ਨਹੀ ਮੁਰਤ ਅੰਗ ॥੩੯੫॥
nahee murat ang |395|Powerful his limbs, practising Yoga, did not bend.395.
ਅਤਿ ਛਬਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ ॥
at chhab prakaas |(His) image was very bright,
ਨਿਸਿ ਦਿਨ ਨਿਰਾਸ ॥
nis din niraas |Through extremely comely, he remained desireless night and day
ਮੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਸੁਬਾਸ ॥
mun man subaas |Muni's mind was scented (i.e. well-intentioned).
ਗੁਨ ਗਨ ਉਦਾਸ ॥੩੯੬॥
gun gan udaas |396|And adopting the qualities, the sage lived detachedly.396.
ਅਬਯਕਤ ਜੋਗ ॥
abayakat jog |(His) Yoga was Akathani.
ਨਹੀ ਕਉਨ ਸੋਗ ॥
nahee kaun sog |Being absorbed in unexpressible Yoga, he was far away from all foundnesses
ਨਿਤਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਅਰੋਗ ॥
nitaprat arog |Everyday was disease free
ਤਜਿ ਰਾਜ ਭੋਗ ॥੩੯੭॥
taj raaj bhog |397|Even on forsaking all the royal luxuries, he always remained healthy.397.
ਮੁਨ ਮਨਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ॥
mun man kripaal |Muni Kripalu is minded
ਗੁਨ ਗਨ ਦਿਆਲ ॥
gun gan diaal |That kind sage, was allied with qualities
ਸੁਭਿ ਮਤਿ ਸੁਢਾਲ ॥
subh mat sudtaal |Beautiful and auspicious
ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਬ੍ਰਿਤ ਕਰਾਲ ॥੩੯੮॥
drirr brit karaal |398|He was a man of good intellect, a resolute vow-observer and merciful.398.
ਤਨ ਸਹਤ ਸੀਤ ॥
tan sahat seet |(He) used to bear cold on his body
ਨਹੀ ਮੁਰਤ ਚੀਤ ॥
nahee murat cheet |(And from doing so) his mind did not turn back.
ਬਹੁ ਬਰਖ ਬੀਤ ॥
bahu barakh beet |(In doing so) many years had passed,
ਜਨੁ ਜੋਗ ਜੀਤ ॥੩੯੯॥
jan jog jeet |399|Enduring coldness on his body, his mind never got impaired and in this way after many years, he had been victorious in Yogs.399.
ਚਾਲੰਤ ਬਾਤ ॥
chaalant baat |With the wind
ਥਰਕੰਤ ਪਾਤ ॥
tharakant paat |When that Yogi talked, the leaves of the trees swerved
ਪੀਅਰਾਤ ਗਾਤ ॥
peearaat gaat |The body was pale.
ਨਹੀ ਬਦਤ ਬਾਤ ॥੪੦੦॥
nahee badat baat |400|And knowing the attributes of the Lord, he did not disclose anything to others.400.
ਭੰਗੰ ਭਛੰਤ ॥
bhangan bhachhant |used to eat hemp,
ਕਾਛੀ ਕਛੰਤ ॥
kaachhee kachhant |He used to drink hemp, roamed here and there blew his horn and
ਕਿੰਗ੍ਰੀ ਬਜੰਤ ॥
kingree bajant |playing the kingri,
ਭਗਵਤ ਭਨੰਤ ॥੪੦੧॥
bhagavat bhanant |401|Remained absorbed in the meditation of the Lord.401.
ਨਹੀ ਡੁਲਤ ਅੰਗ ॥
nahee ddulat ang |(The sage's) body was not swaying,
ਮੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਅਭੰਗ ॥
mun man abhang |His limbs and mind both remained stable
ਜੁਟਿ ਜੋਗ ਜੰਗ ॥
jutt jog jang |was engaged in the war of Yoga,
ਜਿਮਿ ਉਡਤ ਚੰਗ ॥੪੦੨॥
jim uddat chang |402|Absorbed in meditation, he remained engrossed in the practice of Yoga.402.
ਨਹੀ ਕਰਤ ਹਾਇ ॥
nahee karat haae |used to do penance with chow,
ਤਪ ਕਰਤ ਚਾਇ ॥
tap karat chaae |While performing austerities, he never felt any suffering
ਨਿਤਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
nitaprat banaae |Every day with much love
ਬਹੁ ਭਗਤ ਭਾਇ ॥੪੦੩॥
bahu bhagat bhaae |403|And being absorbed in various types of devotional ideas, he always remained engrossed in devotion.403.
ਮੁਖ ਭਛਤ ਪਉਨ ॥
mukh bhachhat paun |used to blow air with his mouth,
ਤਜਿ ਧਾਮ ਗਉਨ ॥
taj dhaam gaun |These sages, who relinquished their homes,
ਮੁਨਿ ਰਹਤ ਮਉਨ ॥
mun rahat maun |Muni was silent.
ਸੁਭ ਰਾਜ ਭਉਨ ॥੪੦੪॥
subh raaj bhaun |404|Subsisted on air and remained silent.404.
ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸ ਦੇਵ ॥
sanayaas dev |Secret of the mind of (that) Sannyas Dev Muni
ਮੁਨਿ ਮਨ ਅਭੇਵ ॥
mun man abhev |These sages, supreme amongst Sannyasis understood the internal mysteries
ਅਨਜੁਰਿ ਅਜੇਵ ॥
anajur ajev |(He was) ageless and invincible,
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਅਤੇਵ ॥੪੦੫॥
antar atev |405|They were the age with mysterious mind.405.
ਅਨਭੂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ ॥
anabhoo prakaas |enlightened by experience,
ਨਿਤਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਉਦਾਸ ॥
nitaprat udaas |They felt the inner Light and remained detached
ਗੁਨ ਅਧਿਕ ਜਾਸ ॥
gun adhik jaas |(He had) many qualities.
ਲਖਿ ਲਜਤ ਅਨਾਸ ॥੪੦੬॥
lakh lajat anaas |406|They were full of virues and were no prone to destruction.406.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਨ ਦੇਵ ॥
brahaman dev |The chief of sages (datta) possessing many virtues
ਗੁਨ ਗਨ ਅਭੇਵ ॥
gun gan abhev |They were adorable for Brahmins, and masters of mysterious qualities
ਦੇਵਾਨ ਦੇਵ ॥
devaan dev |(He) was also the god of gods
