ਗਜ ਬਾਜ ਰਥੀ ਰਥ ਕੂਟਹਿਗੇ ॥
gaj baaj rathee rath koottahige |They will beat elephants, horses, charioteers and charioteers.
ਗਹਿ ਕੇਸਨ ਏਕਿਨ ਝੂਟਹਿਗੇ ॥
geh kesan ekin jhoottahige |Ikans (warriors) will be held by the cases and will be given shocks.
ਲਖ ਲਾਤਨ ਮੁਸਟ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਹਿਗੇ ॥
lakh laatan musatt prahaarahige |Lakhs (warriors) will be beaten with sticks and fists.
ਰਣਿ ਦਾਤਨ ਕੇਸਨੁ ਪਾਰਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੧੮॥
ran daatan kesan paarahige |318|The elephants, horses, chariots and chariot-riders will be chopped and the warriors catching each other by their hair, they ill swing, there will be blows of legs and fists and the heads will be shattered with teeth.318.
ਅਵਣੇਸ ਅਣੀਣਿ ਸੁਧਾਰਹਿਗੇ ॥
avanes aneen sudhaarahige |Kings and armies will reform the heroes.
ਕਰਿ ਬਾਣ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣ ਸੰਭਾਰਹਿਗੇ ॥
kar baan kripaan sanbhaarahige |He will hold arrows and kirpan in his hand.
ਕਰਿ ਰੋਸ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਦਿਸਿ ਧਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
kar ros duhoon dis dhaavahige |In protest, they will run to both sides.
ਰਣਿ ਸੀਝਿ ਦਿਵਾਲਯ ਪਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੧੯॥
ran seejh divaalay paavahige |319|The kings of the earth will re-array their armies and hold their bows and arrows, there will be fought a dreadful war in anger in both the directions and the warriors will obtain a place in heaven in the dreadful war.319.
ਛਣਣੰਕਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣ ਛਣਕਹਿਗੀ ॥
chhananank kripaan chhanakahigee |While sifting, the kripan will sift.
ਝਣਣਕਿ ਸੰਜੋਅ ਝਣਕਹਿਗੀ ॥
jhananak sanjoa jhanakahigee |The jingling armor will fall.
ਕਣਣੰਛਿ ਕੰਧਾਰਿ ਕਣਛਹਿਗੇ ॥
kanananchh kandhaar kanachhahige |Kandhari horses will be in trouble.
ਰਣਰੰਗਿ ਸੁ ਚਾਚਰ ਮਚਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੨੦॥
ranarang su chaachar machahige |320|The swords will clatter and the jingling of the steel armours will be heard, the sharp-edged weapons will produce knocking sounds and the Holi of the war will be played.320.
ਦੁਹੂੰ ਓਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਗ ਅਨਚਹਿਗੀ ॥
duhoon or te saag anachahigee |Spears will be raised from both sides.
ਜਟਿ ਧੂਰਿ ਧਰਾਰੰਗਿ ਰਚਹਿਗੀ ॥
jatt dhoor dharaarang rachahigee |Shiva will fade into dust.
ਕਰਵਾਰਿ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਬਜਹਿਗੀ ॥
karavaar kattaareea bajahigee |Swords and daggers will sound,
ਘਟ ਸਾਵਣਿ ਜਾਣੁ ਸੁ ਗਜਹਿਗੀ ॥੩੨੧॥
ghatt saavan jaan su gajahigee |321|The lances will be struck from both sides and the matted locks of the warriors will roll in dust, the spears will collide while striking blows like the thundering of the clouds of Sawan.321.
ਭਟ ਦਾਤਨ ਪੀਸ ਰਿਸਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
bhatt daatan pees risaavahige |Warriors will gnash their teeth in anger.
ਦੁਹੂੰ ਓਰਿ ਤੁਰੰਗ ਨਚਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
duhoon or turang nachaavahige |(Warriors) will dance the horses on both sides.
ਰਣਿ ਬਾਣ ਕਮਾਣਣਿ ਛੋਰਹਿਗੇ ॥
ran baan kamaanan chhorahige |Arrows will shoot from bows in the battlefield
ਹਯ ਤ੍ਰਾਣ ਸਨਾਹਿਨ ਫੋਰਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੨੨॥
hay traan sanaahin forahige |322|The warriors grinding their teeth in anger will cause their horses to dance from both sides, they will discharged arrows from their bows in the war-arena and will cut the saddles of horses and the armours.322.
ਘਟਿ ਜਿਉ ਘਣਿ ਕੀ ਘੁਰਿ ਢੂਕਹਿਗੇ ॥
ghatt jiau ghan kee ghur dtookahige |(Armies) will come roaring closer like replacements.
ਮੁਖ ਮਾਰ ਦਸੋ ਦਿਸ ਕੂਕਹਿਗੇ ॥
mukh maar daso dis kookahige |From all directions (warriors) will shout 'kill' 'kill'.
ਮੁਖ ਮਾਰ ਮਹਾ ਸੁਰ ਬੋਲਹਿਗੇ ॥
mukh maar mahaa sur bolahige |They will say 'Maro' 'Maro' in a loud voice.
ਗਿਰਿ ਕੰਚਨ ਜੇਮਿ ਨ ਡੋਲਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੨੩॥
gir kanchan jem na ddolahige |323|The warriors will rush forth like clouds and will roam in all the ten directions, shouting,”kill, kill”, with their utterance of “kill, kill”, the heart of Sumeru mountain will all move.323.
