ਜਟੇ ਦੰਡ ਮੁੰਡੀ ਤਪੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਚਾਰੀ ॥
jatte dandd munddee tapee brahamachaaree |

Jatadhari, Dandadhari, shaven head, ascetic and celibate,

ਸਧੀ ਸ੍ਰਾਵਗੀ ਬੇਦ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ॥੨੮॥
sadhee sraavagee bed bidiaa bichaaree |28|

They included those with matted locks, Dandis, Mudis, ascetics, celibates, practisers and many other students and scholars of Vedic learning.28.

ਹਕਾਰੇ ਸਬੈ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸਾ ਨਰੇਸੰ ॥
hakaare sabai des desaa naresan |

The kings of all the countries and territories and all

ਬੁਲਾਏ ਸਬੈ ਮੋਨ ਮਾਨੀ ਸੁ ਬੇਸੰ ॥
bulaae sabai mon maanee su besan |

The king of all the countries far and near and the silence-observing hermits were also called

ਜਟਾ ਧਾਰ ਜੇਤੇ ਕਹੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਪਈਯੈ ॥
jattaa dhaar jete kahoon dekh peeyai |

Wherever you see as many Jatadharis,

ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੈ ਨਾਥ ਭਾਖੈ ਬੁਲਈਯੈ ॥੨੯॥
bulaavai tisai naath bhaakhai buleeyai |29|

Wherever an ascetic with matted locks was seen, he was also invited with the permission of Parasnath.29.

ਫਿਰੇ ਸਰਬ ਦੇਸੰ ਨਰੇਸੰ ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ॥
fire sarab desan naresan bulaavai |

The kings of the countries were invited again.

ਮਿਲੇ ਨ ਤਿਸੈ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਛੈਣੀ ਛਿਨਾਵੈ ॥
mile na tisai chhatr chhainee chhinaavai |

The kings of all the countries were called and whosoever refused to meet the messengers, his canopy and the army were seixed

ਪਠੇ ਪਤ੍ਰ ਏਕੈ ਦਿਸਾ ਏਕ ਧਾਵੈ ॥
patthe patr ekai disaa ek dhaavai |

Letters were sent on one side and (the men) were sent away on the other side

ਜਟੀ ਦੰਡ ਮੁੰਡੀ ਕਹੂੰ ਹਾਥ ਆਵੈ ॥੩੦॥
jattee dandd munddee kahoon haath aavai |30|

The letters and persons were sent to all directions, so that if any ascetic with matted locks, Dandi, Mundi was found, he was brought.30.

ਰਚ੍ਯੋ ਜਗ ਰਾਜਾ ਚਲੇ ਸਰਬ ਜੋਗੀ ॥
rachayo jag raajaa chale sarab jogee |

The king had performed the yagya, all the yogis were coming and going

ਜਹਾ ਲਉ ਕੋਈ ਬੂਢ ਬਾਰੋ ਸਭੋਗੀ ॥
jahaa lau koee boodt baaro sabhogee |

Then the king performed a Yajna, in which all the Yogis, children, old men came,

ਕਹਾ ਰੰਕ ਰਾਜਾ ਕਹਾ ਨਾਰ ਹੋਈ ॥
kahaa rank raajaa kahaa naar hoee |

What a king, what a noble and what a woman,

ਰਚ੍ਯੋ ਜਗ ਰਾਜਾ ਚਲਿਓ ਸਰਬ ਕੋਈ ॥੩੧॥
rachayo jag raajaa chalio sarab koee |31|

Kings, paupers, men, women etc. all came for participation.31.

ਫਿਰੇ ਪਤ੍ਰ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਦੇਸੰ ਅਪਾਰੰ ॥
fire patr sarabatr desan apaaran |

Innumerable letters were sent to all countries.

