ਸੋਇ ਰਹੈ ਤ੍ਯੋਂ ਹੀ ਲਪਟਾਈ ॥੧੪॥
soe rahai tayon hee lapattaaee |14|And she used to sleep with her wrapped in the same way. 14.
ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਗਈ ਜਾਰ ਪਹਿ ਰਾਨੀ ॥
eik din gee jaar peh raanee |One day Rani went to Yar,
ਸੋਵਤ ਜਗਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ ॥
sovat jagaa nripat abhimaanee |Then the sleeping proud king also woke up.
ਮੁਖ ਚੁੰਬਨ ਤਿਹ ਤਾਹਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਾ ॥
mukh chunban tih taeh nihaaraa |He saw her kissing her face
ਧ੍ਰਿਗ ਧ੍ਰਿਗ ਬਚ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕੋਪ ਉਚਾਰਾ ॥੧੫॥
dhrig dhrig bach hvai kop uchaaraa |15|And got angry and started saying 'Dhrig Dhrig'. 15.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਮੈ ਇਹ ਬੋਲੀ ਪੂਤ ਕਹਿ ਯਾ ਸੰਗ ਅਤਿ ਮੁਰ ਪ੍ਯਾਰ ॥
mai ih bolee poot keh yaa sang at mur payaar |(Queen) started saying that I have called him son, I have great love for him.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਮੁਖ ਚੁੰਬਤ ਹੁਤੀ ਸੁਤ ਕੀ ਜਨੁ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ॥੧੬॥
taa te mukh chunbat hutee sut kee jan anusaar |16|That is why I have kissed it considering it to be my son's nuhar. 16.

ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੇ ਸਾਚ ਇਹੈ ਜਿਯ ਆਈ ॥
nrip ke saach ihai jiy aaee |The same thing came to the mind of the king
ਪੂਤ ਜਾਨਿ ਚੁੰਬਨ ਮੁਖ ਧਾਈ ॥
poot jaan chunban mukh dhaaee |That she has gone to kiss (his) face mistaking it for a son.
ਕੋਪ ਜੁ ਬਢਾ ਹੁਤਾ ਤਜਿ ਦੀਨਾ ॥
kop ju badtaa hutaa taj deenaa |Released (the king) who was angry.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਛੂ ਨਹਿ ਚੀਨਾ ॥੧੭॥
bhed abhed kachhoo neh cheenaa |17|(That fool) did not understand anything indistinct. 17.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਇਹ ਛਲ ਬੰਗਸ ਰਾਇ ਕਹ ਰਾਖਾ ਅਪਨੇ ਧਾਮ ॥
eih chhal bangas raae kah raakhaa apane dhaam |With this trick, Bangam kept Rai in his house.
ਦਿਨ ਕਹ ਪੂਤ ਉਚਾਰਈ ਨਿਸਿ ਕਹ ਭੋਗੈ ਬਾਮ ॥੧੮॥
din kah poot uchaaree nis kah bhogai baam |18|(That) the woman used to call him son during the day and indulged him at night. 18.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਦੋਇ ਸੌ ਪਚਾਨਵੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨੯੫॥੫੬੩੮॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade doe sau pachaanavo charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |295|5638|afajoon|Here ends the 295th charitra of Mantri Bhup Sambad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 295.5638. goes on

ਬੰਗਸ ਸੈਨ ਬੰਗਸੀ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
bangas sain bangasee raajaa |There was a king of Bangus named Bangus Sen,
ਸਦਨੁ ਭਰੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਸਾਜਾ ॥
sadan bhare jaa ke sabh saajaa |whose houses were full of furniture.
ਬੰਗਸ ਦੇ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਘਰ ਰਾਨੀ ॥
bangas de taa ko ghar raanee |In his house was a queen named Bangas (Dei).
ਜਿਹ ਲਖਿ ਨਾਰਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਕ ਰਿਸਾਨੀ ॥੧॥
jih lakh naar trilok risaanee |1|Seeing him, the wives of the three people used to get angry (meaning they were jealous).1.
ਤਹਾ ਬਸਤ ਇਕ ਸਾਹ ਦੁਲਾਰੀ ॥
tahaa basat ik saah dulaaree |Shah's daughter lived there.
ਰੂਪਮਾਨ ਗਤਿਮਾਨ ਉਜਿਯਾਰੀ ॥
roopamaan gatimaan ujiyaaree |She was graceful, playful and bright in appearance.
ਤਾਹਿ ਮੰਗਲਾ ਦੇਈ ਨਾਮਾ ॥
taeh mangalaa deee naamaa |Her name was Mangala Dei.
