ਤਿਹ ਦੇਵੈ ਚੰਡਾਰਹਿ ਕਰ ਮੈ ॥
tih devai chanddaareh kar mai |Give him to Chandal.
ਤ੍ਰਿਪੁਰ ਮਤੀ ਕਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਨ ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ॥
tripur matee kah grih na bulaavai |Tripura Mati should not be called home (again).
ਤਾ ਕੌ ਫੇਰਿ ਨ ਬਦਨ ਦਿਖਾਵੈ ॥੧੧॥
taa kau fer na badan dikhaavai |11|And neither should he show his face again. 11.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਪ੍ਰਾਤ ਆਇ ਅਪਨੇ ਸਦਨ ਵਹੈ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੀਨ ॥
praat aae apane sadan vahai kriyaa nrip keen |In the morning the king came to his palace and did the same thing.
ਇਕ ਰਾਨੀ ਦਿਜਬਰ ਦਈ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਚੰਡਾਰਹਿ ਦੀਨ ॥੧੨॥
eik raanee dijabar dee dutiy chanddaareh deen |12|One queen was given to a Brahmin and the other was handed over to a Chandal. 12.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾਨ ਕੇ ਮੂਢ ਨ ਸਕਿਯੋ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ॥
bhed abhed triyaan ke moodt na sakiyo bichaar |The fool (king) could not recognize the secret of the woman.
ਦਈ ਦੋਊ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਪੁੰਨ੍ਯ ਕਰਿ ਜਿਯ ਕੋ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਨਿਵਾਰ ॥੧੩॥
dee doaoo triy punay kar jiy ko traas nivaar |13|Having removed the fear of the mind, (he) gave both women charity. 13.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਤੀਨ ਸੌ ਪਾਚ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੩੦੫॥੫੮੬੪॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥

ਧੁੰਧ ਪਾਲ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਬਸਤ ਹੋਤ ਤਹ ॥
dhundh paal nrip basat hot tah |There used to be a king named Dhundh Pal.
ਦੁੰਦਭ ਦੇ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਰਾਨੀ ॥
dundabh de taa ke ghar raanee |In his house there was a queen named Dundbhe (Dei).
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਸਮ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨ ਸਕ੍ਰਾਨੀ ॥੧॥
jaa kee sam sundar na sakraanee |1|The beautiful wife of Indra was not like her. 1.
ਤਹਿਕ ਸੁਲਛਨ ਰਾਇ ਬਖਨਿਯਤ ॥
tahik sulachhan raae bakhaniyat |There is one named Sulchhan Rai
ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਕੋ ਤਿਹ ਪੂਤ ਪ੍ਰਮਨਿਯਤ ॥
chhatree ko tih poot pramaniyat |He was said to be the son of (a) Chhatri.
ਤਾ ਕੇ ਤਨ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਘਨੀ ॥
taa ke tan sundarataa ghanee |Her body was very beautiful,
ਮੋਰ ਬਦਨ ਤੇ ਜਾਤਿ ਨ ਭਨੀ ॥੨॥
mor badan te jaat na bhanee |2|Which cannot be described from my mouth. 2.
ਤਾ ਸੌ ਬਧੀ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਾ ॥
taa sau badhee kuar kee preetaa |The love of Kumari (Queen) increased with him.
ਜੈਸੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਰਾਮ ਸੋ ਸੀਤਾ ॥
jaisee bhaat raam so seetaa |As Sita had (love) with Rama.
ਰੈਨਿ ਦਿਵਸ ਤਿਹ ਬੋਲਿ ਪਠਾਵੈ ॥
rain divas tih bol patthaavai |She used to call him day and night
ਸੰਕ ਤ੍ਯਾਗ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਭੋਗ ਮਚਾਵੈ ॥੩॥
sank tayaag triy bhog machaavai |3|And she used to work with him in a strange way. 3.
ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਖਬਰਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕਹ ਭਈ ॥
eik din khabar nripat kah bhee |One day the king got the news.
