ਕਹੂੰ ਚੇਸਟਾ ਚਾਰਿ ਚਿਤ੍ਰੰ ਸਰੂਪੰ ॥
kahoon chesattaa chaar chitran saroopan |Somewhere Thou makest superb effort and somewhere Thou lookest like a picture!
ਕਹੂੰ ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਕੋ ਪਾਰ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
kahoon param puraan ko paar paavai |Somewhere Thou comprehendest the tenets of holy Puranas!

kahoon sudh sekhan kahoon braham dharaman |Somewhere Thou art a True Muslim and somewhere the adherent of the religion of Brahmins!
ਕਹੂੰ ਬ੍ਰਿਧ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਕਹੂੰ ਬਾਲ ਕਰਮੰ ॥
kahoon bridh avasathaa kahoon baal karaman |Somewhere Thou art in old age and somewhere actest as a child!
ਕਹੂੰ ਜੁਆ ਸਰੂਪੰ ਜਰਾ ਰਹਤ ਦੇਹੰ ॥
kahoon juaa saroopan jaraa rahat dehan |Somewhere Thou art a youth sans an old body!

kahoon gaararroo goorrh kathain kahaanee |28|118|Somewhere Thou art Gararoo Mantra (that mantra, which effaces the snake poison) and somewhere Thou tallest the mysterious story (through astrology)! 28. 118
ਕਹੂੰ ਅਛਰਾ ਪਛਰਾ ਮਛਰਾ ਹੋ ॥
kahoon achharaa pachharaa machharaa ho |Somewhere Thou art the belle of this world, somewhere the apsara (nymph of heaven) and somewhere the beautiful maid of nether-world!
ਕਹੂੰ ਬੀਰ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਅਭੂਤੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਹੋ ॥
kahoon beer bidiaa abhootan prabhaa ho |Somewhere Thou art the learning about the art of warfare and somewhere Thou art the non-elemental beauty!
ਕਹੂੰ ਛੈਲ ਛਾਲਾ ਧਰੇ ਛਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ ॥
kahoon chhail chhaalaa dhare chhatradhaaree |Somewhere Thou art the gallant youth, somewhere the ascetic on the deer-skin!
ਕਹੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਸਾਜੰ ਧਿਰਾਜਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ॥੨੯॥੧੧੯॥
kahoon raaj saajan dhiraajaadhikaaree |29|119|Somewhere a king under the canopy, somewhere Thou art the ruling sovereign authority! 29. 119
ਨਮੋ ਨਾਥ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਧ ਦਾਤਾ ॥
namo naath poore sadaa sidh daataa |I bow before Thee, O Perfect Lord! The Donor ever of miraculous powers!
ਅਛੇਦੀ ਅਛੈ ਆਦਿ ਅਦ੍ਵੈ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ॥

ਆਸਨ ਅਡੋਲ ਅਨਭੂਤ ਕਰਮ ॥
aasan addol anabhoot karam |Thy Seat is Stable and Thy actions are non-elemental!
ਦਾਤਾ ਦਇਆਲ ਅਨਭੂਤ ਧਰਮ ॥੨॥੧੨੨॥
daataa deaal anabhoot dharam |2|122|Thou art the Beneficent Donor and Thy religious discipline is Beyond the working of elements! 2. 122
ਜਿਹ ਸਤ੍ਰ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਹਿ ਜਨਮ ਜਾਤ ॥
jih satr mitr neh janam jaat |Thou art that Ultimate Reality which is without enemy friend birth and caste !
ਜਿਹ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਮਾਤ ॥
jih putr bhraat naheen mitr maat |Which is without son brother friend and mother!
ਜਿਹ ਕਰਮ ਭਰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਧਰਮ ਧਿਆਨ ॥
jih karam bharam naheen dharam dhiaan |Which is action less Illusion less and without any consideration of religious disciplines !

