ਪਵਨ ਬੇਗ ਤੇ ਮੇਘ ਗਣ ਸੁ ਅਸ ਤਵ ਸਬ ਦਲ ਫੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੧॥
jas pavan beg te megh gan su as tav sab dal futt hai |191|Then O king! all your army will be fragmented like the clouds before the wind.191.
ਧੁਜ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਬੀਜੁਰੀ ਭੁਜਾ ਭਾਰੀ ਜਿਹ ਰਾਜਤ ॥
dhuj pramaan beejuree bhujaa bhaaree jih raajat |He, who is long like the banner and whose arm is like lighting
ਅਤਿ ਚੰਚਲ ਰਥ ਚਲਤ ਨਿਰਖ ਸੁਰ ਨਰ ਮੁਨਿ ਭਾਜਤ ॥
at chanchal rath chalat nirakh sur nar mun bhaajat |His chariot is extremely speedy and seeing him, the gods, men and sages run away
ਅਧਿਕ ਰੂਪ ਅਮਿਤੋਜ ਅਮਿਟ ਜੋਧਾ ਰਣ ਦੁਹ ਕਰ ॥
adhik roop amitoj amitt jodhaa ran duh kar |He is extremely pretty, an unconquerable warrior and performer of difficult tasks in the war
ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਲਗਤ ਸਤ੍ਰਨ ਕਹ ਰਿਪੁ ਹਰ ॥
at prataap balavant lagat satran kah rip har |To his enemies he appears very powerful and their abductor
ਅਸ ਮੋਹ ਨਾਮ ਜੋਧਾ ਜਸ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਜੁਧ ਕਹ ਜੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥
as moh naam jodhaa jas jidin judh kah jutt hai |Thus there is a Yasvan warrior named 'Moh'. (He) on the day when he will engage in war,
ਬਿਨ ਇਕ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਅਬਿਚਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਅਉਰ ਸਕਲ ਦਲ ਫੁਟਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੨॥
bin ik bichaar abichaar nrip aaur sakal dal futt hai |192|The day on which this warrior named Moh (attachment) will come for fighting, then all the injudicious army will be segmented except the judicious notion.192.
ਪਵਨ ਬੇਗ ਰਥ ਚਲਤ ਗਵਨ ਲਖਿ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਨਾਗਰ ॥
pavan beg rath chalat gavan lakh mohit naagar |His chariot moves with the speed of wind and all the citizens are allured on seeing him
ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਅਮਿਤੋਜ ਅਜੈ ਪ੍ਰਤਮਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਧਰ ॥
at prataap amitoj ajai pratamaan prabhaadhar |He is extremely glorious, unconquerable and beautiful
ਅਤਿ ਬਲਿਸਟ ਅਧਿਸਟ ਸਕਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਕਹੁ ਜਾਨਹੁ ॥
at balisatt adhisatt sakal sainaa kahu jaanahu |He is extremely powerful and master of all forces
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਮ ਬਢਿਯਾਛ ਬਡੋ ਜੋਧਾ ਜੀਅ ਮਾਨਹੁ ॥
krodh naam badtiyaachh baddo jodhaa jeea maanahu |This warrior is name Karodha (anger) and consider him the most powerful
ਧਰਿ ਅੰਗਿ ਕਵਚ ਧਰ ਪਨਚ ਕਰਿ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਮਟਕ ਹੈ ॥
dhar ang kavach dhar panach kar jidin turang mattak hai |(He) wears a shield on his body, with his hand holding a chila. (that) day when the horse will gallop,
ਬਿਨੁ ਏਕ ਸਾਤਿ ਸੁਨ ਸਤਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਹਟਕਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੩॥
bin ek saat sun sat nrip su aaur na koaoo hattak hai |193|The day on which wearing his armour and holding his discus, he will cause his horse to dance on the front, O king! consider it as true that on that day, none else will be able to repulse him except Shanti (Peace).193.
