ਤਬ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸੀ ਧਾਏ ॥
tab sabh hee sanayaasee dhaae |Then all the monks fell down
ਗਹਿ ਗਹਿ ਹਾਥ ਜੂਤਿਯੈ ਆਏ ॥
geh geh haath jootiyai aae |And they came holding shoes in their hands.
ਚੌੜ ਭਰਥ ਰੰਡੀਗਿਰ ਦੌਰੇ ॥
chauarr bharath randdeegir dauare |Chaud Bharath and Randigir also ran
ਲੈ ਲੈ ਢੋਵ ਚੇਲਕਾ ਔਰੇ ॥੯॥
lai lai dtov chelakaa aauare |9|And brought many disciples together. 9.
ਬਾਲਕ ਰਾਮ ਘੇਰਿ ਕੈ ਲਿਯੋ ॥
baalak raam gher kai liyo |(They) surrounded Balak Ram
ਜੂਤਨ ਸਾਥ ਦਿਵਾਨੋ ਕਿਯੋ ॥
jootan saath divaano kiyo |And lost consciousness by kicking shoes.
ਘੂਮਿ ਭੂਮਿ ਕੇ ਊਪਰ ਛਰਿਯੋ ॥
ghoom bhoom ke aoopar chhariyo |(He) fell down on the ground after eating the beans.
ਜਨੁ ਕਰਿ ਬੀਜੁ ਮੁਨਾਰਾ ਪਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੦॥
jan kar beej munaaraa pariyo |10|As if the tower had fallen due to lightning. 10.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਸਭ ਮੁੰਡਿਯਾ ਕ੍ਰੁਧਿਤ ਭਏ ਭਾਜਤ ਭਯੋ ਨ ਏਕ ॥
sabh munddiyaa krudhit bhe bhaajat bhayo na ek |All the Bairagis got angry and not a single one ran away.
ਚੌੜ ਭਰਥ ਗਿਰ ਰਾਡ ਪੈ ਕੁਤਕਾ ਹਨੇ ਅਨੇਕ ॥੧੧॥
chauarr bharath gir raadd pai kutakaa hane anek |11|(They) beat Chaud Bharath and Randigir a lot. 11.
ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸੀ ਕੋਪਿਤ ਭਏ ਲਗੇ ਮੁਤਹਰੀ ਘਾਇ ॥
sanayaasee kopit bhe lage mutaharee ghaae |The monks got angry after eating the wounds of the sticks
ਲਾਤ ਮੁਸਟ ਜੂਤਿਨ ਭਏ ਮੁੰਡਿਯਾ ਦਏ ਗਿਰਾਇ ॥੧੨॥
laat musatt jootin bhe munddiyaa de giraae |12|And put the Bairagis on the ground with shoes, caps and legs. 12.

ਪਕਰਿ ਮੁਤਹਰੀ ਪੁਨਿ ਸਕੋਪ ਮੁੰਡਿਯਾ ਭਏ ॥
pakar mutaharee pun sakop munddiyaa bhe |After holding the sticks, Bairagi got angry
ਫਰੂਆ ਲਾਠੀ ਸਭੇ ਲਏ ਉਦਿਤ ਭਏ ॥
farooaa laatthee sabhe le udit bhe |And all stood up with nooses and sticks.
ਕਾਟਿ ਕਾਟਿ ਕੈ ਅੰਗ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸਿਨ ਖਾਵਹੀ ॥
kaatt kaatt kai ang sanayaasin khaavahee |They started eating the limbs of the monks
ਹੋ ਦਸ ਨਾਮਨ ਕੋ ਲੈ ਲੈ ਨਾਮ ਗਿਰਾਵਹੀ ॥੧੩॥
ho das naaman ko lai lai naam giraavahee |13|And took the names of the ten names (sects) and started tearing them down. 13.
ਤਬ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸੀ ਧਾਇ ਧਾਇ ਤਿਨ ਕਾਟਹੀ ॥
tab sanayaasee dhaae dhaae tin kaattahee |Then the ascetics also used to bite them (with their teeth).
ਤੋਰਿ ਤੋਰਿ ਕੰਠਿਨ ਤੇ ਕੰਠੀ ਸਾਟਹੀ ॥
tor tor kantthin te kantthee saattahee |They used to break the rings from the throats.
ਐਚ ਐਚ ਟਾਗਨ ਤੇ ਗਹ ਗਹ ਡਾਰਹੀ ॥
aaich aaich ttaagan te gah gah ddaarahee |They used to tear them from their legs
ਦੋ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਹਾਥ ਭੇ ਖੈਂਚਿ ਮੁਤਹਰੀ ਮਾਰਹੀ ॥੧੪॥
do duhoon haath bhe khainch mutaharee maarahee |14|And they used to pull and hit Mugdar with both hands. 14.