ਜਾ ਸਮ ਨਹੀ ਕਾਮ ਕੀ ਕਾਮਾ ॥੨॥
jaa sam nahee kaam kee kaamaa |2|There was no woman (rati) of lust like her. 2.
ਤਹ ਇਕ ਆਇ ਗਯੋ ਬਨਿਜਾਰਾ ॥
tah ik aae gayo banijaaraa |A merchant came there
ਮੋਤਿਨ ਲਾਦੇ ਉਸਟ ਹਜਾਰਾ ॥
motin laade usatt hajaaraa |(who) had thousands of camels laden with pearls.
ਔਰ ਦਰਬੁ ਕੀ ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
aauar darab kee tott na koee |(He) had no shortage of money.
ਲਖੈ ਸੁ ਹਰਤ ਰੀਝਿ ਕਰਿ ਸੋਈ ॥੩॥
lakhai su harat reejh kar soee |3|(Whoever sees her), she becomes enchanted. 3.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਜਬੈ ਮੰਗਲਾ ਦੇਵਿ ਸੁ ਸਾਹੁ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
jabai mangalaa dev su saahu nihaariyo |When Mangala Devi saw that Shah (merchant).
ਇਹੈ ਆਪਨੇ ਚਿਤ ਮਹਿ ਚਤੁਰਿ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
eihai aapane chit meh chatur bichaariyo |(So) that clever (woman) thought in her mind.
ਕਰਤ ਭਈ ਮਿਜਮਾਨੀ ਸਦਨ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
karat bhee mijamaanee sadan bulaae kai |He invited him home and entertained him
ਹੋ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਆਯੋ ਦਿਯੋ ਉਡਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੪॥
ho bhraat tavan ke aayo diyo uddaae kai |4|And spread this (news) that his brother has come. 4.
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰੇ ਬਨਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
bhaat bhaat ke bhojan kare banaae kai |Prepare (for him) different kinds of food
ਤਰਹ ਤਰਹ ਕੇ ਆਨੇ ਅਮਲ ਛਿਨਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
tarah tarah ke aane amal chhinaae kai |And they used to bring all kinds of drugs.
ਆਨਿ ਤਵਨ ਢਿਗ ਰਾਖੇ ਕੰਚਨ ਥਾਰ ਭਰਿ ॥
aan tavan dtig raakhe kanchan thaar bhar |Put it in a golden plate and keep it in front of him.
ਹੋ ਸਾਤ ਬਾਰ ਮਦਿਯਨ ਤੇ ਮਦਹਿ ਚੁਆਇ ਕਰਿ ॥੫॥
ho saat baar madiyan te madeh chuaae kar |5|Liquor was removed from the vessels seven times. 5.
ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਤਿਨ ਭੋਜਨ ਬਿਜਿਯਾ ਪਾਨ ਕਰਿ ॥
pratham kariyo tin bhojan bijiyaa paan kar |First he drank bhang and ate.
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਪਿਯੋ ਮਦ ਬਡੇ ਬਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਲਾਨ ਭਰਿ ॥
bahur piyo mad badde badde prayaalaan bhar |Then put it in big glasses and drink it.
ਜਬ ਰਸ ਮਸ ਭੇ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਤਬੈ ਐਸੋ ਕੀਯੋ ॥
jab ras mas bhe tarun tabai aaiso keeyo |When (both) juices gave her pleasure, then (that) woman did thus.
ਹੋ ਪਕਰਿ ਭੁਜਾ ਤੇ ਸਾਹੁ ਸੇਜ ਊਪਰਿ ਲੀਯੋ ॥੬॥
ho pakar bhujaa te saahu sej aoopar leeyo |6|He took Shah by the arm and took him to the sedge. 6.
ਤਾ ਸੌ ਕਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਉ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੀੜਾ ਕਰੈ ॥
taa sau kahaa ki aau kaam kreerraa karai |He started saying that let's play sexual games.
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਨ ਤਾਪ ਮਦਨ ਕੋ ਹਮ ਹਰੈ ॥
bhaat bhaat tan taap madan ko ham harai |Let us remove the heat of lust in different ways.
ਮੈ ਤਰੁਨੀ ਤੈਂ ਤਰੁਨ ਕਹਾ ਚਕਿਚਿਤ ਰਹਿਯੋ ॥
mai tarunee tain tarun kahaa chakichit rahiyo |The woman said, I am young, you are also young, (then) why are you surprised,
ਹੋ ਹਮ ਤੁਮ ਰਮਹਿ ਸੁ ਆਜੁ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਅਸ ਕਹਿਯੋ ॥੭॥
ho ham tum rameh su aaj chanchalaa as kahiyo |7|(Come) let me and you have fun. 7.