ਗਲਿਤ ਦੁਰਦ ਮਦਿ ਚੜ੍ਯੋ ਕਢਿ ਕਰਵਾਰ ਭਯੰਕਰ ॥
galit durad mad charrayo kadt karavaar bhayankar |With his drawn dreadful sword, he moves like and intoxicated elephant
ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਬਰਣ ਆਭਰਣ ਖਚਿਤ ਸਬ ਨੀਲ ਮਣਿਣ ਬਰ ॥
sayaam baran aabharan khachit sab neel manin bar |His colour is black and he is ever studded with the blue jewels
ਸ੍ਵਰਨ ਕਿੰਕਣੀ ਜਾਲ ਬਧੇ ਬਾਨੈਤ ਗਜੋਤਮ ॥
svaran kinkanee jaal badhe baanait gajotam |The Uttam and Banka ('Banayat') elephant is decorated with a net of gold buckle (Taragi).
ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਜੁਤਿ ਬੀਰ ਸਿਧ ਸਾਵੰਤ ਨਰੋਤਮ ॥
at prabhaav jut beer sidh saavant narotam |He is a superb elephant entrapped and enchained in a net of gold and on all the people, the impact of this warrior is good
ਇਹ ਛਬਿ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਾਮਾ ਸੁਭਟ ਅਤਿ ਬਲਿਸਟ ਤਿਹ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥
eih chhab hankaar naamaa subhatt at balisatt tih maaneeai |He is the mighty Ahamkara and consider him extremely powerful
ਜਿਹ ਜਗਤ ਜੀਵ ਜੀਤੇ ਸਬੈ ਆਪ ਅਜੀਤ ਤਿਹ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੯੪॥
jih jagat jeev jeete sabai aap ajeet tih jaaneeai |194|He has conquered the beings of all the world and he himself is unconquerable.194.
ਸੇਤ ਹਸਤ ਆਰੂੜ ਢੁਰਤ ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰਿ ਚਵਰ ਬਰ ॥
set hasat aaroorr dturat chahoon or chavar bar |He is mounted on a white elephant and the fly-whisk is being swung over him from all the four sides
ਸ੍ਵਰਣ ਕਿੰਕਣੀ ਬਧੇ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਮੋਹਤ ਨਾਰੀ ਨਰ ॥
svaran kinkanee badhe nirakh mohat naaree nar |Seeing his golden embellishment, all the men and women are allured
ਸੁਭ੍ਰ ਸੈਹਥੀ ਪਾਣਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਅਸ ਧਾਵਤ ॥
subhr saihathee paan prabhaa kar mai as dhaavat |He has a lance in his hand and he is moving like the sun
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਦਿਪਤਿ ਦਾਮਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਹੀਯਰੇ ਪਛੁਤਾਵਤ ॥
nirakh dipat daamanee prabhaa heeyare pachhutaavat |The lightning seeing his luster feels sorrowful also for its bedimmed radiance
ਅਸ ਦ੍ਰੋਹ ਨਾਮ ਜੋਧਾ ਬਡੋ ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਤਿਹ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
as droh naam jodhaa baddo at prabhaav tih jaaneeai |Consider this great warrior Dorha (Malice) as extremely impressive and this warrior,
ਜਲ ਥਲ ਬਿਦੇਸ ਦੇਸਨ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਆਨ ਜਵਨ ਕੀ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੯੫॥
jal thal bides desan nripat aan javan kee maaneeai |195|O king! accepts subordination in water and on plain and in countries far and near.195.
ਤਬਲ ਬਾਜ ਘੁੰਘਰਾਰ ਸੀਸ ਕਲਗੀ ਜਿਹ ਸੋਹਤ ॥
tabal baaj ghungharaar sees kalagee jih sohat |With curly hair like the tambourine player, he has two swords
ਦ੍ਵੈ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣ ਗਜਗਾਹ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਨਾਰੀ ਨਰ ਮੋਹਤ ॥
dvai kripaan gajagaah nirakh naaree nar mohat |The men and women are allured to see him
ਅਮਿਤ ਰੂਪ ਅਮਿਤੋਜ ਬਿਕਟ ਬਾਨੈਤ ਅਮਿਟ ਭਟ ॥
amit roop amitoj bikatt baanait amitt bhatt |He is a mighty warrior with unlimited glory
ਅਤਿ ਸੁਬਾਹ ਅਤਿ ਸੂਰ ਅਜੈ ਅਨਭਿਦ ਸੁ ਅਨਕਟ ॥
at subaah at soor ajai anabhid su anakatt |He has long arms and is extremely brave, unconquerable and invinicible
ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਰਮ ਅਨਭਿਦ ਭਟ ਜਿਦਿਨ ਕ੍ਰੁਧ ਜੀਯ ਧਾਰ ਹੈ ॥
eih bhaat bharam anabhid bhatt jidin krudh jeey dhaar hai |Such inseparable 'delusion' (of the name) is Surma. On the day (he) will harbor anger in his heart,
ਬਿਨ ਇਕ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਅਬਿਚਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਸੁ ਅਉਰ ਨ ਆਨਿ ਉਬਾਰਿ ਹੈ ॥੧੯੬॥
bin ik bichaar abichaar nrip sas aaur na aan ubaar hai |196|The day on which this indiscriminate warrior named Bharma (illusion) will get enraged in his mind, then O king! No one will be able to redeem you except Vivek (Reason).196.