ਮੁੰਡਿਯਾ ਤਾਬ੍ਰ ਕਲਾ ਪੈ ਆਏ ॥
munddiyaa taabr kalaa pai aae |Then Bairagi (Queen) came to Tanbra Kala
ਹਮ ਸਭ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸੀਨ ਦੁਖਾਏ ॥
ham sabh sanayaaseen dukhaae |(And said) We have been greatly hurt by the Sannyasis.
ਜਬ ਰਾਨੀ ਐਸੇ ਸੁਨ ਲਈ ॥
jab raanee aaise sun lee |When the queen heard this
ਦਤਾਤ੍ਰੈਨ ਬੁਲਾਵਤ ਭਈ ॥੧੫॥
dataatrain bulaavat bhee |15|So Dattatre was called. 15.
ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸੀ ਦਤਾਤ੍ਰੈ ਮਾਨੈ ॥
sanayaasee dataatrai maanai |Ascetics believed in Dattatre
ਰਾਮਾਨੰਦ ਬੈਰਾਗ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨੈ ॥
raamaanand bairaag pramaanai |And Bairagi worshiped Ramnanda.
ਤੇ ਤੁਮ ਕਹੈ ਵਹੈ ਚਿਤ ਧਰਿਯਹੁ ॥
te tum kahai vahai chit dhariyahu |(The queen said to them) Keep in mind what they say to you
ਮੇਰੀ ਕਹੀ ਚਿਤ ਮੈ ਕਰਿਯਹੁ ॥੧੬॥
meree kahee chit mai kariyahu |16|And keep what I said in mind. 16.
ਏਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਹਮੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਸੋਵਹੁ ॥
ek divas hame grih sovahu |One day you (both) sleep at my house
ਸਗਰੀ ਨਿਸਾ ਜਾਗਤਹਿ ਖੋਵਹੁ ॥
sagaree nisaa jaagateh khovahu |And spend the whole night awake.
ਜੋ ਤੁਮ ਕਹੈ ਲਰੌ ਤੌ ਲਰਿਯਹੁ ॥
jo tum kahai larau tau lariyahu |If (those religious leaders) tell you to fight, then fight.
ਨਾਤਰ ਬੈਰ ਭਾਵ ਨਹਿ ਕਰਿਯਹੁ ॥੧੭॥
naatar bair bhaav neh kariyahu |17|Otherwise, don't show enmity. 17.
ਜੁਦਾ ਜੁਦਾ ਘਰ ਦੋਊ ਸੁਵਾਏ ॥
judaa judaa ghar doaoo suvaae |Both of them were placed in different places
ਅਰਧ ਰਾਤ੍ਰਿ ਭੇ ਬੈਨ ਸੁਨਾਏ ॥
aradh raatr bhe bain sunaae |and spoke at midnight.
ਦਤ ਰਾਮਾਨੰਦ ਕਹੈ ਸੁ ਕਰਿਯਹੁ ॥
dat raamaanand kahai su kariyahu |Do what Dattatre and Ramananda say
ਬਹੁਰੋ ਕੋਪ ਠਾਨਿ ਨਹਿ ਲਰਿਯਹੁ ॥੧੮॥
bahuro kop tthaan neh lariyahu |18|And then not fighting by getting angry. 18.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਛਲਿ ਛੈਲੀ ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਗਈ ਐਸੋ ਚਰਿਤ ਸਵਾਰਿ ॥
chhal chhailee ih bidh gee aaiso charit savaar |Thus the woman evaded (them) by doing such a character.
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਗੁਰਨ ਕੇ ਬਚਨ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਕੀਨੀ ਰਾਰਿ ॥੧੯॥
simar guran ke bachan dvai bahur na keenee raar |19|Both remembered the words of their gurus and did not fight again. 19.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਅਠਾਵਨੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੫੮॥੩੧੪੮॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade ik sau atthaavano charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |158|3148|afajoon|Here ends the 158th chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 158.3148. goes on

ਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਇਕ ਰਹਈ ॥
raaj singh raajaa ik rahee |There lived a king named Raj Singh.
ਬੀਰ ਕਲਾ ਰਾਨੀ ਜਗ ਕਹਈ ॥
beer kalaa raanee jag kahee |His queen was called Bir Kala by all.
ਤਾ ਸੌ ਨੇਹ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕੋ ਭਾਰੋ ॥
taa sau neh nripat ko bhaaro |The king was very fond of him.
ਜਾਨਤ ਭੇਦ ਦੇਸ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੋ ॥੧॥
