ਭਾਖੀ ਨਾਥ ਮਾਤ ਹੈ ਮੋਰੀ ॥
bhaakhee naath maat hai moree |(The woman) said, O Nath! is my mother
ਹਮ ਪਹਿ ਤੋ ਨਹਿ ਜਾਤ ਜਗਾਈ ॥
ham peh to neh jaat jagaaee |(It) cannot be awakened by me
ਤੁਮੈ ਕਹਤ ਹੌ ਬਾਧਿ ਢਿਠਾਈ ॥੬॥
tumai kahat hau baadh dtitthaaee |6|am telling you with all sincerity. 6.
ਦ੍ਵੈਕ ਘਰੀ ਤੁਮ ਅਨਤ ਸਿਧਾਵਹੁ ॥
dvaik gharee tum anat sidhaavahu |You spend a couple of hours elsewhere.
ਇਹ ਉਠਿ ਗਏ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਹ੍ਯਾਂ ਆਵਹੁ ॥
eih utth ge bahur hayaan aavahu |When it rises, then come here.
ਜਬ ਜਾਗੈ ਤੇ ਅਧਿਕ ਰਿਸੈਹੈ ॥
jab jaagai te adhik risaihai |When she wakes up, she will be very angry.
ਹਮ ਤੁਮ ਲਖਿ ਇਕਤ੍ਰ ਚੁਪ ਹ੍ਵੈਹੈ ॥੭॥
ham tum lakh ikatr chup hvaihai |7|Seeing me and you together, she will be silent. 7.
ਤਿਨਿ ਇਹ ਬਾਤ ਸਤ੍ਯ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨੀ ॥

ਜਾਤ ਭਯੋ ਉਠਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਨ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
jaat bhayo utth kriyaa na jaanee |And went away without understanding (this) game.
ਜਬ ਉਠਿ ਮਾਤ ਗਈ ਲਖਿ ਲੈਯਹੁ ॥
jab utth maat gee lakh laiyahu |(And said that) when he saw the mother get up
ਤਬ ਹਮ ਕੌ ਤੁਮ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬੁਲੈਯਹੁ ॥੮॥
tab ham kau tum bahur bulaiyahu |8|So call me again. 8.
ਇਮਿ ਕਹਿ ਬਾਤ ਜਾਤ ਜੜ ਭਯੋ ॥
eim keh baat jaat jarr bhayo |Having said this, the fool went away
ਤਾਹਿ ਚੜਾਇ ਖਾਟ ਪਰ ਲਯੋ ॥
taeh charraae khaatt par layo |And (he) took him (man) on the bed.
ਭਾਤਿ ਅਨਿਕ ਤਨ ਕਰੈ ਬਿਲਾਸਾ ॥
bhaat anik tan karai bilaasaa |luxuriated (with him) in many ways.
ਆਵਤ ਭਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਪਿਤਾ ਨਿਵਾਸਾ ॥੯॥
aavat bhayo tih pitaa nivaasaa |9|(Only then) his father came home. 9.
ਤਿਸੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਨ ਤਾਹਿ ਸੁਵਾਯੋ ॥
tisee bhaat tan taeh suvaayo |(He) gave him (the lover) sleep in the same way
ਤਾਤ ਭਏ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਜਤਾਯੋ ॥
taat bhe ih bhaat jataayo |And upon the coming of the father said thus,
ਸੁਨਹੁ ਪਿਤਾ ਇਹ ਨਾਰਿ ਤਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
sunahu pitaa ih naar tihaaree |Oh father! Listen, this is your lady
ਤੁਮ ਸੇ ਛਪੀ ਲਾਜ ਕੀ ਮਾਰੀ ॥੧੦॥
tum se chhapee laaj kee maaree |10|And the curse of the house is hidden from you. 10.
ਸੁਨਤ ਬਚਨ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਧਾਮ ਸਿਧਾਨਾ ॥
sunat bachan nrip dhaam sidhaanaa |After hearing this, the king went home.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਪਛਾਨਾ ॥
bhed abhed kachhoo na pachhaanaa |No one could recognize the difference.
ਤਾ ਕੌ ਕਾਢਿ ਸੇਜ ਪਰ ਲੀਨਾ ॥
taa kau kaadt sej par leenaa |(Then) took him (man) to the sage.
ਤਾ ਕੀ ਮਾਤ ਗਵਨ ਤਹ ਕੀਨਾ ॥੧੧॥
taa kee maat gavan tah keenaa |11|Then his mother came there. 11.
ਵੈਸਹਿ ਤਾ ਕਹ ਦਿਯਾ ਸੁਵਾਇ ॥
vaiseh taa kah diyaa suvaae |(Then he) put him (the man) to sleep in the same way
ਕਹੀ ਮਾਤ ਸੈ ਬਾਤ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
kahee maat sai baat banaae |And addressing the mother said (thus),
ਸੁਨਹੁ ਮਾਤ ਜਾਮਾਤ ਤਿਹਾਰੋ ॥
sunahu maat jaamaat tihaaro |Oh mother! Listen, your son-in-law is asleep
ਮੋ ਕੋ ਅਧਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਯਾਰੋ ॥੧੨॥
mo ko adhik praan te payaaro |12|Who is dearer to me than mortals. 12.
ਯਾ ਕੋ ਨੈਨ ਨੀਦ ਦੁਖ ਦਿਯੋ ॥
yaa ko nain need dukh diyo |His eyes are sore from sleep,
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਸੈਨ ਸ੍ਰਮਿਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਕਿਯੋ ॥
taa te sain sramit hvai kiyo |So fell asleep tired.
ਮੈ ਯਾ ਕੋ ਨਹਿ ਸਕਤ ਜਗਾਈ ॥
mai yaa ko neh sakat jagaaee |I can't wake it up
ਅਬ ਹੀ ਸੋਇ ਗਯੋ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ॥੧੩॥
ab hee soe gayo sukhadaaee |13|Because just now the giver of happiness (to me) has fallen asleep. 13.
ਸੁਨਿ ਬਚ ਮਾਤ ਜਾਤ ਭੀ ਉਠ ਘਰ ॥
sun bach maat jaat bhee utth ghar |After hearing these words, the mother got up and went home
ਲਯੋ ਸੇਜ ਪਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਪਿਯ ਭੁਜ ਭਰ ॥
layo sej par triy piy bhuj bhar |And the woman took Pritam on the couch, hugging her tightly with her arms.
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਨ ਭੋਗ ਕਮਾਏ ॥
bhaat bhaat tan bhog kamaae |(With him) performed the Raman of Bhant Bhant
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਧਾਮ ਕੌ ਤਾਹਿ ਪਠਾਏ ॥੧੪॥

ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾਨ ਕੇ ਸਕਿਯੋ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਪਾਇ ॥੧੫॥
bhed abhed triyaan ke sakiyo na koee paae |15|No one could find the secrets of women. 15.
