ਰਾਜਾ ਕਾਮਰੂਪ ਕੋ ਧਾਯੋ ॥
raajaa kaamaroop ko dhaayo |King of Kamarupa
ਅਮਿਤ ਕਟਕ ਲੀਨੇ ਸੰਗ ਆਯੋ ॥
amit kattak leene sang aayo |Amit came with Sena.
ਦਾਰੁਣ ਰਣ ਸੂਰਣ ਤਹ ਕਰਿਯੋ ॥
daarun ran sooran tah kariyo |These heroes fought a terrible war there
ਰਵਿ ਸਸਿ ਚਕ੍ਰਯੋ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਥਰਹਰਿਯੋ ॥੫੧॥
rav sas chakrayo indr tharahariyo |51|(Seeing which) the sun and the moon were astonished and Indra began to tremble. 51.
ਅੰਗ ਕਟੇ ਤਰਫੈ ਕਹੂੰ ਅੰਗਰੀ ॥
ang katte tarafai kahoon angaree |Some parts are severed and some fingers are suffering.
ਬੀਰ ਪਰੇ ਉਛਰਤ ਕਹੂੰ ਟੰਗਰੀ ॥
beer pare uchharat kahoon ttangaree |Somewhere the warriors are lying down and somewhere (their) legs are suffering.
ਹਠਿ ਹਠਿ ਭਿਰੇ ਸੁਭਟ ਰਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
hatth hatth bhire subhatt ran maahee |(Those) warriors are fighting a stubborn war
ਜੰਬਕ ਗੀਧ ਮਾਸੁ ਲੈ ਜਾਹੀ ॥੫੨॥
janbak geedh maas lai jaahee |52|And jackals and vultures are carrying meat. 52.

ਬਾਲ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਮਾਰੇ ਕੋਪ ਬਢਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
baal sooramaa maare kop badtaae kai |Raj Kumari got angry and killed the warriors.
ਜੋ ਚਿਤੁ ਚਹੈ ਸੰਘਾਰੇ ਰਥਹਿ ਧਵਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
jo chit chahai sanghaare ratheh dhavaae kai |Anyone who wanted to be killed, was killed by the chariot.
ਪੈਦਲ ਅਮਿਤ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ਅਤਿ ਚਿਤ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਿ ॥
paidal amit bidaare at chit kop kar |With much anger in his mind, he kicked innumerable feet.
ਹੋ ਰਥੀ ਗਜੀ ਹਨਿ ਡਾਰੇ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਨਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਹਰਿ ॥੫੩॥
ho rathee gajee han ddaare sasatr anik prahar |53|He killed the charioteers and the elephants by striking many weapons. 53.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥

ਸਪਤਾਵਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਬਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਰੇ ॥
sapataavat nrip baal nihaare |Raja Kumari saw seven kings coming.
ਅਮਿਤ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਿ ਬਿਸਿਖ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥
amit kop kar bisikh prahaare |Being very angry, he shot arrows at them.
ਸ੍ਯੰਦਨ ਸਹਿਤ ਸੂਤ ਸਭ ਘਾਏ ॥
sayandan sahit soot sabh ghaae |Killed all the charioteers including the charioteers
ਸੈਨ ਸਹਿਤ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਲੋਕ ਪਠਾਏ ॥੫੪॥
sain sahit mrit lok patthaae |54|And sent the dead people along with the army. 54.
ਅਵਰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਉਠਿ ਧਾਏ ॥
avar nripat tab hee utth dhaae |(After that) other kings got up and left
ਬਾਧੇ ਗੋਲ ਸਾਮੁਹੇ ਆਏ ॥
baadhe gol saamuhe aae |And came forth (of Raj Kumari) in herds.
ਦਸੌ ਦਿਸਨ ਕ੍ਰੁਧਿਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਢੂਕੇ ॥
dasau disan krudhit hvai dtooke |Enraged from ten directions, they attacked
ਮਾਰੈ ਮਾਰ ਬਕ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਕੂਕੇ ॥੫੫॥
maarai maar bakr te kooke |55|And from the mouth, 'beat, beat,' started cooing. 55.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਬੀਰ ਕੇਤੁ ਬਾਕੋ ਰਥੀ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਕੇਤੁ ਸੁਰ ਗ੍ਯਾਨ ॥
beer ket baako rathee chitr ket sur gayaan |Bir Ketu was a mighty charioteer and Chitra Ketu was as wise as the gods.
ਛਤ੍ਰ ਕੇਤੁ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਅਮਿਟ ਬਿਕਟ ਕੇਤੁ ਬਲਵਾਨ ॥੫੬॥
chhatr ket chhatree amitt bikatt ket balavaan |56|Chhatra Ketu was a brave Chhatri and Bikat Ketu was very strong.56.
ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੇਤੁ ਉਪਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਧੁਜ ਚਿਤ ਅਤਿ ਕੋਪ ਬਢਾਇ ॥
eindr ket upeindr dhuj chit at kop badtaae |Indra Ketu and Upindra Dhuj by increasing anger in the mind
ਗੀਧ ਕੇਤੁ ਦਾਨਵ ਸਹਿਤ ਤਹਾ ਪਹੂੰਚੇ ਆਇ ॥੫੭॥
geedh ket daanav sahit tahaa pahoonche aae |57|And the vulture Ketu came there with the demon. 57.
ਸਪਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਆਯੁਧ ਧਰੇ ਅਮਿਤ ਸੈਨ ਲੈ ਸਾਥ ॥
sapat nripat aayudh dhare amit sain lai saath |The seven kings wearing armor and taking with Amit Sena fell apart
ਧਾਇ ਪਰੇ ਨਾਹਿਨ ਡਰੇ ਕਢੇ ਬਢਾਰੀ ਹਾਥ ॥੫੮॥
dhaae pare naahin ddare kadte badtaaree haath |58|And don't be afraid at all. (They) were holding swords in their hands. 58.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਭਾਰਿ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਧਾਏ ॥
sasatr sanbhaar sooramaa dhaae |The warriors took care of their weapons and walked
ਜੋਰੇ ਸੈਨ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਢਿਗ ਆਏ ॥
jore sain kuar dtig aae |And armed with an army, came to Raj Kumari.
ਆਯੁਧ ਹਾਥ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਧਰੇ ॥
aayudh haath bachitr dhare |Bachitra Dei took the armor in hand
ਅਮਿਤ ਸੁਭਟ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਨ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਰੇ ॥੫੯॥
amit subhatt praanan bin kare |59|And made countless heroes without lives. 59.
ਬੀਰ ਕੇਤੁ ਕੋ ਮੂੰਡ ਉਤਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
beer ket ko moondd utaariyo |(Raj Kumari) cut off Bir Ketu's head
ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਕੇਤੁ ਕਟਿ ਤੇ ਕਟ ਡਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
chitr ket katt te katt ddaariyo |And removed the image of Ketu from Lak.
ਛਤ੍ਰ ਕੇਤੁ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਪੁਨਿ ਘਾਯੋ ॥
chhatr ket chhatree pun ghaayo |Then Chhatra Ketu killed Chhatri
ਬਿਕਟ ਕੇਤੁ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਲੋਕ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥੬੦॥
bikatt ket mrit lok patthaayo |60|And sent Bikat Ketu to the dead people. 60.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੇਤੁ ਉਪਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਧੁਜ ਦੋਨੋ ਹਨੇ ਰਿਸਾਇ ॥
eindr ket upeindr dhuj dono hane risaae |Indra killed both Ketu and Upindra Dhuj in anger
ਗੀਧ ਕੇਤੁ ਦਾਨਵ ਦਿਯੈ ਜਮਪੁਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਪਠਾਇ ॥੬੧॥
geedh ket daanav diyai jamapur bahur patthaae |61|And then sent the vulture Ketu demon Yama people. 61.
ਸੈਨਾ ਸਤਹੂੰ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਨ ਕੀ ਕੋਪਿ ਭਰੀ ਅਰਰਾਇ ॥
sainaa satahoon nripan kee kop bharee araraae |The army of the seven kings was filled with anger and fell.
ਤੇ ਬਾਲਾ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਦਏ ਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਕੇ ਲੋਕ ਪਠਾਇ ॥੬੨॥
te baalaa tab hee de mrit ke lok patthaae |62|That Raj Kumari then sent all the dead people. 62.
ਸੁਮਤ ਕੇਤੁ ਸੂਰਾ ਬਡੋ ਸਮਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੈ ਸੰਗ ॥
sumat ket sooraa baddo samar singh lai sang |Sumat Ketu was a great warrior. He took Samar Singh with him
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੇਤੁ ਲੈ ਦਲ ਚਲਾ ਉਮਡਿ ਚਲੀ ਜਨੁ ਗੰਗ ॥੬੩॥
braham ket lai dal chalaa umadd chalee jan gang |63|And Brahma Ketu also took his party and went as if the Ganga was overflowing. 63.
ਤਾਲ ਕੇਤੁ ਖਟਬਕ੍ਰ ਧੁਜ ਜੋਧਾ ਹੁਤੇ ਬਿਸੇਖ ॥
taal ket khattabakr dhuj jodhaa hute bisekh |Tal Ketu and Khatbakra Dhuj were (two) special warriors.
ਸੋ ਯਾ ਪਰ ਆਵਤ ਭਏ ਕਿਯੈ ਕਾਲ ਕੋ ਭੇਖ ॥੬੪॥
so yaa par aavat bhe kiyai kaal ko bhekh |64|They came to this (Kumari) in black form. 64.
