ਗੂਦ ਪਰਿਓ ਤਿਹ ਕੋ ਇਮ ਜਿਉ ਸਵਦਾਗਰ ਕੋ ਟੂਟਿ ਗਯੋ ਮਟੁ ਘੀ ਕੋ ॥੧੭੩॥
good pario tih ko im jiau savadaagar ko ttoott gayo matt ghee ko |173|The marrow of his head came out like the breaking of the pitcher of ghee of some trader.173.
ਰਾਹ ਭਯੋ ਤਬ ਹੀ ਨਿਕਸੇ ਹਰਿ ਗਵਾਰ ਸਭੈ ਨਿਕਸੇ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਰੇ ॥
raah bhayo tab hee nikase har gavaar sabhai nikase tih naare |In this way, when the passage was created, Krishna came out alongwith his gopa friends from the head of the demon
ਦੇਵ ਤਬੈ ਹਰਖੇ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਪਿਖਿ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਬਚਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਪੰਨਗ ਭਾਰੇ ॥
dev tabai harakhe man mai pikh kaanrah bachio har panag bhaare |All the gods were overjoyed to see Krishna surviving from the attack of the huge serpent
ਗਾਵਤ ਗੀਤ ਸਬੈ ਗਣ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਭੋ ਮੁਖ ਬੇਦ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥
gaavat geet sabai gan gandhrab braham sabho mukh bed uchaare |The ganas and gandarvas began to sing songs and Brahma began to recite Vedas
ਆਨੰਦ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਯੋ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਨਗ ਰਛਕ ਜੀਤਿ ਚਲੇ ਘਰਿ ਭਾਰੇ ॥੧੭੪॥
aanand sayaam bhayo man mai nag rachhak jeet chale ghar bhaare |174|There was happiness in the minds of all, and Krishna and his companions, the conquerors of the Naga, started for their home.174.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਕਢਿਯੋ ਸਿਰਿ ਕੇ ਮਗਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਨ ਕਢਿਯੋ ਮੁਖ ਕੇ ਮਗੁ ਜੋਰ ਅੜੀ ਕੇ ॥
kaanrah kadtiyo sir ke mag hvai na kadtiyo mukh ke mag jor arree ke |Krishna came out from the head of the demon and not from his mouth, saturated with blood
ਸ੍ਰਉਨ ਭਰਿਯੋ ਇਮ ਠਾਢਿ ਭਯੋ ਪਹਰੇ ਪਟ ਜਿਉ ਮੁਨਿ ਸ੍ਰਿੰਗਮੜੀ ਕੇ ॥
sraun bhariyo im tthaadt bhayo pahare patt jiau mun sringamarree ke |All were standing like a sage clad in red ochre clothes
ਏਕ ਕਹੀ ਇਹ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਫੁਨਿ ਅਉ ਕਬਿ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਮਧਿ ਬੜੀ ਕੇ ॥
ek kahee ih kee upamaa fun aau kab ke man madh barree ke |The poet has also given a simile for this spectacle
ਢੋਵਤ ਈਟ ਗੁਆਰ ਸਨੈ ਹਰਿ ਦਉਰਿ ਚੜੇ ਜਨੁ ਸੀਸ ਗੜੀ ਕੇ ॥੧੭੫॥

ਇਤਿ ਅਘਾਸੁਰ ਦੈਤ ਬਧਹਿ ॥

ਅਥ ਬਛਰੇ ਗਵਾਰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਚੁਰੈਬੋ ਕਥਨੰ ॥
ath bachhare gavaar brahamaa churaibo kathanan |Now begins the description of the calves and gopas stolen by Brahma

ਰਾਛਸ ਮਾਰਿ ਗਏ ਜਮੁਨਾ ਤਟਿ ਜਾਇ ਸਭੋ ਮਿਲਿ ਅੰਨ ਮੰਗਾਯੋ ॥
raachhas maar ge jamunaa tatt jaae sabho mil an mangaayo |After killing the demon, all went to the bank of Yamuna and put the articles of meal together
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਰ ਪਰਿਓ ਮੁਰਲੀ ਕਟਿ ਖੋਸ ਲਈ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
kaanrah pravaar pario muralee katt khos lee man mai sukh paayo |All the boys gathered around Krishna putting his flute in his waist, Krishna felt great delight
ਕੈ ਛਮਕਾ ਬਰਖੈ ਛਟਕਾ ਕਰ ਬਾਮ ਹੂੰ ਸੋ ਸਭ ਹੂੰ ਵਹ ਖਾਯੋ ॥
kai chhamakaa barakhai chhattakaa kar baam hoon so sabh hoon vah khaayo |All the boys gathered around Krishna putting his flute in his waist, Krishna felt great delight
ਮੀਠ ਲਗੇ ਤਿਹ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਰ ਕੈ ਗਤਿ ਕੈ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਮੁਖ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੧੭੬॥
meetth lage tih kee upamaa kar kai gat kai har ke mukh paayo |176|They immediately seasoned the food and began to eat it quickly with their left hand and put the tasty food in the mouth of Krishna.176.
ਕੋਊ ਡਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਮੁਖਿ ਗ੍ਰਾਸ ਠਗਾਇ ਕੋਊ ਅਪਣੇ ਮੁਖਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥
koaoo ddarai har ke mukh graas tthagaae koaoo apane mukh ddaare |Someone, being frightened, began to put the morsels in the mouth of Krishna and someone causing Krishna to eat the food,
ਹੋਇ ਗਏ ਤਨਮੈ ਕਛੁ ਨਾਮਕ ਖੇਲ ਕਰੋ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਰ ਕਾਰੇ ॥
hoe ge tanamai kachh naamak khel karo sang kaanrahar kaare |Began to put the morsels in his own mouth in this way all began to play with Krishna
ਤਾ ਛਿਨ ਲੈ ਬਛਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਇਕਠੇ ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਸੁ ਕੁਟੀ ਮਧਿ ਡਾਰੇ ॥
taa chhin lai bachhare brahamaa ikatthe kar kai su kuttee madh ddaare |At the same time, Brahma gathered together their calves and closed them in a cottage
ਢੂੰਢਿ ਫਿਰੇ ਨ ਲਹੇ ਸੁ ਕਰੈ ਬਛਰੇ ਅਰੁ ਗ੍ਵਾਰ ਨਏ ਕਰਤਾਰੇ ॥੧੭੭॥
dtoondt fire na lahe su karai bachhare ar gvaar ne karataare |177|All of them went in search of their calves, but when not any gopa and calf could be found the Lord (Krishna) created new calves and gopas.177.

ਜਬੈ ਹਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਇਹੈ ਤਬ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ ਤਤਕਾਲੁ ॥
jabai hare brahamaa ihai tab har jee tatakaal |When Brahma stole them
ਕਿਧੋ ਬਨਾਏ ਛਿਨਕੁ ਮੈ ਬਛਰੇ ਸੰਗਿ ਗਵਾਲ ॥੧੭੮॥
kidho banaae chhinak mai bachhare sang gavaal |178|When Brahma did all this stealing, then at the same instant Krishna created the calves alongwith gopas.178.
