At the time of his death, my husband said,
‘At the time of the death my husband had willed this and I am telling you so.
(One) The supreme Brahmin had cursed the king,
‘A priest had passed a curse on the Raja that he would become a pauper.(10)

‘And at his very gate, Raja would take his seat,
After casting off his Kingship, he would become a pauper.’(11)
So the king said to him (the Brahmin) that I will have a loan sometime.
What the great brahmin said to the king, that is what I am telling (to you). 12.

(You) stay at the gate of the fort for a few days
(‘The priest had told Raja,) “You would stay at the gate for a few days and try to tolerate the distress
(Then) Rani will come here in search
“One day Rani will come and let you have the Kingdom.(13)

“You will rule the same way, although your presentation will be different.”
‘I am telling this the way Raja had communicated to me.(l4)
Chaupaee
You and I go to find him
‘You and me will go out and search the way Raja had willed.
Only then can I live in the world,
‘I can only live in this world if I again possess the Raja again.’(15)
The minister went (there) with the queen
Along with Rani, the Minister went out and established that man as Raja.
He made him the king of the whole country
He was en throned as the Raja of all the land and all the power was handed over to him.(16)

Herself killing the Raja she had staged a deception,
And felt much appeased by making the pauper a Raja.(17)(1)

There lived a Raja named Maingal Singh, who was from the clan of Raghu Wans.
There was a beautiful woman in his house.
He had a woman in his house, who was, seemingly, carved by the God himself.(1)

She was known in the world as Dant Prabha and her beauty was
admired by Indara and all the gods.(2)

A perfect maid used to live in her residence,
Who was proficient in Vedas, Grammar, Six Shastras, Philosophy and Koka-shastra.(3)
On perceiving her splendour, Raja fell for her,
But, being scared of his women, he could not give her any gift.( 4)

A ring was taken by the king
Raja brought a ring and gave it to that maid.
Explained this to him
He told her to’ say that she had found it being mislaid.(5)
