ਦੇਵ ਸਬਦ ਕਹੁ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਹੁ ॥
dev sabad kahu aad bakhaanahu |First pronounce the word 'god'.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦ ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਪੁਨਿ ਠਾਨਹੁ ॥
nrip pad teen baar pun tthaanahu |(In it) then add the word 'Nrip' three times.
ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਭਣਿਜੈ ॥
satru sabad ko bahur bhanijai |Then say the word 'Satru'.
ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਸਕਲ ਲਹਿਜੈ ॥੧੨੫੭॥
naam tupak ke sakal lahijai |1257|Saying the word “Dev” and adding the word “Nrip” three times, utter the word “Dhatru” and know all the names of Tupak.1257.
ਅਮਰ ਸਬਦ ਕਹੁ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਹੁ ॥
amar sabad kahu aad uchaarahu |First pronounce the word 'Amar'.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦ ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਪੁਨਿ ਡਾਰਹੁ ॥
nrip pad teen baar pun ddaarahu |Then add the word 'Nrip' three times.
ਅਰਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਲੀਜੈ ॥
ar keh naam tupak ke leejai |(Then) adding the word 'Ari' will form the name of the drop.
ਕਬਿਤ ਕਾਬਿ ਕੇ ਭੀਤਰ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੧੨੫੮॥
kabit kaab ke bheetar deejai |1258|Saying the word “Amar”, add the word “Nrip” three times and them adding the word “ari”, know the names of TUpak.1258.
ਨ੍ਰਿਜਰ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਰੀਐ ॥

ar keh naam tupak ke jaanahu |(Then) understand the name of the drop by saying the word 'Ari'.
ਸੰਕ ਛਾਡਿ ਨਿਰਸੰਕ ਬਖਾਨਹੁ ॥੧੨੫੯॥
sank chhaadd nirasank bakhaanahu |1259|Saying the word “Nirajar”, add the word “Nrip” three times and then uttering the word “ari”, know the names of Tupak unhesitatingly.1259.
ਬਿਬੁਧ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਆਦਿ ਭਣੀਜੈ ॥
bibudh sabad ko aad bhaneejai |First recite the word 'Bibudh' (god).
ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਬਦ ਧਰੀਜੈ ॥
teen baar nrip sabad dhareejai |(Then) add the word 'Nrip' three times.
ਰਿਪੁ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਲਹੀਅਹਿ ॥
rip keh naam tupak ke laheeeh |(Then) understand the name of Tupak by saying the word 'Ripu'.
ਸੰਕਾ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਸਭਾ ਮੈ ਕਹੀਅਹਿ ॥੧੨੬੦॥
sankaa tiaag sabhaa mai kaheeeh |1260|Saying firstly the word “Vibuddh”, add the word “Nrip” three times and thenn adding the word “Ripu”, know the names of Tupak without any hesitation.1260.
ਸੁਰ ਪਦ ਆਦਿ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਧਾਰੀਐ ॥
sur pad aad sabad ko dhaareeai |Put the word 'sur' first.
ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਦ ਕਹੁ ਡਾਰੀਐ ॥
teen baar nrip pad kahu ddaareeai |(Then) add to it the word 'Nrip' three times.
ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨੋ ॥
ar pad taa ke ant bakhaano |At the end of it recite the pada 'Ari'.
ਸਭ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਜਾਨੋ ॥੧੨੬੧॥
sabh sree naam tupak ke jaano |1261|Saying firstly the word “Sur”, add the word “Nrip” three times and then adding the word “ari” at the end know all the names of Tupak.1261.
ਸੁਮਨ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਹੁ ॥
suman sabad ko aad bakhaanahu |First recite the word 'Suman' (God).
ਤੀਨ ਬਾਰ ਨਾਇਕ ਪਦ ਠਾਨਹੁ ॥
teen baar naaeik pad tthaanahu |(Then) add the word 'hero' three times.
ਅਰਿ ਪਦ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਭਣਿਜੈ ॥
ar pad taa ke ant bhanijai |At the end of it, say the word 'Ari'.
ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਸਕਲ ਲਹਿਜੈ ॥੧੨੬੨॥