ਜੁਰੇ ਸਰਬ ਰਾਜਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪੰ ਆਨਿ ਦੁਆਰੰ ॥
jure sarab raajaa nripan aan duaaran |

Invitations were sent to all the countries and all the kings reached at the gate of Parasnath

ਜਹਾ ਲੌ ਹੁਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਮੈ ਜਟਾਧਾਰੀ ॥
jahaa lau hute jagat mai jattaadhaaree |

As far as there were Jatadharis in the world.

ਮਿਲੈ ਰੋਹ ਦੇਸੰ ਭਏ ਭੇਖ ਭਾਰੀ ॥੩੨॥
milai roh desan bhe bhekh bhaaree |32|

All the ascetics with matted locks in the world, they all gathered together and reached before the king.32.

ਜਹਾ ਲਉ ਹੁਤੇ ਜੋਗ ਜੋਗਿਸਟ ਸਾਧੇ ॥
jahaa lau hute jog jogisatt saadhe |

As far as one was practicing Yoga and Yoga's Ishta (Shiva).

ਮਲੇ ਮੁਖ ਬਿਭੂਤੰ ਸੁ ਲੰਗੋਟ ਬਾਧੇ ॥
male mukh bibhootan su langott baadhe |

The practising Yogis, smeared with ashes and wearing lion-cloth and all sages resided there peacefully

ਜਟਾ ਸੀਸ ਧਾਰੇ ਨਿਹਾਰੇ ਅਪਾਰੰ ॥
jattaa sees dhaare nihaare apaaran |

The giants were seen wearing jatas on their heads.

ਮਹਾ ਜੋਗ ਧਾਰੰ ਸੁਬਿਦਿਆ ਬਿਚਾਰੰ ॥੩੩॥
mahaa jog dhaaran subidiaa bichaaran |33|

Many great Yogis, scholars, and the ascetics with matted locks were seen there.33.

ਜਿਤੇ ਸਰਬ ਭੂਪੰ ਬੁਲੇ ਸਰਬ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
jite sarab bhoopan bule sarab raajaa |

As many as there were kings, they were called by the king.

ਚਹੂੰ ਚਕ ਮੋ ਦਾਨ ਨੀਸਾਨ ਬਾਜਾ ॥
chahoon chak mo daan neesaan baajaa |

All the kings were invited by Parasnath and in all the four directions, he became famous as a donor

ਮਿਲੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸਾਨ ਅਨੇਕ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ॥
mile des desaan anek mantree |

Many ministers from different countries came and met

ਕਰੈ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਜੋਗ ਬਾਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਤੰਤ੍ਰੀ ॥੩੪॥
karai saadhanaa jog baajantr tantree |34|

Many ministers of the countries gathered there, the musical instruments of the practising Yogis were played there.34.

ਜਿਤੇ ਸਰਬ ਭੂਮਿ ਸਥਲੀ ਸੰਤ ਆਹੇ ॥
jite sarab bhoom sathalee sant aahe |

As many saints as there were on earth,

ਤਿਤੇ ਸਰਬ ਪਾਰਸ ਨਾਥੰ ਬੁਲਾਏ ॥
tite sarab paaras naathan bulaae |

All the saints who had come at that place, they were all called by Prasnath

ਦਏ ਭਾਤਿ ਅਨੇਕ ਭੋਜ ਅਰਘ ਦਾਨੰ ॥
de bhaat anek bhoj aragh daanan |

Gave (them) many kinds of food and offerings.

ਲਜੀ ਪੇਖ ਦੇਵਿ ਸਥਲੀ ਮੋਨ ਮਾਨੰ ॥੩੫॥
lajee pekh dev sathalee mon maanan |35|

He served them with various types of food and bestowed charities on them, seeing which the abode of the gods felt shy.35.

ਕਰੈ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਬੇਦ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਬਿਚਾਰੰ ॥
karai baitth ke bed bidiaa bichaaran |

(All) sit and contemplate education.

ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸੋ ਸਬੈ ਆਪੁ ਆਪੰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰੰ ॥
prakaaso sabai aap aapan prakaaran |

All sitting there held consultations in their own way regarding Vedic learning

ਟਕੰ ਟਕ ਲਾਗੀ ਮੁਖੰ ਮੁਖਿ ਪੇਖਿਓ ॥
ttakan ttak laagee mukhan mukh pekhio |

Tuck Samadhi was installed. (And each other) were looking at each other's faces.

ਸੁਨ੍ਯੋ ਕਾਨ ਹੋ ਤੋ ਸੁ ਤੋ ਆਖਿ ਦੇਖਿਓ ॥੩੬॥
sunayo kaan ho to su to aakh dekhio |36|

All of them saw pointedly towards one another and whatever they had heard earlier with their ears, on that day they saw it there with their own eyes.36.

ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸੋ ਸਬੈ ਆਪ ਆਪੰ ਪੁਰਾਣੰ ॥
prakaaso sabai aap aapan puraanan |

All had their own interpretations of the Puranas

ਰੜੋ ਦੇਸਿ ਦੇਸਾਣ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਮੁਹਾਣੰ ॥
rarro des desaan bidiaa muhaanan |

All of them opened up their Puranas and began to study their country’s lore

ਕਰੋ ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤੰ ਸੁ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਬਿਚਾਰੰ ॥
karo bhaat bhaatan su bidiaa bichaaran |

They used to think about education in different ways.

ਨ੍ਰਿਭੈ ਚਿਤ ਦੈ ਕੈ ਮਹਾ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਟਾਰੰ ॥੩੭॥
nribhai chit dai kai mahaa traas ttaaran |37|

They began to reflect fearlessly on their lore in various ways.37.

ਜੁਰੇ ਬੰਗਸੀ ਰਾਫਿਜੀ ਰੋਹਿ ਰੂਮੀ ॥
jure bangasee raafijee rohi roomee |

Residents of Bang country, Rafzi, Roh country and Rum country

ਚਲੇ ਬਾਲਖੀ ਛਾਡ ਕੈ ਰਾਜ ਭੂਮੀ ॥
chale baalakhee chhaadd kai raaj bhoomee |

And Balkh had left his kingdom in the country.

ਨ੍ਰਿਭੈ ਭਿੰਭਰੀ ਕਾਸਮੀਰੀ ਕੰਧਾਰੀ ॥
nribhai bhinbharee kaasameeree kandhaaree |

Bhimbhar Deswales, Kashmiris and Kandaharis,

ਕਿ ਕੈ ਕਾਲਮਾਖੀ ਕਸੇ ਕਾਸਕਾਰੀ ॥੩੮॥
ki kai kaalamaakhee kase kaasakaaree |38|

There were gathered there the residents of Bang country, rafzi, Rohelas, Sami, Balakshi, Kashmiri, Kandhari and several Kal-mukhi Snnyasis.38.

ਜੁਰੇ ਦਛਣੀ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਬੇਤਾ ਅਰਯਾਰੇ ॥
jure dachhanee sasatr betaa arayaare |

Dwellers of the South who know the Shastras, debaters, hard-won

ਦ੍ਰੁਜੈ ਦ੍ਰਾਵੜੀ ਤਪਤ ਤਈਲੰਗ ਵਾਰੇ ॥
drujai draavarree tapat teelang vaare |

The southern scholars of Shastras and the Dravidian and Telangi Savants has also gathered there

ਪਰੰ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਉਤ੍ਰ ਦੇਸੀ ਅਪਾਰੰ ॥
paran poorabee utr desee apaaran |

Apar of the east country and the north country

ਮਿਲੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇਸੇਣ ਜੋਧਾ ਜੁਝਾਰੰ ॥੩੯॥
mile des desen jodhaa jujhaaran |39|

Alongwith them there were gathered warriors of Eastern and Northern countries.39.

ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਬੀਰ ਬਹੁ ਬੀਰ ਜੋਰਿ ॥

In this way, very strong warriors were gathered
