ਮਾਨਹੁ ਰੰਕ ਨਵੌ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੧੪॥

He pulled her towards him like a treasure coming into the hands of a pauper.(14)

Savaiyya

ਮੀਤ ਅਲਿੰਗਨ ਆਸਨ ਚੁੰਬਨ ਕੀਨੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਤੇ ਕੌਨ ਗਨੈ ॥
meet alingan aasan chunban keene anek te kauan ganai |

He performed sex and had kisses in so many ways that no one could count.

ਮੁਸਕਾਤ ਲਜਾਤ ਕਛੂ ਲਲਤਾ ਸੁ ਬਿਲਾਸ ਲਸੈ ਪਿਯ ਸਾਥ ਤਨੈ ॥
musakaat lajaat kachhoo lalataa su bilaas lasai piy saath tanai |

The woman, feeling shy but smiling, remained affixed to his body.

ਝਮਕੈ ਜਰ ਜੇਬ ਜਰਾਇਨ ਕੀ ਦਮਕੈ ਮਨੋ ਦਾਮਨਿ ਬੀਚ ਘਨੈ ॥
jhamakai jar jeb jaraaein kee damakai mano daaman beech ghanai |

Her embroidered clothes were shinning like lightening in the clouds.

ਲਖਿ ਨੈਕੁ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਸਜਨੀ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਰਹੀਅਤਿ ਰੀਸਿ ਮਨੈ ॥੧੫॥
lakh naik prabhaa sajanee sabh hee ih bhaat raheeat rees manai |15|

Beholding all this, all her friends got envious in their minds.(15)

ਕੰਚਨ ਸੇ ਤਨ ਹੈ ਰਮਨੀਯ ਦ੍ਰਿਗੰਚਲ ਚੰਚਲ ਹੈ ਅਨਿਯਾਰੇ ॥
kanchan se tan hai ramaneey driganchal chanchal hai aniyaare |

Their bodies sparkled like gold and their coquettish eyes were as sharp as arrows.

ਖੰਜਨ ਸੇ ਮਨ ਰੰਜਨ ਰਾਜਤ ਕੰਜਨ ਸੇ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਕਜਰਾਰੇ ॥
khanjan se man ranjan raajat kanjan se at hee kajaraare |

They were looking as the epitome ofthe pied-wagtail and cuckoo birds.

ਰੀਝਤ ਦੇਵ ਅਦੇਵ ਲਖੇ ਛਬਿ ਮੈਨ ਮਨੋ ਦੋਊ ਸਾਚਨ ਢਾਰੇ ॥
reejhat dev adev lakhe chhab main mano doaoo saachan dtaare |

Even god and devils got satiated and they looked as if the Cupid had cast them in a mould.

ਜੋਬਨ ਜੇਬ ਜਗੇ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਸੁਭ ਬਾਲ ਬਨੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਗ ਲਾਲ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ॥੧੬॥
joban jeb jage at hee subh baal bane drig laal tihaare |16|

‘Oh, My Love, under .the prime of youth, your two eyes are the embodiment of red-rubies.’(16)

Dohira

ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੁਹਾਨ ਕੀ ਅਤਿ ਬਢੀ ਤ੍ਰੀਯ ਪਿਯਾ ਕੇ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
preet duhaan kee at badtee treey piyaa ke maeh |

Their love reached the extremes and she felt as if she was amalgamated with the lover.

ਪਟ ਛੂਟ੍ਯੋ ਨਿਰਪਟ ਭਏ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਕਪਟ ਕਛੁ ਨਾਹਿ ॥੧੭॥
patt chhoottayo nirapatt bhe rahiyo kapatt kachh naeh |17|

They both got rid of their aprons and remained there with no secret in between.(17)

ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਆਸਨ ਕਰੈ ਤਰੁਨ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਲਪਟਾਇ ॥
bhaat bhaat aasan karai tarun tarun lapattaae |

Cuddling and cuddling each other they indulged in taking various position,

ਮੋਦ ਦੁਹਨ ਕੋ ਅਤਿ ਬਢ੍ਯੋ ਗਨਨਾ ਗਨੀ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੮॥
mod duhan ko at badtayo gananaa ganee na jaae |18|

And the urge achieved the extremes and they lost the counts.(18)

Chaupaee

ਚਿਮਟਿ ਚਿਮਟਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੇਲ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥
chimatt chimatt nrip kel kamaavai |

ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਤਰੁਨੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
lapatt lapatt tarunee sukh paavai |

Embracing and snuggling the Raja was enjoying the love-making,

ਬਹਸਿ ਬਹਸਿ ਆਲਿੰਗਨ ਕਰਹੀ ॥
bahas bahas aalingan karahee |

And, by squeezing and clasping the woman, he was feeling blissful.

ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਸੌ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਰੀ ॥੧੯॥
bhaat bhaat sau bachan ucharee |19|

Laughing and smiling she made love and expressed loudly her contentment.(19)

ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਆਸਨ ਕਰੈ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇ ॥
bhaat bhaat aasan karai bhaat bhaat sukh paae |

Adopting different postures she took positions and experienced alleviations.