jih jaat paat naheen satr mitr |Which is without caste line enemy and friend!
ਜਿਹ ਨੇਹ ਗੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਿਹਨ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ॥
jih neh geh naheen chihan chitr |Which is without love home mark and picture!
ਜਿਹ ਰੰਗ ਰੂਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਾਗ ਰੇਖ ॥
jih rang roop naheen raag rekh |Which is without caste line enemy and friend!
ਜਿਹ ਜਨਮ ਜਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਰਮ ਭੇਖ ॥੪॥੧੨੪॥
jih janam jaat naheen bharam bhekh |4|124|Which is without is without birth caste illusion and guise! 4. 124
ਜਿਹ ਕਰਮ ਭਰਮ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਤ ਪਾਤ ॥
jih karam bharam nahee jaat paat |Which is without action delusion caste and lineage!
ਨਹੀ ਨੇਹ ਗੇਹ ਨਹੀ ਪਿਤ੍ਰ ਮਾਤ ॥
nahee neh geh nahee pitr maat |Which is without love home father and mother!
ਜਿਹ ਨਾਮ ਥਾਮ ਨਹੀ ਬਰਗ ਬਿਆਧ ॥
jih naam thaam nahee barag biaadh |Which is without name place and also without species of maladies!
ਜਿਹ ਰੋਗ ਸੋਗ ਨਹੀ ਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਧ ॥੫॥੧੨੫॥
jih rog sog nahee satr saadh |5|125|Which is without ailment sorrow enemy and a saintly friend! 5. 125
ਜਿਹ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀ ਦੇਹ ਨਾਸ ॥
jih traas vaas nahee deh naas |Which never remains in fear and whose body is Indestructible!
ਜਿਹ ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਰਾਸ ॥
jih aad ant nahee roop raas |Which has no beginning no end no form and no outlay!
ਜਿਹ ਰੋਗ ਸੋਗ ਨਹੀ ਜੋਗ ਜੁਗਤਿ ॥
jih rog sog nahee jog jugat |Which has no ailment sorrow and no device of Yoga!
ਜਿਹ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਆਸ ਨਹੀ ਭੂਮਿ ਭੁਗਤਿ ॥੬॥੧੨੬॥
jih traas aas nahee bhoom bhugat |6|126|Which has no fear no hope and no earthly enjoyment! 6. 126
ਜਿਹ ਕਾਲ ਬਿਆਲ ਕਟਿਓ ਨ ਅੰਗ ॥
jih kaal biaal kattio na ang |Thou art That whose bodily limb hath never been stung by the serpent of death!
ਅਛੈ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਖੈ ਅਭੰਗ ॥
achhai saroop akhai abhang |Who is Unassailable Entity and Who is Indestructible and Imperishable!
ਜਿਹ ਨੇਤ ਨੇਤ ਉਚਰੰਤ ਬੇਦ ॥
jih net net ucharant bed |Whom the Vedas call ‘Neti Neti’ (Not this not this) and infinite!
ਜਿਹ ਅਲਖ ਰੂਪ ਕਥਤ ਕਤੇਬ ॥੭॥੧੨੭॥
jih alakh roop kathat kateb |7|127|Whom the Semitic Scriptures call Incompre-hensible! 7. 127
ਜਿਹ ਅਲਖ ਰੂਪ ਆਸਨ ਅਡੋਲ ॥
jih alakh roop aasan addol |Whose Form is Unknowable and Whose Seat is stable!
ਜਿਹ ਅਮਿਤ ਤੇਜ ਅਛੈ ਅਤੋਲ ॥
jih amit tej achhai atol |Whose light is unlimited and who is Invincible and Unweighable!
ਜਿਹ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਾਜ ਮੁਨਿ ਜਨ ਅਨੰਤ ॥
jih dhiaan kaaj mun jan anant |For Whose meditation and sight infinite sages !
ਕਈ ਕਲਪ ਜੋਗ ਸਾਧਤ ਦੁਰੰਤ ॥੮॥੧੨੮॥
kee kalap jog saadhat durant |8|128|Perform hard Yoga Practices for many kalpas (ages)! 8. 128
ਤਨ ਸੀਤ ਘਾਮ ਬਰਖਾ ਸਹੰਤ ॥
tan seet ghaam barakhaa sahant |For Thy realization they endure cold heat and rain on their body!
ਕਈ ਕਲਪ ਏਕ ਆਸਨ ਬਿਤੰਤ ॥
kee kalap ek aasan bitant |For many ages they remain in the same posture!
ਕਈ ਜਤਨ ਜੋਗ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਬਿਚਾਰ ॥
kee jatan jog bidiaa bichaar |They make many efforts and ruminate over the learning of Yoga!
ਸਾਧੰਤ ਤਦਪਿ ਪਾਵਤ ਨ ਪਾਰ ॥੯॥੧੨੯॥
saadhant tadap paavat na paar |9|129|They practice Yoga but still they cannot know Thy end! 9. 129
ਕਈ ਉਰਧ ਬਾਹ ਦੇਸਨ ਭ੍ਰਮੰਤ ॥
kee uradh baah desan bhramant |Many wander in several countries with raised arms!
ਕਈ ਉਰਧ ਮਧ ਪਾਵਕ ਝੁਲੰਤ ॥
kee uradh madh paavak jhulant |Many burn their bodies upside down!
