ਜਾ ਕੈ ਤ੍ਰਾਸੈ ਸੂਰ ਸਭ ਰਹੈ ਚਰਨ ਸੌ ਲਾਗਿ ॥੧॥
jaa kai traasai soor sabh rahai charan sau laag |1|Fearing him, all the warriors used to stick to (his) legs. 1.

ਚੰਚਲ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਤਵਨ ਕੀ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
chanchal kuar tavan kee naaree |His queen was a playful virgin
ਆਪ ਹਾਥ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥
aap haath jagadees savaaree |Which was created by God with his hand.
ਅਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ਤਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਬਿਰਾਜੈ ॥
apramaan tih prabhaa biraajai |Her incomparable beauty was blessed,
ਜਨੁ ਰਤਿ ਪਤਿ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਸੁ ਰਾਜੈ ॥੨॥
jan rat pat kee priyaa su raajai |2|As if Rati's husband's love (means Rati) is prevailing. 2.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਏਕ ਰਾਵ ਕੋ ਭ੍ਰਿਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੁਤੋ ॥
ek raav ko bhrit adhik sundar huto |servant of the king was very handsome.
ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਤਾਹਿ ਬਿਲੋਕ ਗਈ ਰਾਨੀ ਸੁਤੋ ॥
eik din taeh bilok gee raanee suto |One day Rani saw him sleeping.
ਤਾ ਦਿਨ ਤੇ ਸੁ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਰਹੀ ਉਰਝਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
taa din te su kumaar rahee urajhaae kai |From that day she got stuck in the beauty of that Kumar.
ਹੋ ਕ੍ਰੋਰਿ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਿ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਲਿਯੋ ਬੁਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੩॥
ho kror jatan kar taa kau liyo bulaae kai |3|Called him after making many efforts. 3.
ਜਬੈ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਤਿਨ ਲਖ੍ਯੋ ਸਜਨ ਘਰ ਆਇਯੋ ॥
jabai kuar tin lakhayo sajan ghar aaeiyo |When Kumari saw that Sajjan had come home
ਚੰਚਲ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਬਚਨ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਸੁਨਾਇਯੋ ॥
chanchal kuar bachan ih bhaat sunaaeiyo |(Then) that fickle Kumari spoke thus
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਮੁਹਿ ਸਾਥ ਕਰੋ ਤੁਮ ਆਇ ਕਰਿ ॥
kaam bhog muhi saath karo tum aae kar |That you come and fuck me
ਹੋ ਚਿਤ ਕੋ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਦੀਜੈ ਸੋਕ ਮਿਟਾਇ ਕਰ ॥੪॥
ho chit ko sabh hee deejai sok mittaae kar |4|And erase all the sorrows of the mind. 4.

