ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਸੰਗਿ ॥
prabh bhraat sang |

ਸੀਅ ਸੰਗ ਸੁਰੰਗ ॥
seea sang surang |

ਤਜਿ ਚਿੰਤ ਅੰਗ ॥
taj chint ang |

ਧਸ ਬਨ ਨਿਸੰਗ ॥੩੨੭॥
dhas ban nisang |327|

Ram, alongwith his winsome wife Sita and his brother moved fearlessly in the dense forest, forsaking all his anxieties.327.

ਧਰਿ ਬਾਨ ਪਾਨ ॥
dhar baan paan |

ਕਟਿ ਕਸਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ॥
katt kas kripaan |

ਭੁਜ ਬਰ ਅਜਾਨ ॥
bhuj bar ajaan |

ਚਲ ਤੀਰਥ ਨਾਨ ॥੩੨੮॥
chal teerath naan |328|

With his sword tied by the waist and holding the arrows in him hand, the long-armed heroes started for the bath at pilgrim-stations.328.

ਗੋਦਾਵਰਿ ਤੀਰ ॥
godaavar teer |

ਗਏ ਸਹਿਤ ਬੀਰ ॥
ge sahit beer |

ਤਜ ਰਾਮ ਚੀਰ ॥
taj raam cheer |

ਕੀਅ ਸੁਚ ਸਰੀਰ ॥੩੨੯॥
keea such sareer |329|

He reached on the bank of Godavari alongwith his heroic brother and there Ram put off his clothes and took a bath, thus cleansing his body.329.­

ਲਖਿ ਰਾਮ ਰੂਪ ॥
lakh raam roop |

ਅਤਿਭੁਤ ਅਨੂਪ ॥
atibhut anoop |

ਜਹ ਹੁਤੀ ਸੂਪ ॥
jah hutee soop |

ਤਹ ਗਏ ਭੂਪ ॥੩੩੦॥
tah ge bhoop |330|

Ram had a marvellous body, when he came out after bath, on seeing his beauty the official of the place went to the royal lady Surapanakha.330.

ਕਹੀ ਤਾਹਿ ਧਾਤਿ ॥
kahee taeh dhaat |

ਸੁਨਿ ਸੂਪ ਬਾਤਿ ॥
sun soop baat |

ਦੁਐ ਅਤਿਥ ਨਾਤ ॥
duaai atith naat |

ਲਹਿ ਅਨੂਪ ਗਾਤ ॥੩੩੧॥
leh anoop gaat |331|

They said to her, “Please listen to us O royal lady! two strangers of unique bodies have come to our kingeom.”331.

SUNDARI STANZA

ਸੂਪਨਖਾ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਸੁਨੀ ਜਬ ॥
soopanakhaa ih bhaat sunee jab |

ਧਾਇ ਚਲੀ ਅਬਿਲੰਬ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਤਬ ॥
dhaae chalee abilanb triyaa tab |

When Surapanakha heard these words, she immediately started and reaching there,

ਕਾਮ ਸਰੂਪ ਕਲੇਵਰ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
kaam saroop kalevar jaanai |
