ਤ੍ਰਿੰਬਕ ਮਹਾ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਜਹਾ ॥
trinbak mahaa rudr hai jahaa |Where Trimbak is Maha Rudra,
ਤ੍ਰਿੰਬਕ ਦਤ ਨਰਾਧਪ ਤਹਾ ॥੧॥
trinbak dat naraadhap tahaa |1|There was a king named Trimbak Dutt. 1.
ਤ੍ਰਿਬੰਕ ਪੁਰ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਬਹੁ ਸੋਹੈ ॥
tribank pur taa ko bahu sohai |His Trimbak Pur was very magnificent,
ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਲੋਕ ਕਹ ਮੋਹੈ ॥
eindr chandr lok kah mohai |Who used to bewitch the people of Indra and Chandra.
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਸਰੀਤਿ ਮਤੀ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
sree rasareet matee tih naaree |Rasarit Mati was his wife.
ਕੰਚਨ ਅਵਟਿ ਸਾਚੇ ਜਨੁ ਢਾਰੀ ॥੨॥
kanchan avatt saache jan dtaaree |2|(It looked like) as if the gold had been melted and molded into a mold. 2.
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੁਹਾਸ ਦੇ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਕੰਨ੍ਯਾ ॥
sree suhaas de taa kee kanayaa |His maiden name was Suhasde (Dei).
ਜਿਹ ਸਮ ਉਪਜੀ ਨਾਰਿ ਨ ਅੰਨ੍ਰਯਾ ॥
jih sam upajee naar na anrayaa |Like which no other man was born.
ਏਕ ਚਤੁਰਿ ਅਰੁ ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਘਨੀ ॥
ek chatur ar sundar ghanee |She was one wise and the other very beautiful,
ਜਿਹ ਸਮਾਨ ਕੋਈ ਨਹਿ ਬਨੀ ॥੩॥
jih samaan koee neh banee |3|The like (beautiful) of which no one else was made. 3.
ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਬਾਗ ਕੋ ਚਲੀ ॥
eik din kuar baag ko chalee |One day Raj Kumari twenty fifty
ਬੀਸ ਪਚਾਸ ਲਏ ਸੰਗ ਅਲੀ ॥
bees pachaas le sang alee |She went to the garden with her friends.
ਜਾਤ ਹੁਤੀ ਮਾਰਗ ਕੇ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
jaat hutee maarag ke maahee |(while) going on the way,
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨਿਰਖਾ ਏਕ ਤਹਾ ਹੀ ॥੪॥
sundar nirakhaa ek tahaa hee |4|So saw a beautiful (man) there. 4.
ਸੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਰਾਜਤ ॥
ser singh tih naam biraajat |His name was Sher Singh. (She was so beautiful that)
ਜਾਹਿ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਰਤਿ ਕੋ ਮਨ ਲਾਜਤ ॥
jaeh nirakh rat ko man laajat |Even Rati (Kaam Dev's wife) used to get shy seeing him.
ਕਹ ਲਗਿ ਤਿਹ ਛਬਿ ਭਾਖਿ ਸੁਨਾਊ ॥
kah lag tih chhab bhaakh sunaaoo |How can I describe her beauty?
ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਕੇਰ ਸੁਭ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਬਨਾਊ ॥੫॥
prabhaa ker subh granth banaaoo |5|Let us make (an) auspicious book for (her) beauty. 5.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਰਾਜ ਸੁਤਾ ਜਬ ਤੇ ਤਿਹ ਗਈ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਕਰਿ ॥
raaj sutaa jab te tih gee nihaar kar |When Raj Kumari went to see him,
ਰਹੀ ਮਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਮਨ ਇਹ ਬਾਤ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ਕਰਿ ॥
rahee mat hvai man ih baat bichaar kar |So (she) was getting excited thinking about this
ਕੋਟਿ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਯਾਹਿ ਬੁਲਾਇਯੈ ॥
kott jatan kar kar kar yaeh bulaaeiyai |That I will call him after making millions of efforts
ਹੋ ਕਾਮ ਕੇਲ ਕਰਿ ਯਾ ਸੌ ਹਰਖ ਕਮਾਇਯੈ ॥੬॥
ho kaam kel kar yaa sau harakh kamaaeiyai |6|And I will get happiness by playing with him. 6.

