ਛਾਗੜਦੰ ਛੂਟੇ ਬਾਗੜਦੰ ਬਾਣੰ ॥
chhaagarradan chhootte baagarradan baanan |The arrows are being released.
ਰਾਗੜਦੰ ਰੋਕੀ ਦਾਗੜਦੰ ਦਿਸਾਣੰ ॥੪੪੬॥
raagarradan rokee daagarradan disaanan |446|The king was released and he ran away alongwith his army, with the discharge of arrows all the directions were covered.446.
ਮਾਗੜਦੰ ਮਾਰੇ ਬਾਗੜਦੰ ਬਾਣੰ ॥
maagarradan maare baagarradan baanan |Arrows are being shot.
ਟਾਗੜਦੰ ਟੂਟੇ ਤਾਗੜਦੰ ਤਾਣੰ ॥
ttaagarradan ttootte taagarradan taanan |(The enemy's) heart is breaking.
ਲਾਗੜਦੰ ਲਾਗੇ ਦਾਗੜਦੰ ਦਾਹੇ ॥
laagarradan laage daagarradan daahe |(of fire-arrows) have been burnt up.
ਡਾਗੜਦੰ ਡਾਰੇ ਬਾਗੜਦੰ ਬਾਹੇ ॥੪੪੭॥
ddaagarradan ddaare baagarradan baahe |447|By discharging the arrows, the pride of all was mashed, with the infliction of arrows all the warriors were weakened, their weapons fell down from their hands.447.
ਬਾਗੜਦੰ ਬਰਖੇ ਫਾਗੜਦੰ ਫੂਲੰ ॥
baagarradan barakhe faagarradan foolan |It is raining flowers.
ਮਾਗੜਦੰ ਮਿਟਿਓ ਸਾਗੜਦੰ ਸੂਲੰ ॥
maagarradan mittio saagarradan soolan |The misery (of Sambhal residents) is over.
ਮਾਗੜਦੰ ਮਾਰਿਓ ਭਾਗੜਦੰ ਭੂਪੰ ॥
maagarradan maario bhaagarradan bhoopan |has killed the king.
ਕਾਗੜਦੰ ਕੋਪੇ ਰਾਗੜਦੰ ਰੂਪੰ ॥੪੪੮॥
kaagarradan kope raagarradan roopan |448|The flowers were showered from the sky and in this way, the trouble ended, the kalki incarnation in his fury, killed the king.448.
ਜਾਗੜਦੰ ਜੰਪੈ ਪਾਗੜਦੰ ਪਾਨੰ ॥
jaagarradan janpai paagarradan paanan |Jai-Jai-Kar ('Panan') sounds.
ਦਾਗੜਦੰ ਦੇਵੰ ਆਗੜਦੰ ਆਨੰ ॥
daagarradan devan aagarradan aanan |The gods are attending.
ਸਾਗੜਦੰ ਸਿਧੰ ਕਾਗੜਦੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ॥
saagarradan sidhan kaagarradan krit |The righteous people (of Kalki)
ਬਾਗੜਦੰ ਬਨਾਏ ਕਾਗੜਦੰ ਕਬਿਤੰ ॥੪੪੯॥
baagarradan banaae kaagarradan kabitan |449|The gods came from the front and catching the feet of the Lord (Kalki) eulogized him, the adepts also composed epics in Praise of the Lord.449.
ਰਾਗੜਦੰ ਗਾਵੈ ਕਾਗੜਦੰ ਕਬਿਤੰ ॥
raagarradan gaavai kaagarradan kabitan |(The four people) sing poems.
ਧਾਗੜਦੰ ਧਾਵੈ ਬਾਗੜਦੰ ਬਿਤ੍ਰੰ ॥
dhaagarradan dhaavai baagarradan bitran |Servants or Lagi ('Britain') are running away.
ਹਾਗੜਦੰ ਹੋਹੀ ਜਾਗੜਦੰ ਜਾਤ੍ਰਾ ॥
haagarradan hohee jaagarradan jaatraa |The darshan ('jatra') (of Kalki) is being done by them.
ਨਾਗੜਦੰ ਨਾਚੈ ਪਾਗੜਦੰ ਪਾਤ੍ਰਾ ॥੪੫੦॥
naagarradan naachai paagarradan paatraa |450|For eulogizing the Lord, the epics were sung and the praise of the Lord spread in all the four sides, the pious people began pilgrimages and the true devotees of the Lord began to dance.450.
ਪਾਧਰੀ ਛੰਦ ॥
paadharee chhand |PAADHARI STANZA
ਸੰਭਰ ਨਰੇਸ ਮਾਰਿਓ ਨਿਦਾਨ ॥
sanbhar nares maario nidaan |Finally the king of Sambhal was killed.
ਢੋਲੰ ਮਿਦੰਗ ਬਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ॥
dtolan midang baje pramaan |Drums and nagares were played according to the rules ('Pramana').
ਭਾਜੇ ਸੁਬੀਰ ਤਜਿ ਜੁਧ ਤ੍ਰਾਸਿ ॥
bhaaje subeer taj judh traas |Heroes are fleeing the war due to fear.
