ਬਿਸਿਖਨ ਬ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਕਰੀ ਕੋਪਹਿ ਕਰਿ ॥
bisikhan brisatt karee kopeh kar |They got angry and fired the arrows (thus).
ਜਲਧਰ ਐਸ ਬਡੇ ਭੂਧਰ ਪਰ ॥
jaladhar aais badde bhoodhar par |As they change on the big mountains.
ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥
sasatr asatr kar kop prahaare |(Asidhuja) got angry and struck with weapons
ਚਟਪਟ ਸੁਭਟ ਬਿਕਟਿ ਕਟਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥੨੩੩॥
chattapatt subhatt bikatt katt ddaare |233|And suddenly the terrible warriors fell. 233.
ਹੁਅੰ ਸਬਦ ਅਸਿਧੁਜਹਿ ਉਚਾਰਾ ॥
huan sabad asidhujeh uchaaraa |Then Asidhuja uttered the word 'Huan',
ਤਿਹ ਤੇ ਆਧਿ ਬ੍ਰਯਾਧਿ ਬਪੁ ਧਾਰਾ ॥
tih te aadh brayaadh bap dhaaraa |From which Adhi-Vyaadhi diseases were born.
ਸੀਤ ਜ੍ਵਰ ਅਰ ਉਸਨ ਤਾਪ ਭਨੇ ॥
seet jvar ar usan taap bhane |I count their names, cold disease, fever disease, summer heat,
ਛਈ ਰੋਗ ਅਰੁ ਸੰਨ੍ਰਯਪਾਤ ਗਨ ॥੨੩੪॥
chhee rog ar sanrayapaat gan |234|Khai disease and Sani-pat disease. 234.
ਬਾਇ ਪਿਤ੍ਰਯ ਕਫ ਉਪਜਤ ਭਏ ॥
baae pitray kaf upajat bhe |Y, bile, phlegm etc. diseases arose
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਭੇਦ ਅਮਿਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਏ ॥
taa te bhed amit hvai ge |And before them there were many differences.
ਨਾਮ ਤਿਨੈ ਗਨ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਸੁਨਾਊ ॥
naam tinai gan pragatt sunaaoo |(I) now recite their names clearly
ਅਯੁਰ ਬੇਦਿਯਨ ਸਭਨ ਰਿਝਾਊ ॥੨੩੫॥
ayur bediyan sabhan rijhaaoo |235|And pleases all the Ayurvedas (Vedas). 235.
ਆਮ ਪਾਤ ਅਰ ਸ੍ਰੋਨਤ ਪਾਤ ॥
aam paat ar sronat paat |Enumerate the names of these diseases. Aam-paat, Sronat-paat,
ਅਰਧ ਸਿਰਾ ਅਰੁ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਸੰਘਾਤ ॥
aradh siraa ar hridai sanghaat |Ardha-sira (pain) Hridai Sanghat (cardiac arrest)
ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਬਾਇ ਆਪਾਨ ਬਾਇ ਭਨਿ ॥
praan baae aapaan baae bhan |prana vayu, apan vayu,
ਦੰਤ ਰੋਗ ਅਰੁ ਦਾੜ ਪੀੜ ਗਨ ॥੨੩੬॥
dant rog ar daarr peerr gan |236|Toothache and toothache. 236.
ਸੂਖਾ ਜਰ ਤੇਇਯਾ ਚੌਥਾਯਾ ॥
sookhaa jar teeiyaa chauathaayaa |then drought, three fevers, fourth,
ਅਸਟ ਦਿਵਸਯੋ ਅਰੁ ਬੀਸਾਯਾ ॥
asatt divasayo ar beesaayaa |eight and twenty days old,
ਡੇਢ ਮਾਸਿਯਾ ਪੁਨਿ ਤਪ ਭਯੋ ॥
ddedt maasiyaa pun tap bhayo |One and a half month fever
ਦਾਤ ਕਾਢ ਦੈਤਨ ਪਰ ਧਯੋ ॥੨੩੭॥
daat kaadt daitan par dhayo |237|Who pulled out his teeth and fell on the giants. 237.
ਫੀਲਪਾਵ ਪੁਨਿ ਜਾਨੂ ਰੋਗਾ ॥
feelapaav pun jaanoo rogaa |Then pain in the feet and knees
ਉਪਜਾ ਦੇਨ ਦੁਸਟ ਦਲ ਸੋਗਾ ॥
aupajaa den dusatt dal sogaa |Created to torment the hordes of the wicked.
ਖਈ ਸੁ ਬਾਦੀ ਭਈ ਮਵੇਸੀ ॥
khee su baadee bhee mavesee |(followed by) khai, badi, mwesi (hemorrhoids).
ਪਾਡ ਰੋਗ ਪੀਨਸ ਕਟਿ ਦੇਸੀ ॥੨੩੮॥
paadd rog peenas katt desee |238|Pand Rog (jaundice) Pinus (old cold) Kati Desi (pain in the neck).238.
ਚਿਨਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਮੇਵ ਭਗਿੰਦ੍ਰ ਦਖੂਤ੍ਰਾ ॥
chinag pramev bhagindr dakhootraa |Chinga (disease with discharge of pus from the body) Prameh, Bhagindra, Dakhutra (disease of urinary retention or putrefaction)
ਪਥਰੀ ਬਾਇ ਫਿਰੰਗ ਅਧਨੇਤ੍ਰਾ ॥
patharee baae firang adhanetraa |Pathri, bi firang (a type of fire) Adhannetra (Andhratra)
ਗਲਤ ਕੁਸਟ ਉਪਜਾ ਦੁਸਟਨ ਤਨ ॥
galat kusatt upajaa dusattan tan |And the disease called leprosy arose in the bodies of the wicked
ਸੇਤ ਕੁਸਟ ਕੇਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਭਯੋ ਭਨ ॥੨੩੯॥
set kusatt ketin ke bhayo bhan |239|And some of them got white leprosy in their bodies. 239.
ਕੇਤੇ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸੂਲ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਮਰੇ ॥
kete satru sool hvai mare |Many enemies died of dysentery
ਕੇਤੇ ਆਂਤ ਰੋਗ ਤੇ ਟਰੇ ॥
kete aant rog te ttare |And many died of intestinal disease.
ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਨੀ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹ ਦੁਸਟ ਕਿਯ ॥
sangrahanee sangrah dusatt kiy |Many of the wicked were afflicted with convulsions.
ਜੀਯਨ ਕੋ ਪੁਨਿ ਨਾਮ ਨ ਤਿਨ ਲਿਯ ॥੨੪੦॥
jeeyan ko pun naam na tin liy |240|They did not take the name of living again. 240.
ਕੇਤੇ ਉਪਜ ਸੀਤਲਾ ਮਰੇ ॥
kete upaj seetalaa mare |Many died due to the disease of Sitala
ਕੇਤੇ ਅਗਿਨਿ ਬਾਵ ਤੇ ਜਰੇ ॥
kete agin baav te jare |And many y burned with fire.
ਭਰਮ ਚਿਤ ਕੇਤੇ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਮਰੇ ॥
bharam chit kete hvai mare |Many died of 'bharma-chit' (disease).
ਉਦਰ ਰੋਗ ਕੇਤੇ ਅਰਿ ਟਰੇ ॥੨੪੧॥
audar rog kete ar ttare |241|And many enemies turned away with stomach ailment. 241.
ਜਬ ਅਸਿਧੁਜ ਅਸ ਰੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸੇ ॥
jab asidhuj as rog prakaase |When Asidhuja manifested such diseases
ਅਧਿਕ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਤਾਪਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਤ੍ਰਾਸੇ ॥
adhik satru taapat hvai traase |So many enemies were distressed with fear.
ਜਾ ਕੇ ਤਨ ਗਨ ਦਈ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥
jaa ke tan gan dee dikhaaee |On whose body a disease appeared,
ਤਿਨੌ ਜੀਯਤ ਕੀ ਆਸ ਚੁਕਾਈ ॥੨੪੨॥
tinau jeeyat kee aas chukaaee |242|He gave up hope of living. 242
ਕੇਤਿਕ ਦੁਸਟ ਤਾਪ ਤਨ ਤਪੈ ॥
ketik dusatt taap tan tapai |How many of the wicked burned with heat (i.e. died)
ਕੇਤਿਕ ਉਦਰ ਰੋਗ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਖਪੈ ॥
ketik udar rog hvai khapai |And many succumbed to stomach ailments.
ਕਿਤਕਨ ਆਨਿ ਕਾਪਨੀ ਚਢੀ ॥
kitakan aan kaapanee chadtee |How many came to Kamba?
ਕੇਤਿਕ ਬਾਇ ਪਿਤ ਤਨ ਬਢੀ ॥੨੪੩॥
ketik baae pit tan badtee |243|And gas and bile increased in the body of many. 243.
ਉਦਰ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਕਿਤੇ ਮਰਿ ਗਏ ॥
audar bikaar kite mar ge |Many died of stomach disorders
ਤਾਪਤਿ ਕਿਤਕ ਤਾਪ ਤਨ ਭਏ ॥
taapat kitak taap tan bhe |And how many suffered from fever.
ਕਿਤਕਨ ਸੰਨ੍ਰਯਪਾਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਗਯੋ ॥
kitakan sanrayapaat hvai gayo |How many got Sanipat disease
ਕੇਤਿਨ ਬਾਇ ਪਿਤ ਕਫ ਭਯੋ ॥੨੪੪॥
ketin baae pit kaf bhayo |244|And how many got wind, bile and phlegm diseases. 244.