ਹਯ ਕੋਟਿ ਗਜੀ ਗਜ ਜੁਝਹਿਗੇ ॥
hay kott gajee gaj jujhahige |Millions of horses, elephants and elephant riders will fight.
ਕਵਿ ਕੋਟਿ ਕਹਾ ਲਗ ਬੁਝਹਿਗੇ ॥
kav kott kahaa lag bujhahige |How far will poets count crores?
ਗਣ ਦੇਵ ਅਦੇਵ ਨਿਹਾਰਹਿਗੇ ॥
gan dev adev nihaarahige |Ganas, Devas and Demons will see.
ਜੈ ਸਦ ਨਿਨਦ ਪੁਕਾਰਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੨੪॥
jai sad ninad pukaarahige |324|Crores of elephants and horses and also the riders of elephants will die fighting. To what extent the poet will describe them? The ganas, gods and demons will all see and hail.324.
ਲਖ ਬੈਰਖ ਬਾਨ ਸੁਹਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
lakh bairakh baan suhaavahige |Millions of arrows and flags will be displayed.
ਰਣ ਰੰਗ ਸਮੈ ਫਹਰਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
ran rang samai faharaavahige |In the war-land (war) time will be waved.
ਬਰ ਢਾਲ ਢਲਾ ਢਲ ਢੂਕਹਿਗੇ ॥
bar dtaal dtalaa dtal dtookahige |Good shields will collide.
ਮੁਖ ਮਾਰ ਦਸੋ ਦਿਸਿ ਕੂਕਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੨੫॥
mukh maar daso dis kookahige |325|Lakhs of lances and arrows will be discharged and the banners of all colours will wave in the war-arena, the superb warriors will fall on the enemies taking their shields etc. and in all the ten directions the sound of “kill, kill” will be heard.325.
ਤਨ ਤ੍ਰਾਣ ਪੁਰਜਨ ਉਡਹਿਗੇ ॥
tan traan purajan uddahige |Pieces of armor ('tanu tran') will fly off.
ਗਡਵਾਰ ਗਾਡਾਗਡ ਗੁਡਹਿਗੇ ॥
gaddavaar gaaddaagadd guddahige |Those (warriors) who give quids (to arrows) will give quids (to arrows).
ਰਣਿ ਬੈਰਖ ਬਾਨ ਝਮਕਹਿਗੇ ॥
ran bairakh baan jhamakahige |Arrows and flags will flash in the battlefield.
ਭਟ ਭੂਤ ਪਰੇਤ ਭਭਕਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੨੬॥
bhatt bhoot paret bhabhakahige |326|The armours etc. will be seen flying in the war and the warriors will pitch their column of praise, the lances and arrows will be seen shining in the war-arena, besides the warriors, the ghosts and fiends will also be seen shouting loudly in the war.326.
ਬਰ ਬੈਰਖ ਬਾਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣ ਕਹੂੰ ॥
bar bairakh baan kripaan kahoon |(In Ran) somewhere beautiful arrows, kirpans and flags (will be held).
ਰਣਿ ਬੋਲਤ ਆਜ ਲਗੇ ਅਜਹੂੰ ॥
ran bolat aaj lage ajahoon |(Warriors) will say in the battle that such a (war) has not happened till now.
ਗਹਿ ਕੇਸਨ ਤੇ ਭ੍ਰਮਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
geh kesan te bhramaavahige |How many will be taken from the cases and moved around
ਦਸਹੂੰ ਦਿਸਿ ਤਾਕਿ ਚਲਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੨੭॥
dasahoon dis taak chalaavahige |327|Somewhere the lances and the arrows will be seen striking the targets, many will be thrown in all the ten directions by catching them from their hair.327.
ਅਰੁਣੰ ਬਰਣੰ ਭਟ ਪੇਖੀਅਹਿਗੇ ॥
arunan baranan bhatt pekheeahige |(All) the warriors will appear in red.
ਤਰਣੰ ਕਿਰਣੰ ਸਰ ਲੇਖੀਅਹਿਗੇ ॥
taranan kiranan sar lekheeahige |Arrows like sun rays will appear.
ਬਹੁ ਭਾਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਭਟ ਪਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
bahu bhaat prabhaa bhatt paavahige |Warriors will get a lot of glory.
ਰੰਗ ਕਿੰਸੁਕ ਦੇਖਿ ਲਜਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੨੮॥
rang kinsuk dekh lajaavahige |328|The warriors of red colour will be seen and the arrows will be struck like the rays of the sun, the glory of the warriors will be of different type and seeing them, the kinsuk flowers will also feel shy.328.
ਗਜ ਬਾਜ ਰਥੀ ਰਥ ਜੁਝਹਿਗੇ ॥
gaj baaj rathee rath jujhahige |Elephants, horses, charioteers, chariots will fight (in war).
ਕਵਿ ਲੋਗ ਕਹਾ ਲਗਿ ਬੁਝਹਿਗੇ ॥
kav log kahaa lag bujhahige |As far as poets will be able to understand (them).
ਜਸੁ ਜੀਤ ਕੈ ਗੀਤ ਬਨਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥
jas jeet kai geet banaavahige |Jeet will make Yash's songs.
ਜੁਗ ਚਾਰ ਲਗੈ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵਹਿਗੇ ॥੩੨੯॥
jug chaar lagai jas gaavahige |329|The elephants, horses and chariot-riders will fight in such numbers that the poets will not be able to describe them, their songs of praise will be composed and they will be sung till the end of four ages.329.
