ਤਾ ਕਹ ਹਨਿ ਪੰਚਮ ਕਹ ਲੀਨੋ ॥
taa kah han pancham kah leeno |Killed him and made him fifth.
ਛਠਵੇ ਮਾਰਿ ਸਪਤਮੋ ਘਾਯੋ ॥
chhatthave maar sapatamo ghaayo |After killing the sixth, he (then) killed the seventh.
ਅਸਟਮ ਕੈ ਸੰਗ ਨੇਹ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥੩॥
asattam kai sang neh lagaayo |3|(Then) started making love with the eighth. 3.
ਕਰਮ ਕਾਲ ਸੋਊ ਨਹਿ ਭਾਯੋ ॥
karam kaal soaoo neh bhaayo |Kaal Karma (see) Do not apply that too.
ਜਮਧਰ ਭਏ ਤਾਹਿ ਤਿਨ ਘਾਯੋ ॥
jamadhar bhe taeh tin ghaayo |He also killed him by stabbing him.
ਧ੍ਰਿਗ ਧ੍ਰਿਗ ਜਾਨਿ ਜਗਤ ਤਿਹ ਕਰਿਯੋ ॥
dhrig dhrig jaan jagat tih kariyo |The whole world knew this and despised him.
ਹਾਹਾਕਾਰ ਸਭਨ ਉਚਰਿਯੋ ॥੪॥
haahaakaar sabhan uchariyo |4|All the people made a ha-ha car. 4.
ਜਬ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਸੁਨਤਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਭਈ ॥
jab ih bhaat sunat triy bhee |When the woman heard this
ਜਾਨੁਕ ਬਿਨ ਮਾਰੇ ਮਰ ਗਈ ॥
jaanuk bin maare mar gee |So as if she died without being killed.
ਅਬ ਹੌ ਜਰੋ ਨਾਥ ਤਨ ਜਾਈ ॥
ab hau jaro naath tan jaaee |(Started thinking) Now I will die with my husband
ਇਨ ਸਭਹੂੰਨ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥੫॥
ein sabhahoon charitr dikhaaee |5|And I will show character to all of them. 5.
ਅਰੁਨ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਰ ਪਾਨ ਚਬਾਏ ॥
arun basatr dhar paan chabaae |He chewed paan wearing a red robe
ਲੋਗ ਸਭਨ ਕੋ ਕੂਕ ਸੁਨਾਏ ॥
log sabhan ko kook sunaae |And told all the people by kook kook.
ਯੌ ਕਹਿ ਹਾਥਿ ਸਿਧੌਰੇ ਗਹਿਯੋ ॥
yau keh haath sidhauare gahiyo |Saying this, he took Sandhur in his hand
ਜਰਿਬੋ ਸਾਥ ਨਾਥ ਕੈ ਚਹਿਯੋ ॥੬॥
jaribo saath naath kai chahiyo |6|And wanted to burn with her husband. 6.

ਸਪਤ ਨਾਥ ਨਿਜ ਕਰਨ ਹਨਿ ਕਿਯੋ ਸਤੀ ਕੋ ਭੇਸ ॥
sapat naath nij karan han kiyo satee ko bhes |By killing seven husbands with her own hands (now) disguised as sati.
ਊਚ ਨੀਚ ਦੇਖਤ ਤਰਨਿ ਪਾਵਕ ਕਿਯੋ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ ॥੭॥
aooch neech dekhat taran paavak kiyo praves |7|Seeing the high and low, the woman entered the Agni (i.e. Chikha) 7.
ਸਪਤ ਨਾਥ ਨਿਜੁ ਹਾਥ ਹਨਿ ਅਸਟਮ ਕੌ ਗਰ ਲਾਇ ॥
sapat naath nij haath han asattam kau gar laae |slaying seven husbands with her hands and slaying the eighth,
ਸਭ ਲੋਗਨ ਦੇਖਤ ਜਰੀ ਢੋਲ ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ ਬਜਾਇ ॥੮॥
sabh logan dekhat jaree dtol mridang bajaae |8|All the people were watching the drum playing the mridanga.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਅਠਾਸੀਵੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੮੮॥੩੫੭੯॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade ik sau atthaaseevo charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |188|3579|afajoon|Here ends the 188th chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 188.3579. goes on
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਭੂਪ ਕਲਾ ਨਾਮਾ ਰਹੈ ਸੁਤਾ ਸਾਹ ਕੀ ਏਕ ॥
bhoop kalaa naamaa rahai sutaa saah kee ek |There used to be a daughter of a king named Bhup Kala.
ਅਧਿਕ ਦਰਬ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਰਹੈ ਦਾਸੀ ਰਹੈ ਅਨੇਕ ॥੧॥
adhik darab taa ke rahai daasee rahai anek |1|He had a lot of wealth and many maidservants lived. 1.

