The king in fury knocked down many mighty warriors
Getting enraged he killed the great heroes in an instant
He shattered their chariots and killed many elephants and horses with his arrows
The king danced in the battlefield like Rudra and those who survived, fled away.1452.
(King Yadava's) army is routed and attacked by Balarama and Krishna.
Getting the army run away and running himself again, the king came to fight with Balram and Krishna and he waged the war fearlessly, taking the lance, axe, mace, sword etc. in his hands
The poet says Siam, then (the king) has again taken the bow and arrow and held it in his hand.
After this he took bow and arrows in his hands and like the drops of rain from the clouds, he filled the tank of the body of Krishna with the arrows.1453.
DOHRA
When Krishna's body was pierced (by arrows), he took the aim of Indra's astra.
When the body of Krishna was pierced by arrows, then he put his arrow named Indrastra in his bow and discharged it after reciting mantras. 1454.
SWAYYA
Indra etc., however brave they were, immediately came down to earth as soon as the arrow was released.
As soon as the arrow was discharged, many mighty warriors like Indra manifested themselves on the earth and manking the king their target, they began to shoot the arrows of fire
The king, taking his bow, intercepted those arrows and with his arrows, he wounded the manifested warriors
Besmeared with blood and in fear reached before Indra, the king of gods.1455.
Poet Shyam says, many gods such as the Sun have become enraged with the wrath of the warrior.
The warriors glorious like sun, got enraged and taking lances, swords, maces etc., fought with the king Kharag Singh
All have gathered in the battlefield. The success of that scene has been described by the poet as follows,
They all gathered together at one place like the god-like black bees gathered to take fragrance of flower-like arrows of the king.1456.
DOHRA
All the manifested gods besieged the king from all the four directions
I relate now the courage shown at that time by the king. 1457.
Speech of the poet:
SWAYYA
(Kharag Singh) pierced the Sun with twelve arrows and then shot the Moon with ten arrows.
He discharged twelve arrows towards Surya and ten towards Chandrama, he discharged a hundred arrows towards Indra, which, piercing his body went to the other side
All the yakshas, gods, kinners, gandharvas etc. who were there, the king knocked them down with his arrows
Many of the manifested gods ran away from battlefield, but there were many who stood there firmly.1458.
When a fierce war started, then Indra got angry and held a spear in his hand.
When the war started intensively, being enraged Indra took the lance in his hand and discharged it towards the king (Kharag Singh) violently.
(Agon) Kharag Singh took a bow and cut (Saang) with an arrow. His likeness is like this
Kharag Singh intercepted the spear with his arrow so accurately as if the garuda-like arrow of the king have swallowed the lance-like female serpent.1459.
Inflicted by the arrows Indra etc. ran away
Surya, Chandra and other all abandoned the battlefield and were extremely frightened in their mind
After having been wounded, many of them ran away and none of them stayed there
All the gods getting ashamed went back to their abodes.1460.
DOHRA
When all the gods ran away, the king became egoistic
Now he pulled his bow and showered arrows on Krishna.1461.
Then Shri Krishna got angry and took 'Rachasa Astra' in his hand
Then Krishna, in his fury, took out his Daityastra (the arm meant for the demons) and discharged it after reciting mantras over this wonderful arrow.1462.
SWAYYA
That arrow created dreadful demons, who had discs, axes,
Knives, swords, shields, maces, and lances in their hands
They had big maces in their hands for striking blows, they even uprooted the leafless trees
They began to frighten the king, protruding their teeth and extending their eyes.1463.
They had long hair on their heads, wore dreadful garbs and had large hair on their bodies
