ਦਾਰੂ ਬਿਖੈ ਅੰਗਾਰੇ ਝਰੇ ॥
daaroo bikhai angaare jhare |(From Examples) Sparks will fall in gunpowder.
ਸਭ ਤਸਕਰ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਉਡ ਗਏ ॥
sabh tasakar tab hee udd ge |(With the burst of gunpowder) then all the thieves flew away.
ਭੂਚਰ ਤੇ ਖੇਚਰ ਸੋ ਭਏ ॥੮॥
bhoochar te khechar so bhe |8|Those who walk on the earth became four-wheeled. 8.
ਦਾਰੂ ਉਡਤ ਚੋਰਿ ਉਡਿ ਗਏ ॥
daaroo uddat chor udd ge |The thieves flew away with the gunpowder flying
ਸਭ ਹੀ ਫਿਰਤ ਗਗਨ ਮੌ ਭਏ ॥
sabh hee firat gagan mau bhe |And all started moving in the sky.
ਦਸ ਦਸ ਕੋਸ ਜਾਇ ਕਰ ਪਰੇ ॥
das das kos jaae kar pare |Ten ten mountains will go away and fall
ਹਾਡ ਗੋਡ ਨਹਿ ਮੂੰਡ ਉਬਰੇ ॥੯॥
haadd godd neh moondd ubare |9|And the bones, knees, and head (all) were destroyed. 9.
ਏਕੈ ਬਾਰ ਚੋਰ ਉਡ ਗਏ ॥
ekai baar chor udd ge |At once the thieves (all) flew away.
ਜੀਵਤ ਏਕ ਨ ਬਾਚਤ ਭਏ ॥
jeevat ek na baachat bhe |Not one (of them) survived.
ਇਹ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਅਬਲਾ ਤਿਹ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
eih charitr abalaa tih maariyo |The woman killed them with this character
ਛਲ ਕੇ ਅਪਨੋ ਧਾਮ ਉਬਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੦॥
chhal ke apano dhaam ubaariyo |10|And saved his house by trick. 10.
ਇਹ ਛਲ ਸਭ ਚੋਰਨ ਕਹ ਘਾਈ ॥
eih chhal sabh choran kah ghaaee |By killing all the thieves with this trick
ਬਹੁਰੈ ਧਾਮ ਆਪਨੋ ਆਈ ॥
bahurai dhaam aapano aaee |Then she came to her house.
ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਬਿਸਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਸਿਵ ਹੋਈ ॥
eindr bisan brahamaa siv hoee |Be it Indra, Vishnu, Brahma, Shiva (anyone),
ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਬਚਤ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥੧੧॥
triy charitr te bachat na koee |11|No one can escape from female character. 11.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਛਿਆਸੀਵੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੮੬॥੩੫੬੬॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade ik sau chhiaaseevo charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |186|3566|afajoon|Here ends the 186th chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 186.3566. goes on

ਕਾਮ ਕਲਾ ਕਾਮਨਿ ਇਕ ਸੁਨੀ ॥
kaam kalaa kaaman ik sunee |A woman named Kam Kala used to listen
ਬੇਦ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਅਤਿ ਗੁਨੀ ॥
bed saasatr bheetar at gunee |Who was very skilled in Veda Shastra.
ਤਾ ਕੋ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਨ ਆਗ੍ਯਾ ਮਾਨੈ ॥
taa ko putr na aagayaa maanai |His son was disobedient.
ਯਾ ਤੇ ਮਾਤ ਕੋਪ ਚਿਤ ਠਾਨੈ ॥੧॥
yaa te maat kop chit tthaanai |1|That's why Mother was always angry in Chit.1.
ਕੁਬੁਧਿ ਬਿਖੈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਨਿ ਗਵਾਵੈ ॥
kubudh bikhai din rain gavaavai |(That son) used to spend day and night in bad intelligence
ਮਾਤ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋ ਦਰਬੁ ਲੁਟਾਵੈ ॥
maat pitaa ko darab luttaavai |And the wealth of the parents was stolen.
ਗੁੰਡਨ ਸਾਥ ਕਰੈ ਗੁਜਰਾਨਾ ॥
gunddan saath karai gujaraanaa |He used to spend time with hooligans
ਕਰਤ ਕੁਬਿਰਤਿ ਪਿਯਤ ਮਦ ਪਾਨਾ ॥੨॥
karat kubirat piyat mad paanaa |2|And he used to do bad things after drinking alcohol. 2.
