There were horses and intoxicated elephants bedecked with armours. The shrieks of the vultures were heard and the warriors were seen entangled with each other.304.
The elephants were stunned.
Small drums (tandoors) were played,
Beautiful youths were adorned,
The elephants serene like sea were there and the trumpets were resounding, the long-armed warriors with unparalleled enthusiasm looked impressive.305.
The warriors were scattered and (the battlefield) became empty.
The warriors who never fell began to fall and also regain their control
And used to respond to the ha-ha-car,
There were egoistic attacks from all the four sides and the warriors blazed like embers.306.
The warriors took care of (themselves),
Vihuls used to shoot arrows (Bisiyar).
The heroes used to shout,
The warriors were keeping their control and the weapons began to slip away from their hands like serpents.307.
ANOOP NARAAJ STANZA
The elephants were crying, the horses were running, there was a commotion (in the army) with a blow upon a blow.
The horses began to move and elephant roared, there was confusion on all the four-sides, the musical instruments resounded and the harmonious sound of the discharge of arrows was heard
Pure (blood) gushed forth from the wounds of the fair-footed horses.
The horses vied with one another in speed and the pure blood gushed out of the wounds. In the turmoil of the war, the corpses rolling in dust, scattered hither and thither.308.
Lots were scattered far and wide. (The Lothas) had their hands in each other's pockets,
Because of the blows of the sword being stuck on the waists, the corpses were scattered and the warriors, turning with difficulty, began to strike bows with double-edged dagger.
The Yoginis while shrieking, and taking the blood in their hands began to drink it
The Bhairvas roamed themselves in the field and the fires of war blazed.309.
The jackals and big vultures roamed in the battlefield hither and thither
The vampires bellowed and the Baitals (ghosts) raised their shrill voice.
When the swords of the warriors clashed (with each other), their white stripes shone.
The white-edged dagger in the hands of the Kshatriyas (Ram and Lakshman) was well-placed in their hands like the lightning in the dark clouds.310.
The giants with horns drank blood and ate flesh.
The Yoginis with the bowls were drinking blood and the kites were eating flesh, the warriors keeping control of their double-edged spears were fighting, while shouting at their companions.
They used to fall down shouting and bearing the weight of pain on their bodies.
They were shouting “kill, kill” and bearing the burden of their weapons, some warriors were there in the cities of gods (i.e. they had died) and some are chopping other warriors.311.
(Warriors) kept their page and swaggered with wounds and fell like this,
The warriors, hurling their blows, were roaming in intoxication like the ascetics performing austerities and swinging with their faces bent downward over the smoke
(On whom) the edge of the arrow flowed, (their) limbs were broken and broken.
There is flow of arms and the broken limbs were falling down, the waves of the desire of victory are rising and the chopped flesh is falling.312.

Chimes, small drums, flutes,
The special sound obstructing the blows on the shields is being heard, the mixed sound of the harp, flute, drum, kettle-drum etc. is creating a dreadful atmosphere.
(From whom) pure words emanated (and the beat of the weapon) did not break its rhythm.
The beautiful sounds also rearing the tunes of the blows of different kinds of weapons are arising in the battlefield, somewhere the servitors are busy in prayers and somewhere the poets are reciting their compositions.314.
Dhal dhal was the word from Dhal di Mar (Malayan) and the swords used to clatter on the battlefield.
The sound of obstructing the shields and the sound of the striking swords are being heard and the sharp arrows destroying innumerable people are being discharged
