ਸੋ ਨ ਲਹਾ ਚੁਪ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹਾ ਸਕ੍ਰਯਾ ਨ ਭੇਦ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ॥੯॥
so na lahaa chup hvai rahaa sakrayaa na bhed bichaar |9|When he could not find, without discernment, he just kept quiet.(9)(1)

ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਅਰੁ ਬਸੀਕਰ ਜਾਨਤ ਹੁਤੀ ਅਨੇਕ ॥੧॥

ਆਪੁ ਮੁਸਫ ਬਾਚਤ ਭਈ ਜਾਟ ਖਾਟਿ ਤਰ ਬਾਧਿ ॥
aap musaf baachat bhee jaatt khaatt tar baadh |She started to read Quran and had made Jat to hide underneath the bed.
ਕਾਜੀ ਕੋ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਕਿਯਾ ਬਾਨ ਦ੍ਰਿਗਨ ਕੇ ਸਾਧਿ ॥੪॥
kaajee ko mohit kiyaa baan drigan ke saadh |4|She charmed the Quazi by showering the love-arrows through her eyes.(4)

kaamakel taa sau upajaayo |Quazi sat down on the bed and then made love with her.
ਤਾ ਕੀ ਕਾਨਿ ਨ ਆਨਤ ਮਨੈ ॥

ਮੂਰਖ ਚੋਟ ਚਟਾਕਨ ਗਨੈ ॥੫॥

ਖਾਟ ਤਰੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਢਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਟ ਲਯੋ ਉਰ ਲਾਇ ॥੬॥
khaatt tare te kaadt kar jaatt layo ur laae |6|Then she got the Jat out from under the bed and hugged him.

ਮੈ ਕਾਜੀ ਕਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਲਬੇਰਾ ॥
mai kaajee kah bahut laberaa |I have admired Kazi a lot.
ਤਾ ਕਹ ਬਹੁ ਜੂਤਿਨ ਸੌ ਮਾਰਾ ॥
taa kah bahu jootin sau maaraa |(I) hit him a lot with shoes,
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਉਠਤ ਤਰਾਕੋ ਭਾਰਾ ॥੭॥

ਤੌ ਹਮ ਸਾਚੁ ਤਿਸੈ ਹਨਾ ਲੀਜਹੋ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਪਛਾਨਿ ॥੮॥
tau ham saach tisai hanaa leejaho hridai pachhaan |8|‘I hit him with a shoe, that is why there was excessive noise.(8)
ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਤਿਨ ਕਹਾ ਹਮ ਸੁਨੇ ਤਰਾਕੇ ਕਾਨ ॥
sat sat tin kahaa ham sune taraake kaan |(He replied,) ‘It is true i heard the noises too.’
ਸੀਸ ਖੁਰਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਕੌ ਗਏ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਸਕਾ ਪਛਾਨ ॥੯॥
sees khurak grih kau ge bhed na sakaa pachhaan |9|Scratching his head he left for his house and could not discern the mystery.(9)(l)

taeh bhajan kah haath pasaaraa |He (the Mughal) stretched out his hand to have intercourse with the woman,
ਤਬ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਤਾਹਿ ਜੂਤਿਯਨ ਮਾਰਾ ॥੨॥
tab triy taeh jootiyan maaraa |2|She invited him for making love then she beat him with shoes (and he fainted).(2)
