ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਮਤਿਵੰਤ ॥੩੩੫॥
naam paas ke hot hai cheen lehu mativant |335|Uttering firstly the word “Bheemraaj” and sayind “Sharastra” at the end, O wise ones! recognize the names of Paash.335.
ਤਪਤੀ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਆਯੁਧ ਏਸ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
tapatee aad uchaar kai aayudh es bakhaan |First pronounce the word 'Tapti', then add 'Es Ayudh'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਸੁ ਜਨਿ ਸਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਨ ॥੩੩੬॥
naam paas ke hot hai su jan sat kar jaan |336|Uttering “Taapti” in the beginning and then adding “Aayudh Ish”, O wise ones! the names of Paash are known.336.
ਬਾਰਿ ਰਾਜ ਸਮੁੰਦੇਸ ਭਨਿ ਸਰਿਤ ਸਰਿਧ ਪਤਿ ਭਾਖੁ ॥
baar raaj samundes bhan sarit saridh pat bhaakh |By inserting the word 'husband' (after) Bari Raj, Samundes, Sarit, Saridh,
ਆਯੁਧ ਪੁਨਿ ਕਹਿ ਪਾਸ ਕੇ ਚੀਨ ਨਾਮ ਚਿਤਿ ਰਾਖੁ ॥੩੩੭॥
aayudh pun keh paas ke cheen naam chit raakh |337|Saying “Vaariraaj Samudresh” and then “Sarit-sardhpati” and afterwards “Aayudh”, the names of Paash are known in mind.337.
ਬਰੁਣ ਬੀਰਹਾ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਆਯੁਧ ਪੁਨਿ ਪਦ ਦੇਹੁ ॥
barun beerahaa aad keh aayudh pun pad dehu |Say the word 'Brun' or 'Birha' first and then add the word 'Ayudh'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥੩੩੮॥

ਨਦੀ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਿਤੀਸ ਭਨਿ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਟ ਪੁਨਿ ਭਾਖੁ ॥
nadee raaj saritees bhan samundaraatt pun bhaakh |By saying 'nadi-raj', 'saritis' and 'sea-rat',
ਆਯੁਧ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਲਖਿ ਰਾਖੁ ॥੩੩੯॥
aayudh ant bakhaaneeai naam paas lakh raakh |339|Saying “Nadi Raj, Sariti and Samund-raat”, the king of rivers and the Lord of all streames, and then uttering “Aayudh” at the end, the names of Paash are known.339.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਪਦ ਆਦਿ ਕਹਿ ਏਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤਿ ॥

naam paas ke sakal hee cheen lehu mativant |340|Saying firstly “Brahmputra” and then uttering “Ishvarastra”, all the names of Paash are recognized.340.

ਆਯੁਧ ਏਸ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਲਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥੩੪੧॥
aayudh es bakhaaneeai naam paas lakh lehu |341|Known the names of Paash by saying firstly “Brahma” and then adding the word “Putra” and afterwards saying “Aayudh Ish”.341.

ਏਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਨਿ ਭਾਖੀਐ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਪਹਿਚਾਨ ॥੩੪੨॥
esaraasatr pun bhaakheeai naam paas pahichaan |342|The names of Paash are recognized by uttering “Brahma” primarily and then saying the words “Sut” and “Ishrastra”.342.
ਜਗਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਪਦ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਕਹਿ ਸੁਤ ਪਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
jagat pitaa pad pritham keh sut pad ant bakhaan |First recite the word 'Jagat Pita' and at the end recite the word 'Sut'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨੀਅਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਿਆਵਾਨ ॥੩੪੩॥
naam paas ke hot hai cheeneeahu pragiaavaan |343|Saying primarily the words “Jagat-Pitaa” and adding the word “Sut” at the end, O talented persons! Recognise the names of Paash.343.
ਘਘਰ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤਿ ॥
ghaghar aad uchaar kai eesaraasatr keh ant |First pronounce the word 'Ghaghar', (then) say 'Israstra' at the end.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨੀਅਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਿਆਵੰਤ ॥੩੪੪॥
naam paas ke hot hai cheeneeahu pragiaavant |344|Naming the river Ghaggar in the beginning and uttering “Ishraastra” at the end, the names of Paash are formed, which O talented people! you may recognize.344.
ਆਦਿ ਸੁਰਸਤੀ ਉਚਰਿ ਕੈ ਏਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤਿ ॥
aad surasatee uchar kai esaraasatr keh ant |Pronounce the word 'Surasthi' first and (then) say the word 'Israstra' at the end.

