ਸਿੰਘ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਆਹਵ ਮੈ ਕਬਿ ਰਾਮ ਕਹੈ ਰਿਸ ਕੈ ਅਤਿ ਧਾਯੋ ॥
singh kritaasatr aahav mai kab raam kahai ris kai at dhaayo |
ਆਇ ਕੈ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਨੂਪਹਿ ਸਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਮੈ ਅਸਿ ਲੈ ਤਬ ਜੁਧ ਮਚਾਯੋ ॥
aae kai singh anoopeh siau kar mai as lai tab judh machaayo |Krata Singh, from the side of Krishna, getting enraged, jumped in the war-arena and taking his sword in his hand, he waged a dreadful war
ਤਾਨਿ ਲਯੋ ਧਨੁ ਬਾਨ ਮਹਾ ਬਰ ਕੈ ਉਰਿ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਨੂਪ ਕੇ ਲਾਯੋ ॥
taan layo dhan baan mahaa bar kai ur singh anoop ke laayo |He pulled his big bow and discharged an arrow towards Anupam Singh
ਲਾਗਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਚਲਿਯੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਰਵਿ ਮੰਡਲ ਭੇਦ ਕੈ ਪਾਰਿ ਪਰਾਯੋ ॥੧੩੫੭॥
laagat praan chaliyo tab hee rav manddal bhed kai paar paraayo |1357|On being struck with it, his life-force touching the sphere of the sun, went beyond it.1357.
ਈਸ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਕੰਧ ਬਲੀ ਸੁ ਅਯੋਧਨ ਮੈ ਇਹ ਊਪਰਿ ਆਏ ॥

ਪੇਖਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਬੈ ਸਰ ਤੀਛਨ ਆਵਤ ਤਾਹਿ ਲਗਾਏ ॥
pekh kritaasatr singh tabai sar teechhan aavat taeh lagaae |The mighty warriors like Ishwar Singh fell upon him, seeing whom Krata Singh discharged his sharp arrows towards them
ਚੰਦ੍ਰਕ ਬਾਨ ਲਗੇ ਤਿਨ ਕਉ ਦੁਹੁ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਕਾਟ ਕੈ ਭੂਮਿ ਗਿਰਾਏ ॥
chandrak baan lage tin kau duhu ke sir kaatt kai bhoom giraae |They were hit by the moonlike arrows and the heads of both of them fell upon the earth
ਯੌ ਉਪਮਾ ਉਪਜੀ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਮਨੋ ਮੁੰਡਨ ਕੋ ਘਰਿ ਹੀ ਧਰਿ ਆਏ ॥੧੩੫੮॥
yau upamaa upajee man mai mano munddan ko ghar hee dhar aae |1358|Their trunks appeared to have forgotten their heads in their homes.1358.

jaalap singh ar gajaa singh at kop badtaae |Karam Singh, Jai Singh, Jalap Singh, Gaja Singh etc., came into the battlefield in increased anger
ਜਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਪਾਚ ਮਹਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸੂਰੇ ਬਰ ॥

ਤੁਮਲ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਘਨੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਦਵ ਨਰ ॥
tumal kariyo sangraam ghane maare jaadav nar |The five noteworthy warriors, Jagat Singh etc., waged a dreadful war and killed many Yadavas
ਤਬ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਸਿ ਚਤੁਰ ਭੂਪ ਮਿਰਤਕ ਕੀਏ ॥
tab sasatr kritaasatr singh kas chatur bhoop miratak kee |
ਇਕ ਜਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀਵਤ ਬਚਿਯੋ ਛਤ੍ਰਾਪਨ ਦ੍ਰਿਢ ਧਰ ਹੀਏ ॥੧੩੫੯॥
eik jagat singh jeevat bachiyo chhatraapan dridt dhar hee |1359|Shastra Singh, Krata Singh, Shatru Singh etc., the four kings were killed and only one Jagat Singh survived, who firmly assumed the heroic tradition of Kshatriyas.1359.

ਤਾ ਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿ ਰਨਿ ਦੀਨੋ ॥੧੩੬੦॥
taa te kaal prer ran deeno |1360|Jagat Singh was extremely egoistic, therefore the death inspired and sent him for war.1360.

jay singh sahit kritaas singh hane chaar ranadheer |1361|Karam Singh, Jalap Singh, Gaja Singh and Jai Singh, all these four warriors were killed by Kritash Singh.1361.

