ਤਬ ਚਲਿ ਬੈਦ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਪਹਿ ਗਯੋ ॥
tab chal baid nripat peh gayo |Then the physician went to the king
ਰੋਗੀ ਬਪੁ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਠਹਰਯੋ ॥੬॥
rogee bap tih ko tthaharayo |6|And called his body sick. 6.
ਜੋ ਤੁਮ ਕਹੋ ਤੁ ਕਰੋ ਉਪਾਈ ॥
jo tum kaho tu karo upaaee |(And said) If you say, let me do it.
ਜ੍ਯੋਂ ਤ੍ਯੋਂ ਕਹਿ ਤਿਹ ਬਰੀ ਖਵਾਈ ॥
jayon tayon keh tih baree khavaaee |Like how he was fed a batti ('bari').
ਰੋਗੀ ਭਯੋ ਅਰੋਗੀ ਤਨ ਸੌ ॥
rogee bhayo arogee tan sau |(With him) the king's healthy body became diseased.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਨ ਪਾਵਤ ਜੜ ਸੌ ॥੭॥
bhed abhed na paavat jarr sau |7|But that fool could not understand the difference.7.
ਭਛਤ ਬਰੀ ਪੇਟ ਤਿਹ ਛੂਟਾ ॥
bhachhat baree pett tih chhoottaa |As soon as he ate batti, his stomach went away.
ਸਾਵਨ ਜਾਨ ਪਨਾਰਾ ਫੂਟਾ ॥
saavan jaan panaaraa foottaa |As if pernala had started flowing (in the month of Sawan).
ਦੂਸਰਿ ਬਰੀ ਥੰਭ ਕੇ ਕਾਜੈ ॥
doosar baree thanbh ke kaajai |To the king to stop (the troops).
ਜੋਰਾਵਰੀ ਖਵਾਈ ਰਾਜੈ ॥੮॥
joraavaree khavaaee raajai |8|Malomali fed the second batti.8.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਅਧਿਕ ਪੇਟ ਛੁਟਿ ਗਯੋ ॥
taa te adhik pett chhutt gayo |The stomach moved more with that.
ਜਾ ਤੇ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਹਬਲ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਭਯੋ ॥
jaa te bahu bihabal nrip bhayo |Because of which the king became very depressed.
ਸੰਨ ਭਯੋ ਇਹ ਬੈਦ ਉਚਾਰਾ ॥
san bhayo ih baid uchaaraa |The physician said, the king has got sanpat (disease).
ਇਹ ਬਿਧ ਕਿਯ ਉਪਚਾਰ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ॥੯॥
eih bidh kiy upachaar bichaaraa |9|Therefore, this method has been carefully treated. 9.
ਦਸ ਤੋਲੇ ਅਹਿਫੇਨ ਮੰਗਾਈ ॥
das tole ahifen mangaaee |(The physician) asked for ten tola hafim
ਬਹੁ ਬਿਖਿ ਵਾ ਕੇ ਸੰਗ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥
bahu bikh vaa ke sang milaaee |And added a lot of anger to it.
ਧੂਰਾ ਕੀਯਾ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਅੰਗਾ ॥
dhooraa keeyaa tavan ke angaa |Dusted (of that medicine) on the king's body.
ਚਾਮ ਗਯੋ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗਾ ॥੧੦॥
chaam gayo taa ke tih sangaa |10|With him (the king's) skin came off. 10.
ਹਾਇ ਹਾਇ ਰਾਜਾ ਜਬ ਕਰੈ ॥
haae haae raajaa jab karai |When the king says 'hi hi',
ਤਿਮਿ ਤਿਮਿ ਬੈਦ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਰੈ ॥
tim tim baid ih bhaat ucharai |Thus the physician says,
ਯਾ ਕਹੁ ਅਧਿਕ ਨ ਬੋਲਨ ਦੇਹੂ ॥
yaa kahu adhik na bolan dehoo |Don't let it speak too much
ਮੂੰਦਿ ਬਦਨ ਰਾਜਾ ਕੋ ਲੇਹੂ ॥੧੧॥
moond badan raajaa ko lehoo |11|And shut the mouth of the king. 11.