ਲਪਟਿ ਲਪਟਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰਮੈ ਚਿਮਟਿ ਚਿਮਟਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਜਾਇ ॥੨੦॥
lapatt lapatt sundar ramai chimatt chimatt triy jaae |20|

Embracing and cuddling they indulged ravishingly and the woman felt fulfilment by nuzzling.(20)

Chaupaee

ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੇ ਅਮਲ ਮੰਗਾਏ ॥
bhaat bhaat ke amal mangaae |

ਬਿਬਿਧ ਬਿਧਨ ਪਕਵਾਨ ਪਕਾਏ ॥
bibidh bidhan pakavaan pakaae |

They acquired various intoxicants and arranged many viands.

ਦਾਰੂ ਪੋਸਤ ਔਰ ਧਤੂਰੋ ॥
daaroo posat aauar dhatooro |

ਪਾਨ ਡਰਾਇ ਕਸੁੰਭੜੋ ਰੂਰੋ ॥੨੧॥
paan ddaraae kasunbharro rooro |21|

Also obtained wine, marijuana and weeds and chewed beetle-nuts laden with safflowers.(21)

ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

Dohira

ਅਮਿਤ ਆਫੂਆ ਕੀ ਬਰੀ ਖਾਇ ਚੜਾਈ ਭੰਗ ॥
amit aafooaa kee baree khaae charraaee bhang |

After taking very strong opium and cannabis,

ਚਤੁਰ ਪਹਰ ਭੋਗਿਯੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਹਿ ਤਉ ਨ ਮੁਚਿਯੋ ਅਨੰਗ ॥੨੨॥
chatur pahar bhogiyo triyeh tau na muchiyo anang |22|

They made love during all the four watches bUt never felt satiated,(22)

ਤਰੁਨ ਤਰੁਨ ਤਰੁਨੀ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਤਰੁਨ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੀ ਜੌਨ ॥
tarun tarun tarunee tarun tarun chandr kee jauan |

As both, the man and the women, were at the prime of youth and the Moon was in full swings too.

ਕੇਲ ਕਰੈ ਬਿਹਸੈ ਦੋਊ ਹਾਰਿ ਹਟੈ ਸੋ ਕੌਨ ॥੨੩॥
kel karai bihasai doaoo haar hattai so kauan |23|

They made love with gratification and none would accept the defeat.(23)

ਚਤੁਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਚਤੁਰਾ ਚਤੁਰ ਤਰੁਨ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਕੌ ਪਾਇ ॥
chatur purakh chaturaa chatur tarun tarun kau paae |

The wise man always seeks and gets a wise and young woman,

ਬਿਹਸ ਬਿਹਸ ਲਾਵੈ ਗਰੇ ਛਿਨਕਿ ਨ ਛੋਰਿਯੋ ਜਾਇ ॥੨੪॥
bihas bihas laavai gare chhinak na chhoriyo jaae |24|

And happily and cheerfully clUtches her and leaves her not.(24)

Chaupaee

ਜੋ ਚਤੁਰਾ ਚਤੁਰਾ ਕੌ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
jo chaturaa chaturaa kau paavai |

ਕਬਹੂੰ ਨ ਛਿਨ ਚਿਤ ਤੇ ਬਿਸਰਾਵੈ ॥
kabahoon na chhin chit te bisaraavai |

When a clever one meets a smart one, one does not wish to forsake the other.

ਜੜ ਕੁਰੂਪ ਕੌ ਚਿਤਹਿ ਨ ਧਰੈ ॥
jarr kuroop kau chiteh na dharai |

ਮਨ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਬਚ ਤਾਹੀ ਤੌ ਬਰੈ ॥੨੫॥
man kram bach taahee tau barai |25|

The diverse ones, he considers imprudent and ugly in his heart and keeps his mind and words to marry the first one.(25)

Dohira

ਚੰਦਨ ਕੀ ਚੌਕੀ ਭਲੀ ਕਾਸਟ ਦ੍ਰੁਮ ਕਿਹ ਕਾਜ ॥
chandan kee chauakee bhalee kaasatt drum kih kaaj |

Sandal-woods stool is better but what use is the huge piece of wood.

ਚਤੁਰਾ ਕੋ ਨੀਕੋ ਚਿਤ੍ਰਯੋ ਕਹਾ ਮੂੜ ਕੋ ਰਾਜ ॥੨੬॥
chaturaa ko neeko chitrayo kahaa moorr ko raaj |26|

A wise woman longs for a perceptive man, but what will she do with a fool?(26)

Sortha

ਤਰੁਨਿ ਪਤਰਿਯਾ ਨੀਕ ਚਪਲ ਚੀਤਿ ਭੀਤਰ ਚੁਭਿਯੋ ॥
tarun patariyaa neek chapal cheet bheetar chubhiyo |

The young husband is kind and he makes his home in her heart.

ਅਧਿਕ ਪਿਯਰਵਾ ਮੀਤ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਨ ਬਿਸਰਤ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਤੇ ॥੨੭॥
adhik piyaravaa meet kabahoon na bisarat hridai te |27|

He endows her lot of love and is never disregarded.(27)

ਰੀਝ ਰਹੀ ਅਬਲਾ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਪਿਯ ਰੂਪ ਅਨੂਪ ਲਖੇ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
reejh rahee abalaa at hee piy roop anoop lakhe man maahee |