ਸਿੰਘ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਾਸ ਅਯੋਧਨ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਦਿਸ ਕੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਚਾਰ ਸੰਘਾਰੇ ॥
singh kritaas ayodhan mai har kee dis ke nrip chaar sanghaare |
ਅਉਰ ਹਨੇ ਸੁ ਬਨੈਤ ਬਨੇ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਘਨੇ ਜਮਲੋਕਿ ਸਿਧਾਰੇ ॥
aaur hane su banait bane jadubeer ghane jamalok sidhaare |Kritash Singh killed four warriors in the war from the side of Krishna and killed dispatched many others to the abode of Yama
ਜਾਇ ਭਿਰਿਯੋ ਜਗਤੇਸ ਬਲੀ ਸੰਗਿ ਆਪਨੇ ਬਾਨ ਕਮਾਨ ਸੰਭਾਰੇ ॥
jaae bhiriyo jagates balee sang aapane baan kamaan sanbhaare |Now he went and confronted Jagtesh Singh, taking hold of his bow and arrows
ਅਉਰ ਜਿਤੇ ਰਨਿ ਠਾਢੇ ਹੁਤੇ ਭਟ ਪੇਖਿ ਤਿਨੈ ਸਰ ਜਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥੧੩੬੨॥
aaur jite ran tthaadte hute bhatt pekh tinai sar jaal prahaare |1362|All the other warriors who were standing there at that time, they began to shower arrows on Kritesh Singh.1362.
ਮਾਰਿ ਬਿਦਾਰ ਦਯੋ ਦਲ ਕੋ ਬਹੁਰੋ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਕਰਵਾਰ ਸੰਭਾਰਿਓ ॥
maar bidaar dayo dal ko bahuro kar mai karavaar sanbhaario |
ਧਾਇ ਕੈ ਜਾਇ ਕੈ ਆਇ ਅਰਿਓ ਜਗਤੇਸ ਕੇ ਸੀਸ ਹੂੰ ਹਾਥ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਿਓ ॥
dhaae kai jaae kai aae ario jagates ke sees hoon haath prahaario |After killing many warriors of the army of the enemy, he caught hold of his sword and stabilising himself, he struck a blow on the head of Jagtesh Singh
ਦੁਇ ਧਰ ਹੋਇ ਕੈ ਭੂਮਿ ਗਿਰਿਯੋ ਰਥ ਤੇ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਕਬਿ ਭਾਵ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਓ ॥
due dhar hoe kai bhoom giriyo rath te tih ko kab bhaav bichaario |
ਮਾਨੋ ਪਹਾਰ ਕੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਸਾਲਹਿ ਬੀਜ ਪਰੀ ਤਿਹ ਦੁਇ ਕਰ ਡਾਰਿਓ ॥੧੩੬੩॥
maano pahaar ke aoopar saaleh beej paree tih due kar ddaario |1363|Having been chopped into two parts, he fell down from the chariot like a mountain falling into two parts by the fall of lighting.1363.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਕਠਿਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਰਿ ਕਟਕ ਤੇ ਆਯੋ ਯਾ ਪਰ ਧਾਇ ॥
katthin singh har kattak te aayo yaa par dhaae |
ਮਤ ਦੁਰਦ ਜਿਉ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੈ ਆਵਤ ਕੋਪ ਬਢਾਇ ॥੧੩੬੪॥
mat durad jiau singh pai aavat kop badtaae |1364|Within this time, Kathin Singh, coming out of his army-unit fell down on him like an intoxicated elephant in great rage.1364.

ਆਵਤ ਹੀ ਅਰਿ ਕੋ ਤਿਹ ਹੇਰਿ ਸੁ ਏਕ ਹੀ ਬਾਨ ਕੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਸੰਘਾਰਿਓ ॥
aavat hee ar ko tih her su ek hee baan ke sang sanghaario |
ਅਉਰ ਜਿਤੋ ਦਲ ਸਾਥ ਹੁਤੋ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਘਰੀ ਏਕ ਬਿਖੈ ਹਨਿ ਡਾਰਿਓ ॥
aaur jito dal saath huto tih ko gharee ek bikhai han ddaario |Seeing the enemy coming, he killed him with a single arrow and also killed the army supporting him in an instant
ਬੀਰ ਘਨੇ ਜਦੁ ਬੀਰਨ ਕੇ ਹਤਿ ਕੋਪ ਕੈ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕੀ ਓਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਓ ॥
beer ghane jad beeran ke hat kop kai sayaam kee or nihaario |
ਆਇ ਲਰੋ ਨ ਡਰੋ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਰਨਿ ਠਾਢੇ ਕਹਾ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰਿਓ ॥੧੩੬੫॥
aae laro na ddaro har joo ran tthaadte kahaa ih bhaat uchaario |1365|He killed many Yadava warriors in his fury, saw towards Krishna and said, “Why are you standing? Come and fight with me.”1365.
ਤਉ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਪ ਚਲਿਯੋ ਤਬ ਦਾਰੁਕ ਸ੍ਯੰਦਨ ਕੋ ਸੁ ਧਵਾਯੋ ॥
tau har joo kar kop chaliyo tab daaruk sayandan ko su dhavaayo |
ਪਾਨਿ ਲੀਯੋ ਅਸਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਸੰਭਾਰ ਕੈ ਤਾਹਿ ਹਕਾਰ ਕੈ ਤਾਕਿ ਚਲਾਯੋ ॥
paan leeyo as sayaam sanbhaar kai taeh hakaar kai taak chalaayo |Then Krishna, in anger, caused his chariot to be driven by Daruk, went towards him. He held his sword in his hand and challenging him, struck a blow on him,
ਢਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਤਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਈ ਹਰਿ ਤਾਹੀ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਕੈ ਵਾਰ ਬਚਾਯੋ ॥
dtaal kritaasatr singh lee har taahee kee ott kai vaar bachaayo |
ਆਪਨੀ ਕਾਢਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਮਿਯਾਨ ਤੇ ਦਾਰੁਕ ਕੇ ਤਨ ਘਾਉ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥੧੩੬੬॥
aapanee kaadt kripaan miyaan te daaruk ke tan ghaau lagaayo |1366|But Krata Singh saved himself with his shield and taking out his sword from his scabbard, wounded Daruk, the charioteer of Krishna.1366.
ਜੁਧ ਕਰੈ ਕਰਵਾਰਨ ਕੋ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਦੋਊ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਢਾਏ ॥
judh karai karavaaran ko man mai at hee doaoo krodh badtaae |Both of them, highly infuriated, began to fight with their swords
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਜੂ ਅਰਿ ਘਾਇ ਲਯੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਰਿਪੁ ਘਾਇ ਲਗਾਏ ॥
sree har joo ar ghaae layo tab hee har ko rip ghaae lagaae |When Krishna inflicted a wound on the enemy, then he also inflicted a wound a Krishna.