ਤਾ ਕੋ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਸੁਭ ਕਾਰੀ ॥
taa ko bhraat dutiy subh kaaree |His second brother was a doer of good deeds.
ਜੂਪ ਰਹਿਤ ਨ ਕਛੂ ਦੁਰਚਾਰੀ ॥
joop rahit na kachhoo durachaaree |(He) was free from gambling and (does) nothing wrong.
ਤਾ ਸੌ ਨੇਹ ਮਾਤ ਕੋ ਰਹੈ ॥
taa sau neh maat ko rahai |Mother was in love with him
ਯਾ ਕੌ ਬੇਗਿ ਸੰਘਾਰੋ ਚਹੈ ॥੩॥
yaa kau beg sanghaaro chahai |3|And she wanted to kill this (Kuputra). 3.
ਏਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਜਬ ਸੋ ਘਰ ਆਯੋ ॥
ek divas jab so ghar aayo |One day when he came home
ਸੋਤ ਛਾਪਰੀ ਮਾਝ ਤਕਾਯੋ ॥
sot chhaaparee maajh takaayo |And saw him sleeping in the chapari.
ਟਟਿਆ ਦ੍ਵਾਰ ਆਗਿ ਦੈ ਦਈ ॥
ttattiaa dvaar aag dai dee |set fire to the door window (of Chhapri).
ਸੁਤ ਕੋ ਮਾਤ ਜਰਾਵਤ ਭਈ ॥੪॥
sut ko maat jaraavat bhee |4|(Thus) the son was burnt by the mother. 4.
ਮਾਤ ਪੂਤ ਕੌ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਜਰਾਯੋ ॥
maat poot kau pratham jaraayo |The mother burned the son first
ਰੋਇ ਰੋਇ ਸਭ ਜਗਤ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥
roe roe sabh jagat sunaayo |(And then) wept and told the whole world.
ਆਗਿ ਲਗਾਇ ਪਾਨਿ ਕੌ ਧਾਈ ॥
aag lagaae paan kau dhaaee |(She set fire to Chapri) and ran to fetch water.
ਮੂਰਖ ਬਾਤ ਨ ਕਿਨਹੂੰ ਪਾਈ ॥੫॥
moorakh baat na kinahoon paaee |5|No fool understood this. 5.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਸਤਾਸੀਵੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੮੭॥੩੫੭੧॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥

ਕੰਚਨ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਜਾਟਜਾ ਰਹੈ ॥
kanchan prabhaa jaattajaa rahai |There lived a Jat's daughter named Kanchan Prabha.
ਅਤਿ ਦੁਤਿਵਾਨ ਤਾਹਿ ਜਗ ਕਹੈ ॥
at dutivaan taeh jag kahai |The world called him very beautiful.
ਭਰਤਾ ਏਕ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਤਿਨ ਕਿਯੋ ॥
bharataa ek pratham tin kiyo |She had one husband before.
ਰੁਚਿਯੋ ਨ ਡਾਰਿ ਫਾਸ ਹਨਿ ਦਿਯੋ ॥੧॥
ruchiyo na ddaar faas han diyo |1|He did not like it, put a noose and killed him. 1.
ਕੇਤਿਕ ਦਿਨਨ ਔਰ ਪਤਿ ਕਰਿਯੋ ॥
ketik dinan aauar pat kariyo |After a few days, she got another husband.
ਸੋਊ ਨ ਰੁਚਿਯੋ ਕਟਾਰੀ ਮਰਿਯੋ ॥
soaoo na ruchiyo kattaaree mariyo |He also did not like it and killed him with a knife.
ਮਾਸ ਬਿਖੈ ਔਰੈ ਪਤਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
maas bikhai aauarai pat paayo |Got another husband after (one) month.
ਸੋਊ ਦੈ ਕੈ ਬਿਖੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਘਾਯੋ ॥੨॥
soaoo dai kai bikh triy ghaayo |2|The woman also poisoned him and killed him. 2.
ਚੌਥੇ ਨਾਥ ਨਾਇਕਾ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
chauathe naath naaeikaa keeno |That heroine had a fourth husband.