naam paas ke sakal hee cheen lehu mativant |345|Uttering “Sarasvati” in the beginning and “Ishrastra” at the end, O talented people! the names of Paash are formed.345.
ਆਮੂ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤਿ ॥
aamoo aad bakhaan kai eesaraasatr keh ant |First say the word 'Amu' (specific to a river) and then say 'Israstra' at the end.
ਨਾਮ ਸਕਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਸਤ ਚਲਤ ਬਿਅੰਤ ॥੩੪੬॥
naam sakal sree paas ke nikasat chalat biant |346|Naming the river Amu in th beginning and uttering “Ishrastra” at the end, innumerable names of Paash continue to be evolved.346.
ਸਮੁੰਦ ਗਾਮਨੀ ਜੇ ਨਦੀ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਖਾਨਿ ॥
samund gaamanee je nadee tin ke naam bakhaan |Name the rivers that lead to the sea.
ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਨਿ ਉਚਾਰੀਐ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਪਹਿਚਾਨ ॥੩੪੭॥
eesaraasatr pun uchaareeai naam paas pahichaan |347|Naming all the rivers falling in the ocean and then daying “Ishrastra”, the names of Paash are known.347.
ਸਕਲ ਕਾਲ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਆਯੁਧ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
sakal kaal ke naam lai aayudh bahur bakhaan |(First) taking the names of all the tenses, then recite the word 'Ayudha'.
ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਹੋਤ ਹੈ ਚੀਨ ਲੇਹੁ ਮਤਿਵਾਨ ॥੩੪੮॥
naam paas ke hot hai cheen lehu mativaan |348|Uttering all the names of Kaal and then adding the word “Aayudh”, the talented persons recognize all the names of Paash.348.
ਦੁਘਧ ਸਬਦ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੈ ਉਚਰਿ ਨਿਧਿ ਕਹਿ ਈਸ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
dughadh sabad prithamai uchar nidh keh ees bakhaan |First pronounce the word 'dughadh' (kheer) and then add the words 'nidh' and 'is'.
ਆਯੁਧ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਪਹਿਚਾਨ ॥੩੪੯॥
aayudh bahur bakhaaneeai naam paas pahichaan |349|Saying the word “Digadh” primarily and then adding “Nidhi Ish” and “Aayudh”, the names of Paash are recognized.349.
ਪਾਨਿਧਿ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤਿ ॥
paanidh pritham bakhaan kai eesaraasatr keh ant |First say the word 'Panidhi' (then) at the end say 'Israstra'.
ਨਾਮ ਸਕਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਚੀਨਤ ਚਲੈ ਅਨੰਤ ॥੩੫੦॥
naam sakal sree paas ke cheenat chalai anant |350|Saying primarily the word “Vaaridhi” and then uttering “Ishrastra” at the end, the innumerable names of Paash are recognized.350.
ਸ੍ਰੋਨਜ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਿਧਿ ਕਹਿ ਈਸ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
sronaj aad uchaar kai nidh keh ees bakhaan |Saying the word 'sronj' first, then 'nidhi' and 'is'.
ਆਯੁਧ ਭਾਖੋ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੋ ਨਿਕਸਤ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ॥੩੫੧॥
aayudh bhaakho paas ko nikasat naam pramaan |351|Saying “Shrinaj” primarily and then uttering “Nidhi Ish” and “Aayudh”, the names of Pashh continue to be evolved.351.
ਛਿਤਜਜ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹਿ ਅੰਤਿ ॥
chhitajaj aad bakhaan kai eesaraasatr keh ant |Saying the word 'Chhitjaj' first (then) at the end say 'Israstra'.
