ਪੂਜਤ ਹੈ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਹਿਤ ਕੈ ਤਿਹ ਕਉ ਪੁਨਿ ਪਾਹਨ ਮੈ ਸਚ ਪਾਏ ॥
poojat hai bahute hit kai tih kau pun paahan mai sach paae |Many sages worship him in stones and many have determined his form according to the Vedic instructions,
ਅਉਰ ਘਨਿਯੋ ਮਿਲਿ ਬੇਦਨ ਕੇ ਮਤ ਮੈ ਕਬਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕਹੇ ਠਹਰਾਏ ॥
aaur ghaniyo mil bedan ke mat mai kab sayaam kahe tthaharaae |
ਤੇ ਕਹੈਂ ਈਹਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜੂ ਜਬ ਕੰਚਨ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਸ੍ਯਾਮਿ ਬਨਾਏ ॥੧੯੫੭॥
te kahain eehaa hee hai prabh joo jab kanchan ke grih sayaam banaae |1957|But when through the Grace of Krishna, the golden mansions were raised at this place, then all the people, having sight of the Lord, began to adore him.1957.
ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਸਭ ਸੂਰਨ ਸੋ ਮੁਸਕਾਇ ਹਲੀ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
sayaam bhanai sabh sooran so musakaae halee ih bhaat uchaariyo |Balram said smilingly to all the warriors, “This Krishna has improved all the fourteen worlds
ਯਾ ਕੋ ਲਹਿਯੋ ਨ ਕਛੂ ਤੁਮ ਭੇਦ ਅਰੇ ਇਹ ਚਉਦਹ ਲੋਕ ਸਵਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
yaa ko lahiyo na kachhoo tum bhed are ih chaudah lok savaariyo |You have not been able to understand his mystery till now
ਯਾ ਹੀ ਹਨਿਯੋ ਦਸਕੰਧ ਮੁਰਾਰਿ ਸੁਬਾਹ ਇਹੀ ਬਕ ਕੋ ਮੁਖ ਫਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
yaa hee haniyo dasakandh muraar subaah ihee bak ko mukh faariyo |“He is one who had killed Ravana, Mur and Subahu and has torn the face of Bakasura
ਅਉਰ ਸੁਨੋ ਅਰਿ ਦਾਨਵ ਸੰਗ ਬਲੀ ਇਹ ਏਕ ਗਦਾ ਹੀ ਸੋ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੯੫੮॥
aaur suno ar daanav sang balee ih ek gadaa hee so maariyo |1958|He has killed with a single bow of his mace, the powerful demon Shankhasura.1958.
ਹਜਾਰ ਹੀ ਬਰਖ ਇਹੀ ਲਰਿ ਕੈ ਮਧੁ ਕੈਟਭ ਕੇ ਘਟਿ ਤੇ ਜੀਉ ਕਾਢਿਯੋ ॥
hajaar hee barakh ihee lar kai madh kaittabh ke ghatt te jeeo kaadtiyo |
ਅਉਰ ਜਬੈ ਨਿਧਿ ਨੀਰ ਮਥਿਓ ਤਬ ਦੇਵਨ ਰਛ ਕਰੀ ਸੁਖ ਬਾਢਿਯੋ ॥
aaur jabai nidh neer mathio tab devan rachh karee sukh baadtiyo |“He, after fighting with Madhu and Kaitabh for one thousand years, made them lifeless and when the ocean was churned, then it was he, who protected the gods and increased their happiness
ਰਾਵਨ ਏਹੀ ਹਨਿਓ ਰਨ ਮੈ ਹਨਿ ਕੈ ਤਿਹ ਕੇ ਉਰ ਮੈ ਸਰ ਗਾਢਿਯੋ ॥
raavan ehee hanio ran mai han kai tih ke ur mai sar gaadtiyo |“It was He, who killed Ravana by discharging an arrow in his heart
ਅਉਰ ਘਨੀ ਹਮ ਊਪਰਿ ਭੀਰ ਪਰੀ ਤੁ ਰਹਿਓ ਰਨ ਖੰਭ ਸੋ ਠਾਢਿਯੋ ॥੧੯੫੯॥
aaur ghanee ham aoopar bheer paree tu rahio ran khanbh so tthaadtiyo |1959|And when we were agonised by afflictions, then he stood firmly like a column in the battlefield.1959.