ਤਜਿ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਰਬ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਚਿਤਿ ਨਿਰਾਸ ॥੪੫੧॥
taj sasatr sarab hvai chit niraas |451|Ultimately, the king of Sambhal was killed, the small and large drums sounded, the warriors, frightened of war ran away and getting disappointed, they abandoned all the weapons.451.
ਬਰਖੰਤ ਦੇਵ ਪੁਹਪਣ ਬ੍ਰਿਸਟ ॥
barakhant dev puhapan brisatt |The gods shower flowers.
ਹੋਵੰਤ ਜਗ ਜਹ ਤਹ ਸੁ ਇਸਟ ॥
hovant jag jah tah su isatt |Where Yagyas have started taking place according to (their own) wishes.
ਪੂਜੰਤ ਲਾਗ ਦੇਵੀ ਕਰਾਲ ॥
poojant laag devee karaal |They have engaged in the worship of the terrible goddess.
ਹੋਵੰਤ ਸਿਧ ਕਾਰਜ ਸੁ ਢਾਲ ॥੪੫੨॥
hovant sidh kaaraj su dtaal |452|The gods showered flowers and everywhere the patron-god was worshipped, the people adored the dreadful goddess and many works were finalized.452.
ਪਾਵੰਤ ਦਾਨ ਜਾਚਕ ਦੁਰੰਤ ॥
paavant daan jaachak durant |Countless ('durant') beggars are receiving alms.
ਭਾਖੰਤ ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਜਹ ਤਹ ਬਿਅੰਤ ॥
bhaakhant krit jah tah biant |Where endless (people) are singing Yash (Glory).
ਜਗ ਧੂਪ ਦੀਪ ਜਗਿ ਆਦਿ ਦਾਨ ॥
jag dhoop deep jag aad daan |Incense, lamps, donations and sacrifices etc.
ਹੋਵੰਤ ਹੋਮ ਬੇਦਨ ਬਿਧਾਨ ॥੪੫੩॥
hovant hom bedan bidhaan |453|The beggars received charity and everywhere the poems were composed, the Yajnas, burning of incense, lighting of lamps, the charities etc. were all done according to vedic rites.453.
ਪੂਜੰਤ ਲਾਗ ਦੇਬੀ ਦੁਰੰਤ ॥
poojant laag debee durant |(People) have started worshiping Prachanda Devi.
ਤਜਿ ਸਰਬ ਕਾਮ ਜਹ ਤਹ ਮਹੰਤ ॥
taj sarab kaam jah tah mahant |The mahants have given up all the karmic cases.
ਬਾਧੀ ਧੁਜਾਨ ਪਰਮੰ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ॥
baadhee dhujaan paraman prachandd |Big flags are tied on (temples).
ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰਿਓ ਸੁ ਧਰਮ ਖੰਡੇ ਅਖੰਡ ॥੪੫੪॥
prachurio su dharam khandde akhandd |454|The heads of hermitages, leaving all other works, worshipped the goddess, the powerful goddess was established again and in this way, there was propagation of the perfect Dharma.454.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੇ ਕਲਕੀ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸੰਭਰ ਨਰੇਸ ਬਧਹ ਬਿਜਯ ਭਏਤ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਧਿਆਇ ਬਰਨਨੰ ਸਮਾਪਤੰ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧॥

ath desantar judh kathanan |Now begins the description of war with various countries.

ਹਣ੍ਯੋ ਸੰਭਰੇਸੰ ॥
hanayo sanbharesan |The king of Sambhar (Sambhal) has been killed.
ਚਤੁਰ ਚਾਰੁ ਦੇਸੰ ॥
chatur chaar desan |Among the fourteen people
ਚਲੀ ਧਰਮ ਚਰਚਾ ॥
chalee dharam charachaa |The discussion of religion has started.
ਕਰੈ ਕਾਲ ਅਰਚਾ ॥੪੫੫॥
karai kaal arachaa |455|The king of Sambhal was killed and there was discussion regarding dharma in all the four directions, people made offerings to Kalki.455.
ਜਿਤਿਓ ਦੇਸ ਐਸੇ ॥
jitio des aaise |In this way the whole country has been conquered.
ਚੜਿਓ ਕੋਪ ਕੈਸੇ ॥
charrio kop kaise |(Then the Kalki avatar) got angry and ascended.
ਬੁਲਿਓ ਸਰਬ ਸੈਣੰ ॥
bulio sarab sainan |(He) has called the whole army
ਕਰੇ ਰਕਤ ਨੈਣੰ ॥੪੫੬॥
kare rakat nainan |456|While the whole of the country was conquered, kalki got infuriated and he reddening his eyes, called all his army.456.
ਦਈ ਜੀਤ ਬੰਬੰ ॥
dee jeet banban |Jit's bell has sounded.
ਗਡਿਓ ਜੁਧ ਖੰਭੰ ॥
gaddio judh khanbhan |The pole has been broken in the war-ground.