ਜਿਮਿ ਜਿਮਿ ਧੂਰੋ ਤਿਹ ਤਨ ਪਰੈ ॥
jim jim dhooro tih tan parai |As the dust falls on the king's body,
ਹਾਇ ਹਾਇ ਤਿਮ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਉਚਰੈ ॥
haae haae tim nripat ucharai |Three times the king says 'hi hi'.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਨ ਕਿਨਹੂੰ ਚੀਨੋ ॥
bhed abhed na kinahoon cheeno |No one understood the difference (of this matter).
ਇਹ ਛਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਤਵਨ ਕੋ ਲੀਨੋ ॥੧੨॥
eih chhal praan tavan ko leeno |12|And took his life with this trick. 12.
ਇਹ ਛਲ ਸਾਥ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕਹ ਮਾਰਾ ॥
eih chhal saath nripat kah maaraa |(The queen) killed the king with this trick
ਅਪਨੇ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਸਿਰ ਢਾਰਾ ॥
apane chhatr putr sir dtaaraa |And swung the umbrella over his son's head.
ਸਭ ਸੌਅਨ ਕਹ ਦੇਤ ਨਿਕਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
sabh sauan kah det nikaariyo |Removed all entanglements,
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਨ ਕਿਨੂ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੩॥
bhed abhed na kinoo bichaariyo |13|But no one understood the difference. 13.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਦੋਇ ਸੌ ਇਕਾਸੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨੮੧॥੫੩੮੯॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade doe sau ikaasee charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |281|5389|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 281st character of Mantri Bhup Sambad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 281.5389. goes on

ਅਮੀ ਕਰਨ ਇਕ ਸੁਨਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਾ ॥
amee karan ik sunaa nripaalaa |A king named Ami Karan had heard
ਅਮਰ ਕਲਾ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਬਾਲਾ ॥
amar kalaa jaa ke grih baalaa |In whose house there was a woman named Amar Kala.
ਗੜ ਸਿਰਾਜ ਕੋ ਰਾਜ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥
garr siraaj ko raaj kamaavai |(He) used to rule over Siraj Garh.
ਸੀਰਾਜੀ ਜਗ ਨਾਮ ਕਹਾਵੈ ॥੧॥
seeraajee jag naam kahaavai |1|(That is why he) was called by the name of 'Siraji' in the world. 1.
ਅਸੁਰ ਕਲਾ ਦੂਸਰਿ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ॥
asur kalaa doosar taa kee triy |Asura Kala was his second queen
ਨਿਸਿ ਦਿਨ ਰਹਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਜਾ ਮੈ ਜਿਯ ॥
nis din rahat nripat jaa mai jiy |Who lived in the king's heart day and night.
ਅਮਰ ਕਲਾ ਜਿਯ ਮਾਝ ਰਿਸਾਵੈ ॥
amar kalaa jiy maajh risaavai |Amar Kala used to be very angry in the mind.
ਅਸੁਰ ਕਲਹਿ ਪਿਯ ਰੋਜ ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ॥੨॥
asur kaleh piy roj bulaavai |2|Asura Kala used to be called by the king every day. 2.
ਏਕ ਬਨਿਕ ਕੌ ਲਯੋ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥
ek banik kau layo bulaaee |(Amar Kala Rani) called a Baniya
ਮਦਨ ਕ੍ਰੀੜ ਤਿਹ ਸਾਥ ਕਮਾਈ ॥
madan kreerr tih saath kamaaee |And played with him.
ਅਨਦ ਕੁਅਰ ਤਿਹ ਨਰ ਕੋ ਨਾਮਾ ॥
anad kuar tih nar ko naamaa |That man's name was Anand Kumar
ਜਾ ਕੌ ਭਜਾ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕੀ ਬਾਮਾ ॥੩॥
jaa kau bhajaa nripat kee baamaa |3|With whom the king's wife had conspired. 3.
ਅਸੁਰ ਕਲਾ ਕੌ ਨਿਜੁ ਕਰ ਘਾਯੋ ॥
asur kalaa kau nij kar ghaayo |(He) killed Asura Kala with his own hands
ਮਰੀ ਨਾਰਿ ਤਵ ਪਤਿਹਿ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥
maree naar tav patihi sunaayo |And then told the husband that your wife is dead.
ਤਰ ਤਖਤਾ ਕੇ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਹਿ ਧਰਾ ॥
tar takhataa ke mitreh dharaa |He covered Mitra under the torn (meaning).
ਤਾ ਪਰ ਬਡੋ ਅਡੰਬਰ ਕਰਾ ॥੪॥
taa par baddo addanbar karaa |4|And decorated it beautifully. 4.