ਲਾਲ ਮਾਲ ਸੁਭ ਬਧੈ ਨਗਨ ਸਰਪੇਚਿ ਖਚਿਤ ਸਿਰ ॥
laal maal subh badhai nagan sarapech khachit sir |garland of beautiful reds is tied and nags are embedded in the crown ('sarpechi') of the head.
ਅਤਿ ਬਲਿਸਟ ਅਨਿਭੇਦ ਅਜੈ ਸਾਵੰਤ ਭਟਾਬਰ ॥
at balisatt anibhed ajai saavant bhattaabar |This warrior with naked head and with necklaces full of rubies, extremely powerful, indiscriminate and unconquerable
ਕਟਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣ ਸੈਹਥੀ ਤਜਤ ਧਾਰਾ ਬਾਣਨ ਕਰ ॥
katt kripaan saihathee tajat dhaaraa baanan kar |He has the sword and lance in his girdle and he is the one who showers the volley of arrows
ਦੇਖਤ ਹਸਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਲਜਤ ਤੜਿਤਾ ਧਾਰਾਧਰ ॥
dekhat hasat prabhaav lajat tarritaa dhaaraadhar |Seeing the impact of his laughter, the lightning feels shy
ਅਸ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਦੋਖ ਅਨਮੋਖ ਭਟ ਅਕਟ ਅਜੈ ਤਿਹ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
as braham dokh anamokh bhatt akatt ajai tih jaaneeai |This warriors named Brahim-Dosh (finder of flaws in Divinity) is unconquerable and invincible
ਅਰਿ ਦਵਨ ਅਜੈ ਆਨੰਦ ਕਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਅਬਿਬੇਕ ਕੋ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੯੭॥

ਅਸਿਤ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਰੁ ਅਸਿਤ ਗਾਤ ਅਮਿਤੋਜ ਰਣਾਚਲ ॥
asit basatr ar asit gaat amitoj ranaachal |He has a black body and wears black clothes he is infinitely glorious
ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਅਤਿ ਬੀਰ ਬੀਰ ਜੀਤੇ ਜਿਨ ਜਲ ਥਲ ॥
at prachandd at beer beer jeete jin jal thal |He is extremely powerful and he has conquered many warriors in the battlefield
ਅਕਟ ਅਜੈ ਅਨਭੇਦ ਅਮਿਟ ਅਨਰਥਿ ਨਾਮ ਤਿਹ ॥
akatt ajai anabhed amitt anarath naam tih |He is invincible, imperishable and indiscriminate
ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਥ ਅਰਿ ਮਥਨ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸੋਖਨ ਹੈ ਬ੍ਰਿਦ ਜਿਹ ॥
at pramaath ar mathan satru sokhan hai brid jih |His name is Anarth (misfortune), he is extremely powerful and is capable of destroying the gatherings of enemies
ਦੁਰ ਧਰਖ ਸੂਰ ਅਨਭੇਦ ਭਟ ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਤਿਹ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
dur dharakh soor anabhed bhatt at prataap tih jaaneeai |He, who is the killer of tyrannical warriors, is considered extremely glorious
ਅਨਜੈ ਅਨੰਦ ਦਾਤਾ ਅਪਨ ਅਤਿ ਸੁਬਾਹ ਤਿਹ ਮਾਨੀਐ ॥੧੯੮॥
anajai anand daataa apan at subaah tih maaneeai |198|He is unconquerable, giver of pleasure and is known as extremely glorious warrior.198.