ਭੇਦੀ ਕਿਨਹਿ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਕਹਿ ਦਈ ॥
bhedee kineh brithaa keh dee |Some Bhedi told the whole story.
ਅਧਿਕ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਿ ਗਯੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਤਹ ॥
adhik kop kar gayo nripat tah |The king was very angry and went there
ਭੋਗਤ ਹੁਤੀ ਜਾਰ ਕਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਜਹ ॥੪॥
bhogat hutee jaar kah triy jah |4|Where Rani was having sex with her friend. 4.
ਰਾਨੀ ਭੇਦ ਪਾਇ ਅਸ ਕੀਯਾ ॥
raanee bhed paae as keeyaa |Rani did so when she found out.
ਬਾਧਿ ਔਧ ਸਿਹਜਾ ਤਰ ਲੀਯਾ ॥
baadh aauadh sihajaa tar leeyaa |(He tied the man) under the bed ('sihja').
ਰਾਵ ਸਹਿਤ ਊਪਰਹਿ ਬਹਿਠੀ ॥
raav sahit aoopareh bahitthee |She sat on the bed with the king
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਨ ਹੋਇ ਇਕਠੀ ॥੫॥
bhaat bhaat tan hoe ikatthee |5|And started getting hugs from each other. 5.
ਰਤਿ ਮਾਨੀ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਾਥ ਬਨਾਈ ॥
rat maanee nrip saath banaaee |He played well with the king.
ਮੂਰਖ ਕੰਤ ਬਾਤ ਨਹਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
moorakh kant baat neh paaee |The foolish husband could not understand the matter.
ਰੀਝਿ ਰਹਾ ਅਬਲਾ ਕਹ ਭਜਿ ਕੈ ॥
reejh rahaa abalaa kah bhaj kai |(He) with the Rani in different kinds of postures
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਕੇ ਆਸਨ ਸਜਿ ਕੈ ॥੬॥
bhaat bhaat ke aasan saj kai |6|And he became happy after intercourse. 6.
ਭੋਗ ਕਮਾਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਥਕਿ ਗਯੋ ॥
bhog kamaat adhik thak gayo |(When) he became very tired after indulging
ਸੋਵਤ ਸੇਜ ਤਿਸੀ ਪਰ ਭਯੋ ॥
sovat sej tisee par bhayo |So he slept on the same bed.
ਜੌ ਨ੍ਰਿਚੇਸਟ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਪਿਯ ਲਖਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
jau nrichesatt triy piy lakh paayo |When the queen saw the king besudh (or ahl).
ਜਾਰਿ ਕਾਢਿ ਕਰਿ ਧਾਮ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥੭॥
jaar kaadt kar dhaam patthaayo |7|So he took the friend and sent him home. 7.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਜਾਗਿ ਖੋਜਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਘਰ ਥਕਾ ਜਾਰ ਨ ਲਹਿਯੋ ਨਿਕਾਰਿ ॥
jaag khoj nrip ghar thakaa jaar na lahiyo nikaar |Waking up, the king searched the house and got tired, but could not get his friend out (from where).
ਭੇਦ ਦਿਯੋ ਜਿਹ ਜਾਨ ਤਿਹ ਝੂਠੋ ਹਨ੍ਯੋ ਗਵਾਰ ॥੮॥
bhed diyo jih jaan tih jhoottho hanayo gavaar |8|The one who had given the secret was killed by the foolish king, knowing him to be a liar. 8.

raaj paatt taa hee kah chhaajaa |He used to adorn the Raj-Pat.
ਚਪਲਾ ਵਤੀ ਸੁਨੀ ਤਿਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਬਰ ॥
chapalaa vatee sunee tih triy bar |His wife named Chapla Vati used to listen
ਹੁਤੀ ਪੰਡਿਤਾ ਸਕਲ ਹੁਨਰ ਕਰਿ ॥੧॥
hutee pandditaa sakal hunar kar |1|Who was proficient in all skills. 1.