ਮਿਸਰੀ ਕੋ ਹੀਰਾ ਤਿਨ ਲਿਯੋ ॥

ਡਬਿਯਾ ਬਿਖੈ ਡਾਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਦਿਯੋ ॥
ddabiyaa bikhai ddaar kar diyo |And locked him in the box.
ਸਾਹਜਹਾ ਜਹ ਸਭਾ ਬਨਾਈ ॥
saahajahaa jah sabhaa banaaee |Where Shah Jahan had (sat) having formed a council.
ਬਹਲ ਬੈਠਿ ਤਿਹ ਓਰ ਸਿਧਾਈ ॥੨॥
bahal baitth tih or sidhaaee |2|She sat in the Bahl (cart) and went there. 2.
ਅਰਧ ਬਜਾਰ ਬਿਖੈ ਜਬ ਗਈ ॥
aradh bajaar bikhai jab gee |When she reached the middle of the market,
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨਰਿਕ ਬਿਲੋਕਤ ਭਈ ॥
sundar narik bilokat bhee |(So he) saw a handsome man.
ਅਧਿਕ ਦਰਬੁ ਦੈ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਬੁਲਾਯੋ ॥
adhik darab dai nikatt bulaayo |Called him close by giving him a lot of money
ਨਿਜ ਗਾਡੀ ਕੇ ਸਾਥ ਲਗਾਯੋ ॥੩॥
nij gaaddee ke saath lagaayo |3|And took it along with his Bahl. 3.
ਚਲਿਤ ਚਲਿਤ ਰਜਨੀ ਪਰਿ ਗਈ ॥
chalit chalit rajanee par gee |Night fell while walking.
ਸੂਰਜ ਛਪ੍ਯੋ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਦੁਤਿ ਭਈ ॥
sooraj chhapayo chandr dut bhee |The sun set and the moon shone.
ਬਹਲ ਬਿਖੈ ਗਹਿ ਬਾਹ ਚੜਾਯੋ ॥
bahal bikhai geh baah charraayo |He took (the man) by the arm and carried him in the saddle
ਕਾਮ ਕੇਲ ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਉਪਜਾਯੋ ॥੪॥
kaam kel tih sang upajaayo |4|And had sexual intercourse with him. 4.
ਜ੍ਯੋ ਜ੍ਯੋ ਬਹਲ ਹਿਲੋਰੇ ਖਾਵੈ ॥
jayo jayo bahal hilore khaavai |As Bahl used to eat Hichole
ਉਛਰੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਾਜ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
auchhare binaa kaaj hvai jaavai |(So their) work was done without jumping.
ਲਖੈ ਲੋਗ ਗਾਡੀ ਕਰ ਮਾਰੈ ॥
lakhai log gaaddee kar maarai |People think that Bahl used to 'scream'.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਨ ਕੋਊ ਬਿਚਾਰੈ ॥੫॥
bhed abhed na koaoo bichaarai |5|But no one was thinking about (the matter of) separation. 5.
ਭਾਖਿ ਬੈਨ ਤੇ ਬਹਲ ਧਵਾਈ ॥
bhaakh bain te bahal dhavaaee |He spoke and made Bahl go faster
ਕਾਮ ਰੀਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਉਪਜਾਈ ॥
kaam reet kar preet upajaaee |And played with love.
ਭਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਭੋਗ ਬਾਮ ਸੌ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
bhar kar bhog baam sau keeno |He willingly had sex with the woman.
ਬੀਚ ਬਜਾਰਨ ਕਿਨਹੂੰ ਚੀਨੋ ॥੬॥
beech bajaaran kinahoon cheeno |6|No one in the market understood. 6.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਕੇਲ ਕਰਤ ਇਹ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਤਹਾ ਪਹੂਚੀ ਆਇ ॥
kel karat ih chanchalaa tahaa pahoochee aae |That woman reached there while performing sexual intercourse
ਸਾਹਜਹਾ ਬੈਠੇ ਜਹਾ ਨੀਕੀ ਸਭਾ ਬਨਾਇ ॥੭॥
saahajahaa baitthe jahaa neekee sabhaa banaae |7|Where Shah Jahan was sitting in a good meeting.7.
