On seeing which the gods became mad and the demons were (understandably) sold. 3.
And the beauty of Pingul Mati also looked extraordinary.
Brahma created (him) and then no one else could create him. 4.
twenty four:
One day the king went hunting
And thought thus in mind.
(He) dipped his clothes in blood and sent them (home).
And sent to say that the lion Bharthar has eaten Hari. 5.
The servant went to the palace with the armor
And (went) said that today the lion has killed the king.
Rani (Bhan Mati) was ready to burn to death
And Pingulmati (only) died saying hi.6.
dual:
A woman who enters the fire should not be praised.
Blessed is the woman who is pierced by the arrow of Birhon. 7.
adamant:
Bharthari returned home after playing hunting
(So he) heard that Pingulamati had died saying 'Hi'.
The king started saying hi hi after putting things on his head
That the time is no longer at hand when I sent the armor home. 8.
twenty four:
Or I'll be stabbed to death,
Or become a jogi and burn the whole house.
My life is hated in the world
In whose (house) Pingula is not the queen. 9.
dual:
Who used to adorn the limbs with precious jewels,
They have now become like snakes and eat the body by cutting it. 10.
Self:
The bean resembled a 'bank' (sword), the ornaments resembled embers and the taal resembled the mridanga kirpan and katar.
O Sakhi! Chandni is like fire, beauty ('jeb') is like kuhre ('judai') and musk is like the sharp teeth (points) of a saw.
The raga is like a disease, the lyrics are like a baraag, the verses of a change are like arrows.
Words have become like arrows, jewels like arrows and necklaces like black snakes. 11.
The words are like swords, the melody of the instruments ('baran') is like a lamentation and the bass of the blowing wind sounds like a great disease.
A cuckoo's cooing is like a crow's crow, a lotus stalk is like a snake and a watch is like a knife.
Bhauan ('Bhaun') furnace-like (looks like) jewels are fierce (seems) and are burning with the moonlight.
O Sakhi! The bean looks like an arrow and without that woman, the spring seems to have ended. 12.
The wind is like an enemy, the voice is like a lamentation, the bean sounds like an arrow in vain.
Like Samkha Yudha, Muchang is painful to the body ('dukhang') and Kama Dev's pressure is painful or bitter ('kyare').
The moonlight spread in all four directions looks like a pyre and the cuckoo's cuckoo sounds like a pang of pain.
Like Bhavan Bhatti, the jewels are horrible. They are not blooming flowers, but similar to the fun of snakes. 13.
twenty four:
I stubbornly holding Sindhoura in my hand
I will burn in the fire for Pingulmati.
If these women were alive today,
Then Bharthari will take water. 14.
adamant:
Then Gorakhnath came there.
