ਘੁਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਸ੍ਯਾਮੰ ਘਟਾ ਜਿਮਿ ਜ੍ਵਾਲੰ ॥

ghure jaan sayaaman ghattaa jim jvaalan |

(It appears) as if the black particles resound and as fire (from fireworks).

ਨਚੇ ਈਸ ਸੀਸੰ ਪੁਐ ਰੁੰਡ ਮਾਲੰ ॥

nache ees seesan puaai rundd maalan |

Shiva dances, garlands the runds.

ਜੁਝੇ ਬੀਰ ਧੀਰੰ ਬਰੈ ਬੀਨਿ ਬਾਲੰ ॥੪੮੬॥

jujhe beer dheeran barai been baalan |486|

With the discharge of arrows, the firearms wre discharged like the fires rising in clourds, Shiva, dancing with his pleasure, strung the rosaries of skulls, the warriors began to fight and wed the heavenly damsels after selecting them.486.

ਗਿਰੈ ਅੰਗ ਭੰਗੰ ਭ੍ਰਮੰ ਰੁੰਡ ਮੁੰਡੰ ॥

girai ang bhangan bhraman rundd munddan |

(Somewhere) limbs are falling down (and somewhere) runds and boys are roaming.

ਗਜੀ ਬਾਜ ਗਾਜੀ ਗਿਰੈ ਬੀਰ ਝੁੰਡੰ ॥

gajee baaj gaajee girai beer jhunddan |

(Somewhere) elephant riders, horse riders, herds of warriors have fallen.

ਇਕੰ ਹਾਕ ਹੰਕੈਤਿ ਧਰਕੈਤ ਸੂਰੰ ॥

eikan haak hankait dharakait sooran |

The cries are heard from the eagles and (hearing) the hearts of the warriors are beating.

ਉਠੇ ਤਛ ਮੁਛੰ ਭਈ ਲੋਹ ਪੂਰੰ ॥੪੮੭॥

autthe tachh muchhan bhee loh pooran |487|

Getting truncated and having the limbs broken the riders of elephants, the horses and other warriors began to fall in groups, the hearts of the warriors throbbed with each challenge and with the rising of the fighters with beautiful whiskers the earth bec

RASAAVAL STANZA

ਅਰੇ ਜੇ ਸੁ ਮਾਰੇ ॥

are je su maare |

(Those who stand in front) are killed.

ਮਿਲੇ ਤੇ ਜੁ ਹਾਰੇ ॥

mile te ju haare |

Those who have been defeated (assuming they are Ein) have been reunited.

ਲਏ ਸਰਬ ਸੰਗੰ ॥

le sarab sangan |

All together

ਰਸੇ ਰੀਝ ਰੰਗੰ ॥੪੮੮॥

rase reejh rangan |488|

He, who resisted before them, was killed and he, who was defeated, he surrendered, in this way, all were delightfully adjusted.488.

ਦਇਓ ਦਾਨ ਏਤੋ ॥

deio daan eto |

Have given so much (more) charity, how much is it?

ਕਥੈ ਕਬਿ ਕੇਤੋ ॥

kathai kab keto |

Poets cannot describe (Him).

ਰਿਝੇ ਸਰਬ ਰਾਜਾ ॥

rijhe sarab raajaa |

All the kings are delighted.

ਬਜੇ ਬੰਬ ਬਾਜਾ ॥੪੮੯॥

baje banb baajaa |489|

So much charity was bestowed, that they can only be described by the poets, all the kings became happy and the horns of victory sounded.489.

ਖੁਰਾਸਾਨ ਜੀਤਾ ॥

khuraasaan jeetaa |

The country of Khorasan has been conquered.

ਸਬਹੂੰ ਸੰਗ ਲੀਤਾ ॥

sabahoon sang leetaa |

Has taken all (enemies) with him.

ਦਇਓ ਆਪ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੰ ॥

deio aap mantran |

(Kalki) has given the mantra to all

ਭਲੇ ਅਉਰ ਜੰਤ੍ਰੰ ॥੪੯੦॥

bhale aaur jantran |490|

The Khorasan country was conquered and taking every-one with him, the Lord (Kalki) gave his mantra and Yantra to everyone.490.

ਚਲਿਓ ਦੇ ਨਗਾਰਾ ॥

chalio de nagaaraa |

(Kalki) has walked away shouting.

ਮਿਲਿਓ ਸੈਨ ਭਾਰਾ ॥

milio sain bhaaraa |

A very large army has joined the party.

ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣੀ ਨਿਖੰਗੰ ॥

kripaanee nikhangan |

There are (many) kripanas and bhathas,

ਸਕ੍ਰੋਧੀ ਭੜੰਗੰ ॥੪੯੧॥

sakrodhee bharrangan |491|

From there, sounding trumpets and taking all the army alongwith him he marched forward, the warriors had the swords and quivers, they were extremely angry and clashing warriors.491.

ਤੋਟਕ ਛੰਦ ॥

TOTAK STANZA

ਭੂਅ ਕੰਪਤ ਜੰਪਤ ਸੇਸ ਫਣੰ ॥

bhooa kanpat janpat ses fanan |

(With the rising of Kalki) the earth has trembled. Shesh Nag is chanting.

ਘਹਰੰਤ ਸੁ ਘੁੰਘਰ ਘੋਰ ਰਣੰ ॥

ghaharant su ghunghar ghor ranan |

In the plains, the bells are ringing with a loud voice.

ਸਰ ਤਜਤ ਗਜਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਜੁਧੰ ॥

sar tajat gajat krodh judhan |

(Warriors) shoot arrows in battle and roar with anger.

ਮੁਖ ਮਾਰ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਜੁਝਾਰ ਕ੍ਰੁਧੰ ॥੪੯੨॥

mukh maar uchaar jujhaar krudhan |492|

The earth trembled and the Sheshnaga repeated Lord’s Names, the dreadful bells of war rang, the warriors in ire discharged arrows and shouted “kill, kill” from their mouth.492.

ਬ੍ਰਿਨ ਝਲਤ ਘਲਤ ਘਾਇ ਘਣੰ ॥

brin jhalat ghalat ghaae ghanan |

(Warriors) sustain wounds and also injure (others).

ਕੜਕੁਟ ਸੁ ਪਖਰ ਬਖਤਰਣੰ ॥

karrakutt su pakhar bakhataranan |

There is a clash of armor and armor.

ਗਣ ਗਿਧ ਸੁ ਬ੍ਰਿਧ ਰੜੰਤ ਨਭੰ ॥

gan gidh su bridh rarrant nabhan |

Many big vultures are making noise in the sky.

ਕਿਲਕਾਰਤ ਡਾਕਿਣ ਉਚ ਸੁਭੰ ॥੪੯੩॥

kilakaarat ddaakin uch subhan |493|

Enduring the anguish of wounds, they began to inflict wounds and cut the good steel-armours in the battlefield, the ghosts and the vultures moved in the sky and the vampires shrieked vultures moved in the sky and the vampires shrieked violently.493.

ਗਣਿ ਹੂਰ ਸੁ ਪੂਰ ਫਿਰੀ ਗਗਨੰ ॥

gan hoor su poor firee gaganan |

The sky is filled with wandering bands of hurrahs.

ਅਵਿਲੋਕਿ ਸਬਾਹਿ ਲਗੀ ਸਰਣੰ ॥

avilok sabaeh lagee saranan |

She falls in the shelter of the Sundar Dil Doll Wale (heroes).

ਮੁਖ ਭਾਵਤ ਗਾਵਤ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਰੀ ॥

mukh bhaavat gaavat geet suree |

Those goddesses are singing mind-blowing songs.

ਗਣ ਪੂਰ ਸੁ ਪਖਰ ਹੂਰ ਫਿਰੀ ॥੪੯੪॥

gan poor su pakhar hoor firee |494|

The heavenly damsels moved in the sky and they came to look for and take refuge with the warriors in the battlefield, they sang song from their mouths and in this way, the ganas and heavenly damsels roamed in the sky.496.

ਭਟ ਪੇਖਤ ਪੋਅਤ ਹਾਰ ਹਰੀ ॥

bhatt pekhat poat haar haree |

Warriors see and Shiva is garlanding (boys).

ਹਹਰਾਵਤ ਹਾਸ ਫਿਰੀ ਪਖਰੀ ॥

haharaavat haas firee pakharee |

The apes are running around laughing.

ਦਲ ਗਾਹਤ ਬਾਹਤ ਬੀਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਣੰ ॥

dal gaahat baahat beer brinan |

Warriors go around attacking the army and inflicting wounds.

ਪ੍ਰਣ ਪੂਰ ਸੁ ਪਛਿਮ ਜੀਤ ਰਣੰ ॥੪੯੫॥

pran poor su pachhim jeet ranan |495|

Seeing the warriors, Shiva began to string the rosary of skulls and Yoginis laughed and moved, the fighters, roaming in the armies received wounds and in this way they began to fulfill their promise of conquering the West.495.
