ਜਬ ਵਹ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਮਹਿ ਬੈਠਤ ਆਇ ਕੈ ॥
jab vah raaj sabhaa meh baitthat aae kai |When he used to come and sit in Raj Sabha,
ਹੋ ਸਭ ਇਸਤ੍ਰਿਨ ਕੇ ਚਿਤ ਕਹ ਲੇਤ ਚੁਰਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੪॥
ho sabh isatrin ke chit kah let churaae kai |4|So he used to steal the hearts of all the women. 4.

ਰਾਜ ਸੁਤਾ ਇਕ ਸਖੀ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥
raaj sutaa ik sakhee bulaaee |Raj Kumari called a Sakhi
ਸਿਖੈ ਕੁਅਰ ਕੇ ਪਾਸ ਪਠਾਈ ॥
sikhai kuar ke paas patthaaee |And taught and sent to Kunwar.
ਕੋਟਿ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਿ ਤਿਹ ਹ੍ਯਾਂ ਲ੍ਯਾਵਹੁ ॥
kott jatan kar tih hayaan layaavahu |Bring him here by making a lot of effort
ਮੁਖ ਮਾਗਹੁ ਜੋਈ ਸੋਈ ਪਾਵਹੋ ॥੫॥
mukh maagahu joee soee paavaho |5|And what you ask from the face, get the same (reward) ॥5॥

ਬ੍ਯਾਕੁਲ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਜਬੈ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਨਿਹਾਰੀ ॥

ਮਤਿ ਨ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਮਰਿ ਜਾਇ ਇਹੈ ਜਿਯ ਮਾਹਿ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ॥
mat na kuar mar jaae ihai jiy maeh bichaaree |So I started thinking in my mind that Raj Kumari might not die.
ਚਲੀ ਸਕਲ ਡਰ ਡਾਰਿ ਪਹੂਚੀ ਜਾਇ ਤਹ ॥
chalee sakal ddar ddaar pahoochee jaae tah |(So she) left all fear and reached there
ਹੋ ਬੈਠੋ ਸੇਜ ਸਵਾਰਿ ਤਵਨ ਕੋ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਜਹ ॥੬॥
ho baittho sej savaar tavan ko mitr jah |6|Where his friend was sitting with sage. 6.

ਜ੍ਯੋਂ ਤ੍ਯੋਂ ਕਰ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਤਹ ਲ੍ਯਾਈ ॥
jayon tayon kar taa kau tah layaaee |How did (Sakhi) bring him,
ਬਾਤ ਮਿਲਨ ਕੀ ਤਿਹ ਨ ਜਤਾਈ ॥
baat milan kee tih na jataaee |But don't say anything about meeting him.
ਤਬ ਵਹੁ ਧਾਮ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਕੇ ਆਯੋ ॥
tab vahu dhaam kuar ke aayo |Then he came to Raj Kumari's house
ਰਾਜ ਸੁਤਾ ਨਿਰਖਤ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੭॥
raaj sutaa nirakhat sukh paayo |7|And Raj Kumari saw and got happiness.7.
ਤਾ ਕੌ ਕਹੀ ਆਨਿ ਮੋ ਕੌ ਭਜੁ ॥
taa kau kahee aan mo kau bhaj |(Raj Kumari) told him to agree with me
ਲਾਜ ਸਾਜ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਅਬ ਹੀ ਤਜੁ ॥
laaj saaj sabh hee ab hee taj |All the shame has just left.
ਮਿਥਨ ਭੇਦ ਜਬ ਮੀਤ ਪਛਾਨਾ ॥
mithan bhed jab meet pachhaanaa |When Mitra understood the matter of doing Rati-Kel
ਧਰਮ ਛੂਟਨ ਤੇ ਅਧਿਕ ਡਰਾਨਾ ॥੮॥

ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਕਹਾਇ ਜਗ ਜਨਮ ਰਾਜ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਪਾਇ ॥
sundar adhik kahaae jag janam raaj grih paae |(Raj Kumar began to think that) even after being called the most beautiful in the world and born in a royal family
ਢੀਠ ਰਮਿਯੋ ਮੋ ਸੋ ਚਹੈ ਅਜਹੂੰ ਨ ਨਿਲਜ ਲਜਾਇ ॥੯॥
dteetth ramiyo mo so chahai ajahoon na nilaj lajaae |9|Hey! (You) want to make love with me; You are still shameless. 9.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥

ਜਬ ਤੁਹਿ ਮੈ ਨਿਰਖਤ ਛਬਿ ਭਈ ॥
jab tuhi mai nirakhat chhab bhee |(Raj Kumari replied that) when I saw your image,
ਲੋਕ ਲਾਜ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਤਜ ਦਈ ॥
lok laaj tab hee taj dee |So Loklaj (I) gave up only then.
ਧਰਮ ਕਰਮ ਮੈ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਨਾ ॥
dharam karam mai kachhoo na jaanaa |Dharma Karma I did not recognize anything,
ਤਵ ਦੁਤਿ ਲਖਿ ਮੁਰ ਜੀਯ ਬਿਕਾਨਾ ॥੧੦॥
tav dut lakh mur jeey bikaanaa |10|Just seeing your image, my heart was sold. 10.
ਸੁਨ ਤਰਨੀ ਮੈ ਤੋਹਿ ਨ ਭਜੌ ॥
sun taranee mai tohi na bhajau |O young lady! Listen, I will not dance with you
ਧਰਮ ਆਪਨੋ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਨ ਤਜੌ ॥
dharam aapano kabahoon na tajau |And will never leave my religion.
ਜਬ ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨੰਦ ਮੁਹਿ ਜਾਯੋ ॥
jab te kripaanand muhi jaayo |The day God gave birth to me
ਇਹੈ ਮਿਸ੍ਰ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਬਤਾਯੋ ॥੧੧॥
eihai misr upades bataayo |11|So the Brahmin had given this instruction. 11.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਪਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਕੀ ਸੇਜ ਪਰ ਭੂਲਿ ਨ ਦੀਜਹੁ ਪਾਇ ॥
par naaree kee sej par bhool na deejahu paae |That one should not step on the sage of a woman even if she forgets it
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਨਹਿ ਕੀਜਿਯਹੁ ਤਾ ਸੋ ਰੁਚਿ ਉਪਜਾਇ ॥੧੨॥
kaam bhog neh keejiyahu taa so ruch upajaae |12|And one should not engage in sexual intercourse with him. 12.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥

ਅਬ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਮੈ ਕਰਮ ਨਿਹਾਰੇ ॥
ab tumare mai karam nihaare |Now I have seen your deeds.
ਕਹਿ ਹੌ ਰਾਜਾ ਪਾਸ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
keh hau raajaa paas savaare |(I will) well tell the king.
ਤੋਹਿ ਸਦਨ ਤੇ ਪਕਰਿ ਮੰਗੈ ਹੌ ॥
tohi sadan te pakar mangai hau |I will call you from home
ਅਨਿਕ ਭਾਤਿ ਸਾਸਨਾ ਦਿਵੈਹੌ ॥੧੩॥
anik bhaat saasanaa divaihau |13|And I will reap (or punish) in many ways. 13.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਪਰਦਾ ਤੁਮਰੋ ਫਾਰਿਹੌ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਹਜੂਰਿ ॥
paradaa tumaro faarihau tumare pitaa hajoor |(I) will open your veil in front of your father
ਤੋ ਕਹ ਦੇਸ ਨਿਕਾਰਿ ਹੌ ਕੂਕ੍ਰਿਨ ਕੀ ਜ੍ਯੋਂ ਕੂਰ ॥੧੪॥
to kah des nikaar hau kookrin kee jayon koor |14|And O wicked! I will take you out of the country like a dog. 14.

ਜਰਿ ਬਰਿ ਗਈ ਨਾਮੁ ਕੁਤਿਯਾ ਸੁਨਿ ॥
jar bar gee naam kutiyaa sun |She got burnt after hearing the name of 'Kuti'
ਕੋਪ ਕਿਯਾ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਮਾਥੋ ਧੁਨਿ ॥
kop kiyaa at hee maatho dhun |And by hitting the head ('Matho') he became very angry.
ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਇਸੀ ਕਹ ਅਬੈ ਸੰਘਾਰੋ ॥
pratham isee kah abai sanghaaro |(Thinking) I will kill it first.