ਸਖੀ ਏਕ ਤਹ ਦਈ ਪਠਾਇ ॥
sakhee ek tah dee patthaae |(Raj Kumari) sent a Sakhi to him.
ਜਿਹ ਤਿਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਤਿਹ ਲਯੋ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥
jih tih bidh tih layo bulaae |(He) as how he called him.
ਪੜਿ ਪੜਿ ਦੋਹਾ ਛੰਦ ਬਿਹਾਰਹਿ ॥
parr parr dohaa chhand bihaareh |He was performing Raman by reciting a double verse (song).
ਸਕਲ ਮਦਨ ਕੋ ਤਾਪ ਨਿਵਾਰਹਿ ॥੭॥
sakal madan ko taap nivaareh |7|And they were removing all the heat of lust. 7.
ਆਵਤ ਨੈਨ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਕਰਿ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
aavat nain nirakh kar raajaa |When she (Raj Kumari) saw the king coming with her eyes,
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਚਰਿਤ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਸਾਜਾ ॥
eih bidh charit chanchalaa saajaa |So Raj Kumari played the character like this.
ਰੋਮ ਨਾਸ ਤਿਹ ਬਦਨ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥
rom naas tih badan lagaayo |By applying Romanasani on his body (removed the hair and)
ਨਾਰਿ ਭੇਸ ਤਾ ਕਹ ਪਹਿਰਾਯੋ ॥੮॥
naar bhes taa kah pahiraayo |8|He was given women's clothes. 8.
ਝਾਰੂ ਏਕ ਹਾਥ ਤਿਹ ਲਿਯੋ ॥
jhaaroo ek haath tih liyo |He held a broom in one hand
ਦੂਜੇ ਹਾਥ ਟੋਕਰਾ ਦਿਯੋ ॥
dooje haath ttokaraa diyo |And placed the basket in the other.
ਮੁਹਰਨ ਔਰ ਰਪੈਯਨ ਭਰੋ ॥
muharan aauar rapaiyan bharo |(box) filled with stamps and rupees
ਤਾਹਿ ਚੰਡਾਰੀ ਭਾਖਿਨਿ ਕਰੋ ॥੯॥
taeh chanddaaree bhaakhin karo |9|And called her a mouse. 9.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਆਗੇ ਕਰਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਨਿਕਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
nrip aage kar taeh nikaariyo |Removed him from the presence of the king.
ਮੂੜ ਭੂਪ ਨਹਿ ਭੇਦ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
moorr bhoop neh bhed bichaariyo |But the foolish king did not understand anything.
ਕਾਢਿ ਖੜਗ ਤਿਹ ਹਨਤ ਨ ਭਯੋ ॥
kaadt kharrag tih hanat na bhayo |Do not take out the sword and kill him
ਜਾਨਿ ਚੰਡਾਰ ਤਾਹਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਗਯੋ ॥੧੦॥
jaan chanddaar taeh nrip gayo |10|And thinking her a mouse, the king left. 10.
ਜਿਨ ਇਹ ਮੋਰ ਅੰਗ ਛੁਹਿ ਜਾਇ ॥
jin ih mor ang chhuhi jaae |(The king used to think that) May my body be touched
ਮੁਝੈ ਕਰੈ ਅਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
mujhai karai apavitr banaae |And let me be defiled.
ਤਾਹਿ ਪਛਾਨਿ ਪਕਰਿ ਨਹਿ ਲਯੋ ॥
taeh pachhaan pakar neh layo |Couldn't catch him by recognizing him
ਲੈ ਮੁਹਰੈ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਘਰ ਗਯੋ ॥੧੧॥
lai muharai sundar ghar gayo |11|And with the seals he went to the beautiful (man) house. 11.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਤੀਨ ਸੌ ਸਤਤਰ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੩੭੭॥੬੮੦੮॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade teen sau satatar charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |377|6808|afajoon|Here ends the 377th chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious.377.6808. goes on