ਤਵਨ ਪੁਰਖ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ॥
tavan purakh ih bhaat bichaaree |That man thought so
ਰਮਿਯੋ ਚਹਤ ਮੋ ਸੋ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
ramiyo chahat mo so nrip naaree |That the king's wife wants to have sex with me.
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਯਾ ਸੌ ਮੈ ਕਰਿਹੌ ॥
kaam bhog yaa sau mai karihau |(J) I have sex with it
ਕੁੰਭੀ ਨਰਕ ਬੀਚ ਤਬ ਪਰਿਹੌ ॥੫॥
kunbhee narak beech tab parihau |5|So I fall into Kumbhi hell. 5.
ਨਾਹਿ ਨਾਹਿ ਤਿਨ ਪੁਰਖ ਬਖਾਨੀ ॥
naeh naeh tin purakh bakhaanee |The man said, 'No, no.'
ਤੋ ਸੋ ਰਮਤ ਮੈ ਨਹੀ ਰਾਨੀ ॥
to so ramat mai nahee raanee |O Queen! I will not make love with you.
ਐਸੇ ਖ੍ਯਾਲ ਬਾਲ ਨਹਿ ਪਰਿਯੈ ॥
aaise khayaal baal neh pariyai |O woman! (You) don't think like that
ਬੇਗਿ ਬਿਦਾ ਹ੍ਯਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੁਹਿ ਕਰਿਯੈ ॥੬॥
beg bidaa hayaan te muhi kariyai |6|And send me away from here quickly. 6.
ਨਹੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਿਯਰਵਾ ਜ੍ਯੋਂ ਕਰੈ ॥
naheen naheen piyaravaa jayon karai |As (he) the beloved used to say 'no no',
ਤ੍ਯੋਂ ਤ੍ਯੋਂ ਚਰਨ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਪਰੈ ॥
tayon tayon charan chanchalaa parai |Every now and then (she) used to fall at (his) feet.
ਮੈ ਤੁਮਰੀ ਲਖਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਬਿਕਾਨੀ ॥
mai tumaree lakh prabhaa bikaanee |(And used to say) I am sold after seeing your beauty
ਮਦਨ ਤਾਪ ਤੇ ਭਈ ਦਿਵਾਨੀ ॥੭॥
madan taap te bhee divaanee |7|And I have become mad because of the heat of lust. 7.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਮੈ ਰਾਨੀ ਤੁਹਿ ਰੰਕ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਰਹੀ ਲਪਟਾਇ ॥
mai raanee tuhi rank ke charan rahee lapattaae |(The queen said) I am a queen and am clinging to the feet of a rank like you.
ਕਾਮ ਕੇਲ ਮੋ ਸੋ ਤਰੁਨ ਕ੍ਯੋ ਨਹਿ ਕਰਤ ਬਨਾਇ ॥੮॥
kaam kel mo so tarun kayo neh karat banaae |8|O youth! Why don't you play sexual games with me? 8.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥
arril |adamant:
ਅਧਿਕ ਮੋਲ ਕੋ ਰਤਨੁ ਜੋ ਕ੍ਯੋਹੂੰ ਪਾਇਯੈ ॥
adhik mol ko ratan jo kayohoon paaeiyai |If a very valuable diamond is found
ਅਨਿਕ ਜਤਨ ਭੇ ਰਾਖਿ ਨ ਬ੍ਰਿਥਾ ਗਵਾਇਯੈ ॥
anik jatan bhe raakh na brithaa gavaaeiyai |So it should be preserved by making many efforts, it should not be lost in vain.
ਤਾਹਿ ਗਰੇ ਸੋ ਲਾਇ ਭਲੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਲੀਜਿਯੈ ॥
taeh gare so laae bhalee bidh leejiyai |It should be firmly attached to the cheek.
ਹੋ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਆਵਤ ਨਿਧ ਨਵੌ ਕਿਵਾਰ ਨ ਦੀਜਿਯੈ ॥੯॥
ho grih aavat nidh navau kivaar na deejiyai |9|If nine treasures come to the house, then the door should not be closed. 9.
ਤੁਮਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਬਿਲੋਕ ਦਿਵਾਨੀ ਮੈ ਭਈ ॥
tumaree prabhaa bilok divaanee mai bhee |Seeing your beauty, I have become crazy.
ਤਬ ਤੇ ਸਕਲ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਸਦਨ ਕੀ ਸੁਧਿ ਦਈ ॥
tab te sakal bisaar sadan kee sudh dee |Since then I have forgotten the wisdom of home.
ਜੋਰਿ ਹਾਥ ਸਿਰ ਨ੍ਯਾਇ ਰਹੀ ਤਵ ਪਾਇ ਪਰ ॥
jor haath sir nayaae rahee tav paae par |I am falling at your feet with folded hands and bowed head
ਹੋ ਕਾਮ ਕੇਲ ਮੁਹਿ ਸਾਥ ਕਰੋ ਲਪਟਾਇ ਕਰਿ ॥੧੦॥
ho kaam kel muhi saath karo lapattaae kar |10|To embrace me and have sexual intercourse. 10.

ਮੂਰਖ ਕਛੂ ਬਾਤ ਨਹਿ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
moorakh kachhoo baat neh jaanee |That fool (man) did not even understand the matter
ਪਾਇਨ ਸੋ ਰਾਨੀ ਲਪਟਾਨੀ ॥
paaein so raanee lapattaanee |That the queen is lying at (my) feet.
ਮਾਨ ਹੇਤ ਬਚ ਮਾਨਿ ਨ ਲਯੋ ॥
maan het bach maan na layo |(His) pride did not obey his word.
ਅਧਿਕ ਕੋਪ ਅਬਲਾ ਕੇ ਭਯੋ ॥੧੧॥
adhik kop abalaa ke bhayo |11|(By doing this) the queen became very angry. 11.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥
arril |adamant:
ਸੁਨੁ ਮੂਰਖ ਮੈ ਤੋ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਸੰਘਾਰਹੋਂ ॥
sun moorakh mai to ko pratham sanghaarahon |(Queen said) O fool! Listen, first I will kill you.
ਤਾ ਪਾਛੇ ਨਿਜ ਪੇਟ ਕਟਾਰੀ ਮਾਰਿਹੋਂ ॥
taa paachhe nij pett kattaaree maarihon |After that, I will stab myself in the stomach.
