ਕਢੈ ਦੈਤ ਰਨ ਦਾਤ ਬਿਹਾਰਤ ॥
kadtai dait ran daat bihaarat |(Somewhere) the giants were wandering in the wilderness with their teeth bared
ਭੂਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਤਾਲੀ ਕਹ ਮਾਰਤ ॥
bhoot pret taalee kah maarat |And the ghosts were cheering.
ਉਲਕਾ ਪਾਤ ਹੋਤ ਆਕਾਸਾ ॥
aulakaa paat hot aakaasaa |Stars or embers ('meteors') used to fall from the sky.
ਅਸੁਰ ਸੈਨ ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਭਯੋ ਨਾਸਾ ॥੩੫੭॥
asur sain ih bidh bhayo naasaa |357|In this way the giant army was destroyed. 357.
ਬਹਤ ਅਮਿਤ ਰਨ ਪਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਾ ॥
bahat amit ran pavan prachanddaa |A very strong wind was blowing in the desert.
ਦਿਖਿਯਤ ਪਰੇ ਸੁਭਟ ਖੰਡ ਖੰਡਾ ॥
dikhiyat pare subhatt khandd khanddaa |(There) warriors lying in pieces were seen.
ਕਾਕਨਿ ਕੁਹਕਿ ਮਾਨਵਤਿ ਤਾਤੀ ॥
kaakan kuhak maanavat taatee |The ravens were crowing in a shrill tone,
ਫਾਗੁਨ ਜਾਨੁ ਕੋਕਿਲਾ ਮਾਤੀ ॥੩੫੮॥
faagun jaan kokilaa maatee |358|As if the cuckoos are talking drunkenly in the month of Fagan. 358.
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਸ੍ਰੋਨ ਕੁੰਡਿ ਭਰਿ ਗਯੋ ॥
eih bidh sron kundd bhar gayo |Thus the pool of blood was filled,
ਦੂਸਰ ਮਾਨਸਰੋਵਰ ਭਯੋ ॥
doosar maanasarovar bhayo |(Assume) the second Mansarovar has happened.
ਸੇਤ ਛਤ੍ਰੁ ਤਹ ਹੰਸ ਬਿਰਾਜੈ ॥
set chhatru tah hans biraajai |Broken (white) umbrellas were adorning like swans
ਅਨਤ ਸਾਜ ਜਲ ਜਿਯ ਸੇ ਰਾਜੈ ॥੩੫੯॥
anat saaj jal jiy se raajai |359|And other equipment looked like water creatures ('Jal-Jiya').359.
ਟੂਕ ਟੂਕ ਦੰਤੀ ਕਹੂੰ ਭਏ ॥
ttook ttook dantee kahoon bhe |There were broken elephants lying somewhere
ਤਿਲ ਤਿਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਇ ਸੁਭਟ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਏ ॥
til til praae subhatt hvai ge |And the warriors were lying like a mole.
ਸ੍ਰੋਨਤ ਧਾਰਿ ਬਹੀ ਇਕ ਬਾਰਾ ॥
sronat dhaar bahee ik baaraa |A stream of blood was flowing on one side,
ਭਈ ਧੂਰਿ ਰਨ ਕੀ ਸਭ ਗਾਰਾ ॥੩੬੦॥
bhee dhoor ran kee sabh gaaraa |360|(Because of which) the soil of the Rann had become silt. 360.
ਨੇਜਬਾਜ ਬਹੁ ਬੀਰ ਸੰਘਾਰੇ ॥
nejabaaj bahu beer sanghaare |The snipers had killed many heroes
ਪ੍ਰੋਏ ਬਰਾ ਸੀਖ ਭਟਿਯਾਰੇ ॥
proe baraa seekh bhattiyaare |(As if) Bhattiars were well trained in Sikhs.
ਟੂਕ ਟੂਕ ਭਟ ਰਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹੇ ॥
ttook ttook bhatt ran hvai rahe |In the battlefield, the heroes lay in pieces,
ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਘਾਵ ਸਰੋਹਿਨ ਬਹੇ ॥੩੬੧॥
jin ke ghaav sarohin bahe |361|On whose wounds Sarohi (sword) ran. 361.
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਅਮਿਤ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਿ ਕਾਲਾ ॥
eih bidh amit kop kar kaalaa |In this way the call is very angry
ਕਾਢਤ ਭਯੋ ਦਾਤ ਬਿਕਰਾਲਾ ॥
kaadtat bhayo daat bikaraalaa |Horrible teething began.
ਛਿਪ੍ਰ ਹਨੇ ਛਿਨ ਮਾਝ ਛਤ੍ਰਾਲੇ ॥
chhipr hane chhin maajh chhatraale |They quickly killed the umbrellas
ਸੂਰਬੀਰ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਮੁਛਾਲੇ ॥੩੬੨॥
soorabeer balavaan muchhaale |362|Who was a warrior, strong and strong. 362.