ਅਉਰ ਸੁਨੋ ਮਨ ਲਾਇ ਸਬੈ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਹਿਤ ਕੰਸ ਸੋ ਭੂਪ ਪਛਾਰਿਓ ॥
aaur suno man laae sabai tumare hit kans so bhoop pachhaario |
ਅਉਰ ਹਨੇ ਤਿਹ ਬਾਜ ਘਨੇ ਗਜ ਮਾਨਹੁ ਮੂਲ ਦੈ ਰੂਪ ਉਖਾਰਿਓ ॥
aaur hane tih baaj ghane gaj maanahu mool dai roop ukhaario |“Listen to me attentively, that he for your welfare, knocked down the king like Kansa and threw the elephants and horses after killing them like the uprooted trees
ਅਉਰ ਜਿਤੇ ਹਮ ਪੈ ਮਿਲਿ ਕੈ ਅਰਿ ਆਇ ਹੁਤੇ ਸੁ ਸਭੈ ਇਹ ਮਾਰਿਓ ॥
aaur jite ham pai mil kai ar aae hute su sabhai ih maario |
ਮਾਟੀ ਕੇ ਧਾਮ ਤੁਮੈ ਛਡਵਾਇ ਕੈ ਕੰਚਨ ਕੇ ਅਬ ਧਾਮ ਸਵਾਰਿਓ ॥੧੯੬੦॥
maattee ke dhaam tumai chhaddavaae kai kanchan ke ab dhaam savaario |1960|“All the enemies who attacked us, he knocked down all of them and now, has bestowed on you the golden mansions removing the earthen ones.”1960.
ਯੌ ਜਬ ਬੈਨ ਕਹੇ ਮੁਸਲੀਧਰਿ ਤਉ ਸਬ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਸਚੁ ਆਯੋ ॥
yau jab bain kahe musaleedhar tau sab ke man mai sach aayo |
ਯਾਹੀ ਹਨਿਓ ਬਕ ਅਉਰ ਅਘਾਸੁਰ ਯਾਹੀ ਚੰਡੂਰ ਭਲੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਘਾਯੋ ॥
yaahee hanio bak aaur aghaasur yaahee chanddoor bhalee bidh ghaayo |When these words were uttered by Balram, then all considered them as true the same Krishna had killed Bakasura, Aghasura, Chandur etc.
ਕੰਸ ਤੇ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਨ ਜੀਤ ਸਕਿਓ ਇਨ ਸੋ ਗਹਿ ਕੇਸਨ ਤੇ ਪਟਕਾਯੋ ॥
kans te indr na jeet sakio in so geh kesan te pattakaayo |
ਕੰਚਨ ਕੇ ਅਬ ਧਾਮ ਦੀਏ ਕਰਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਸਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੧੯੬੧॥
kanchan ke ab dhaam dee kar sree brijanaath sahee prabh paayo |1961|Kansa could not be conquered by Indra, but Krishna, catching him by his hari, knocked him down, and he has given us the golden mansions, therefore He is now the Real Lord.1961.
ਐਸੇ ਹੀ ਦਿਵਸ ਬਤੀਤ ਕੀਏ ਸੁਖੁ ਸੋ ਦੁਖੁ ਪੈ ਕਿਨਹੂੰ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
aaise hee divas bateet kee sukh so dukh pai kinahoon nahee paayo |In this way, the days passed off comfortably and no one was inflicted with sufferings
ਕੰਚਨ ਧਾਮ ਬਨੇ ਸਭ ਕੇ ਸੁ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਜਿਨੈ ਸਿਵ ਸੋ ਲਲਚਾਯੋ ॥
kanchan dhaam bane sabh ke su nihaar jinai siv so lalachaayo |The golden mansions were made in such a way that even Shiva could have coveted for them on seeing them
ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਤ੍ਯਾਗ ਕੈ ਇੰਦ੍ਰਪੁਰੀ ਸਭ ਦੇਵਨ ਲੈ ਤਿਨ ਦੇਖਨ ਆਯੋ ॥
eindr tayaag kai indrapuree sabh devan lai tin dekhan aayo |
ਦੁਆਰਵਤੀ ਹੂ ਕੋ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਜਦੁਰਾਇ ਭਲੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਬਿਓਤ ਬਨਾਯੋ ॥੧੯੬੨॥
duaaravatee hoo ko sayaam bhanai jaduraae bhalee bidh biot banaayo |1962|Indra leaving his city alongwith the gods came to see this city and the poet Shyam says that Krishna had designed very nicely the outline of this city.1962.