ਸਕਲ ਨਾਮ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਚੀਨਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਗ੍ਰਯਾਵੰਤ ॥੩੫੨॥
sakal naam sree paas ke cheenahu pragrayaavant |352|Saying “Kshitij” primarily and “Isharaastra” at the end, recognize all the names of Paash.352.
ਇਸਤ੍ਰਿਨ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਰਜ ਪਦ ਅੰਤਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ॥
eisatrin aad bakhaan kai raj pad ant uchaar |Saying the word 'Istrin' first, (then) pronounce the word 'Raj' at the end.
ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹਿ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਲੀਜੀਐ ਨਾਮ ਸੁ ਧਾਰ ॥੩੫੩॥
eesaraasatr keh paas ke leejeeai naam su dhaar |353|Saying the word “Istrin” and then uttering “Ishraastra”, the names of Paah are known correctly.353.
ਨਾਰਿਜ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪਦ ਦੇਹੁ ॥
naarij aad uchaar kai eesaraasatr pad dehu |Pronouncing the word 'Naraj' first, (then) add the word 'Israstra'.
ਨਾਮ ਸਕਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਪਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਚੀਨ ਚਤੁਰ ਚਿਤਿ ਲੇਹੁ ॥੩੫੪॥
naam sakal sree paas ke cheen chatur chit lehu |354|Saying the word “Naarij” in the beginning and then adding the word “Ishraastra”, O wise people! recognize all the names of Paash in your mind.354.
ਚੰਚਲਾਨ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਕਹਿ ਨਿਧਹਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ॥
chanchalaan ke naam lai jaa keh nidheh bakhaan |(First) taking the names of the fickle (women), (then) say 'Ja' and 'Nidhi'.
ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਨਿ ਉਚਰੀਐ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਪਹਿਚਾਨ ॥੩੫੫॥
eesaraasatr pun uchareeai naam paas pahichaan |355|Naming the mercurial women and then saying “Niddhi Ishraastra”, the names of Paash are recognized.355.
ਆਦਿ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਰੀਨ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਅੰਤਿ ਬਖਾਨ ॥
aad naam naareen ke lai jaa ant bakhaan |First take the name of Nareen (women) and add 'Ja' at the end.
ਨਿਧਿ ਕਹਿ ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਪਹਿਚਾਨ ॥੩੫੬॥
nidh keh eesaraasatr keh naam paas pahichaan |356|Keeping the names of “woman” in the beginning and then saying “Jaa Niddhi Ishraastra”, the names of Paash are recognized.356.
ਬਨਿਤਾ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਜਾ ਕਹਿ ਨਿਧਹਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ॥
banitaa aad bakhaan kai jaa keh nidheh bakhaan |First by saying the word 'Banita' (then) 'Ja' and 'Nidhi'.
ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਨਿ ਭਾਖੀਐ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਸਿ ਪਹਿਚਾਨ ॥੩੫੭॥

ਇਸਤ੍ਰਿਜ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਨਿਧਿ ਕਹਿ ਈਸ ਬਖਾਨਿ ॥
eisatrij aad uchaar kai nidh keh ees bakhaan |Pronouncing the word 'Istrij' (आस्त्रिज) first, (then) recite the words 'Nidhi' and 'Is'.
ਈਸਰਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਕਹਿ ਫਾਸਿ ਕੇ ਜਾਨੀਅਹੁ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਜਾਨ ॥੩੫੮॥
eesaraasatr keh faas ke jaaneeahu naam sujaan |358|Saying firstly “Istri-raj” and then uttering “Niddhi Ish” and Ishraastra”, the wise people know the names of Paash.358.
ਬਨਿਤਾ ਆਦਿ ਬਖਾਨਿ ਕੈ ਨਿਧਿ ਕਹਿ ਈਸ ਬਖਾਨਿ ॥