tab asidhuj as mantr bichaaro |Then Asidhuja (Maha Kala) thought thus
ਜਿਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਤੇ ਦਾਨਵਹਿ ਸੰਘਾਰੋ ॥੩੬੩॥
jih bidh te daanaveh sanghaaro |363|In such a way that giants can be killed. 363.
ਸਰਬਾਕਰਖਨ ਕਿਯ ਅਸਿਧੁਜ ਜਬ ॥
sarabaakarakhan kiy asidhuj jab |When the Great Age (with its power) pulled everyone.
ਉਪਜਤ ਤੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਅਸੁਰ ਤਬ ॥
aupajat te reh ge asur tab |Then the giants ceased to be born.
ਆਗ੍ਯਾ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਕਾਲਿ ਕਹ ਦਈ ॥
aagayaa bahur kaal kah dee |Then he gave permission to 'Kali'.
ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸੈਨ ਭਛਨ ਕਰਿ ਗਈ ॥੩੬੪॥

ਏਕੈ ਅਸੁਰ ਤਬੈ ਰਹਿ ਗਯੋ ॥

ਤ੍ਰਾਸਿਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਚਿਤ ਮਹਿ ਭਯੋ ॥
traasit adhik chit meh bhayo |He was very scared in his mind.
ਹਾਇ ਹਾਇ ਕਸ ਕਰੌ ਉਪਾਵਾ ॥
haae haae kas karau upaavaa |Hi hi' started thinking about what should be done.
ਅਸ ਕੋਈ ਚਲਤ ਨੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਾਵਾ ॥੩੬੫॥
as koee chalat ne meraa daavaa |365|Now I don't have any claim (or claim). 365.

aauar na upajaa doosar jag bhachhiyo sabhai banaae |366|Another (giant) was not born in the world, (Kali) ate them all. 366.
ਜੋ ਪੂਜਾ ਅਸਿਕੇਤੁ ਕੀ ਨਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਕਰੈ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
jo poojaa asiket kee nit prat karai banaae |Those who worship Asiketu (the great age) every day,
ਤਿਨ ਪਰ ਅਪਨੋ ਹਾਥ ਦੈ ਅਸਿਧੁਜ ਲੇਤ ਬਚਾਇ ॥੩੬੭॥
tin par apano haath dai asidhuj let bachaae |367|Asidhuj saves them by giving his hand. 367.

ਦੁਸਟ ਦੈਤ ਕਛੁ ਬਾਤ ਨ ਜਾਨੀ ॥

bal apabal apano na bichaaraa |(He) did not consider his own strength and weakness.
ਗਰਬ ਠਾਨਿ ਜਿਯ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਹੰਕਾਰਾ ॥੩੬੮॥
garab tthaan jiy bahur hankaaraa |368|took a lot of pride and pride in my mind. 368.
ਰੇ ਰੇ ਕਾਲ ਫੂਲਿ ਜਿਨਿ ਜਾਹੁ ॥
re re kaal fool jin jaahu |(and began to say) O Kaal! Don't bloom like that,
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਆਨਿ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਮਚਾਹੁ ॥
bahur aan sangraam machaahu |Come and fight (with me) again.
