ਨਿਫਲ ਭਏ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਸਭ ਜੰਤ੍ਰਾ ॥੧੬॥
nifal bhe taa te sabh jantraa |16|Without becoming pure, no mantra could be recited and this way, all the actions became fruitless.16.
ਦਸ ਸਹੰਸ੍ਰ ਬਰਖ ਕੀਅ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
das sahansr barakh keea raajaa |(The Arahant) ruled for ten thousand years
ਸਭ ਜਗ ਮੋ ਮਤ ਐਸੁ ਪਰਾਜਾ ॥
sabh jag mo mat aais paraajaa |In this way, Arhant ruled for ten thousand years and propagated his religion throughout the world.
ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਸਬ ਹੀ ਮਿਟਿ ਗਯੋ ॥
dharam karam sab hee mitt gayo |All religious deeds are erased.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਛੀਨ ਅਸੁਰ ਕੁਲ ਭਯੋ ॥੧੭॥
taa te chheen asur kul bhayo |17|The actions of Dharma ended in the word and in this way, the clan of demons became weak.17.
ਦੇਵ ਰਾਇ ਜੀਅ ਮੋ ਭਲੁ ਮਾਨਾ ॥
dev raae jeea mo bhal maanaa |The king of gods (Indra) liked this
ਬਡਾ ਕਰਮੁ ਅਬ ਬਿਸਨੁ ਕਰਾਨਾ ॥
baddaa karam ab bisan karaanaa |Indra, the king of gods, liked all this very much in his mind that Vishnu had done such a great thing for them.
ਆਨੰਦ ਬਢਾ ਸੋਕ ਮਿਟ ਗਯੋ ॥
aanand badtaa sok mitt gayo |Joy increased and sorrow vanished.
ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਸਬਹੂੰ ਬਧਾਵਾ ਭਯੋ ॥੧੮॥
ghar ghar sabahoon badhaavaa bhayo |18|All of them forsaking grief, were filled with joy and the songs of happiness were sung in every home.18.

ਬਿਸਨ ਐਸ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਦੈ ਸਬ ਹੂੰ ਧਰਮ ਛੁਟਾਇ ॥
bisan aais upades dai sab hoon dharam chhuttaae |By giving this kind of instruction, Vishnu freed religion from everyone
ਅਮਰਾਵਤਿ ਸੁਰ ਨਗਰ ਮੋ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਿਰਾਜਿਯੋ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੯॥
amaraavat sur nagar mo bahur biraajiyo jaae |19|Instructing in this way, Vishnu caused all to abandon the acions of Dharma and went back again to heavens.19.
ਸ੍ਰਾਵਗੇਸ ਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਧਰਿ ਦੈਤ ਕੁਪੰਥ ਸਬ ਡਾਰਿ ॥
sraavages ko roop dhar dait kupanth sab ddaar |Assuming the status of supreme preceptor of Sharvakas and engrossing the demons on the wrong path,
ਪੰਦ੍ਰਵੇਾਂ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਇਮ ਧਾਰਤ ਭਯੋ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ॥੨੦॥
pandraveaan avataar im dhaarat bhayo muraar |20|Vishnu manifested himself ad the fifteenth incarnation in this way.20.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੇ ਅਰਹੰਤ ਪਦ੍ਰਸਵੋਂ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੫॥
eit sree bachitr naattak granthe arahant padrasavon avataar samaapatam sat subham sat |15|End of the description of ARHANT, the fifteenth incarnation in BACHITTAR NATAK.15.
ਅਥ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਕਥਨੰ ॥
ath man raajaa avataar kathanan |Now begins the description of the incarnation named King Manu:
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਗਉਤੀ ਜੀ ਸਹਾਇ ॥
sree bhgautee jee sahaae |Let Sri Bhagauti Ji (The Primal Lord) be helpful.

ਸ੍ਰਾਵਗ ਮਤ ਸਬ ਹੀ ਜਨ ਲਾਗੇ ॥
sraavag mat sab hee jan laage |All people joined Jainism
ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਸਬ ਹੀ ਤਜਿ ਭਾਗੇ ॥
dharam karam sab hee taj bhaage |All the people were absorbed in Shravak Religion (Jainism) and all abandoned the action of Dharma.
ਤ੍ਯਾਗ ਦਈ ਸਬਹੂੰ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਾ ॥
tayaag dee sabahoon har sevaa |Everyone left Hari's service.
ਕੋਇ ਨ ਮਾਨਤ ਭੇ ਗੁਰ ਦੇਵਾ ॥੧॥
koe na maanat bhe gur devaa |1|All of them forsook the service of the Lord and none worshipped the Supreme preceptor (the Immanent Lord).1.
ਸਾਧ ਅਸਾਧ ਸਬੈ ਹੁਐ ਗਏ ॥
saadh asaadh sabai huaai ge |All sādhs became asādhs
ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਸਬ ਹੂੰ ਤਜਿ ਦਏ ॥
dharam karam sab hoon taj de |The saints became devoid of saintliness and all abandoned the action of Dharma
